8:50 Spekulatius is a typical christmas time 'cookie'. Looks more like the pic on the right that ou had open. And in case this needs explaining, 'Spuk' is ghostly activity.
Yes. So, giving it a pumpkin shape (or another spooky form) would fit. And, tbh, I am beginning to like this idea. Turning a Christmas cookie into a Halloween goodie and then seamlessly continue selling it till newyear... They are already doing it, but it would be a little less obvious.
9:08 Actually it's less than a week because the Spook-ulatius is meant for Halloween. Spekulatius is a Christmas cookie but the supermarkets begin selling them - as well as other Christmas sweets - as soon as the last week of August. So this is an idea how to make it fit into autumn better.

Most names today are either Latin or Christian (so Hebrew) in origin or a US import.
Spekulatius is a Christmas pastry, and you will find Christmas chocolate and pastries in our shops in October, which annoys everyone.
The coming late to work meme is just a fancy dream of being lazy and it is so popular as they know people watch closely that you stick to the schedule.
It's always funny as a german looking at u how u try to get the joke, even if u sometimes get it wrong
12:05 The Middle 😂 Mike, Franky, Sue, Axl and Brick
Home office during corona was actually the opposite for me. I usually start at around 7 am, but since I was awake before 6 am anyway I just started at 6 am or earlier.
3:59 that's not about sleeping in. 9 in the morning is just the height of old people shopping hour.
many of them wrongly pronounce words that didn't originate in german. mostly words that start with "sp" or "st" that usually don't have a "sh" sound in it.
We don't have Pawn Stars, we have Bares für Rares :)
Most of these memes are absolutely "flat" even in german.
Hey Ryan, i think you slowly get better in understanding german, with all the memes (maimais) you watch ;)
maybe use an language learning tool, some times in between, you also can make videos about that, how you guess vocabularys ;)
before you know it, you may really be able to talk in german, like James Bray who learned it all with duolingo and his discord community..
now visiting germany, he can even vlog in german and talk to germans on street in german.
one question: do you ever plan on visiting germany with the family?
we could give you great tipps where to visit !
"Wärmepumpe" is not just a hot water pump, it's a device to transfer heat.
12:50 no because you’re completely right! Great job, fr!
Now we know where the contamination of MD is coming from, it's from a sick red onion 🤣
"Jugendwort" is the most famous youth expression of the year
In Germany we only have washing machines with transparent doors where you can see the laundry inside. At least I have never seen other washing machines in Germany
@@Auvas_Damask I own a Toploader. Ist extrem praktisch in engen Wohnungen. Ich habe nicht den Platz, meine Waschmaschine von vorne zu befüllen.
"the Word of the year Lady" best Moment! 🤣 Susanne Daubner. Presenting the "Tagesschau" News she presented the "youth Word of the year" for years and announced to retire from that "duty" but the Community wanted her Back... (Know the Clip where she nearly cant stop laughing?)
You have to try german Spekulatius. It‘s not just a regular biscuit. It has a very special taste and you usually eat it around the time of christmas (or like winter at all)
Hey, Ryan 🙂
1:40 - Gronkh is one of the biggest RUclipsrs in Germany with 4 or 5 Million viewers
3:32 - This one refers to the fact, that more and more germans sadly donʼt buy bread, rolls or pretzels at the bakery. The tend to buy more fast food stuff like Soft drinks or Chocolade Croissants
6:04 - Yes, the show “Pawn stars” is also broadcast in Germany, only with voice actors.
We also have PawnStars and it's even dubbed in German.
He isn't looking at washing machine at all, th's at the McDo for his stunt with the fries.
It isn't about what he is in front but the look he has which is the look someone has when they have to use the washing machine for the first time on their own aka. "how does that even work?!"
for real you're getting proficient in this, even understanding the hundert joke
Gronkh is one of the biggest and oldest german content creators. he has been streaming minecraft backthen and started randomly singing when he almost overlooked coalOre. Its also a curveball on germanys green revolution but still sticking to coal mining.
Yeah Donalds face, his look says it all "WoW" What the hell is going on there?
😂😂😂
It's supply and demand, in particular, the state demanding new heaters to be heat-pumps without bothering to check whether there's enough plumbers to actually do the work.
How did you figure out the einhundert thing but not the washing machine...😂❤
The hallo is getting better and better
4 gewinnt is my favourite. I used to play against my grandpa, now I play against my youngest child. They recently started getting that we take turns and once almost accidentally beat me lol. We have been playing ever since they were old enough to put chips into slots.
Well the thing with being late to work fits for like most trainees... the older gens are early lol
The second meme 😂 there are the people on schedule and there are the people who come chronically late 😂 there is almost never something in between. 😬
wärmepumpe is a kind of reverse fridge for heastinghouses instead of inside cold it is inside warm, and lower temperature outsie.. it can produce the equivalent of 3 kW warmth out of 1 kW lectricity. do not mistake temperature with amount of energy. you can heat your house even with a temperature of 5° centigrade outside by just making it even colder,
it compresses and expands a mediumajust like a fridge- threrefore the frifdge must have a space behind it for properr air circulation
12:00 I think Ziegel refers to a Tile (on the roof) => Tiler , Cliff, Hunter, Turner
Ye, we have "Pawn Stars" on german TV, and its like "WTF dude! What a trash! Fuck off "or "WTF dude! This is priceless, it belongs to a Museum! I´ll give you 200 Bucks." I would cry and lough at the same time watching it....
The point is, when you work fast you can take a half hour nap under the car. So that it look like you are busy with repair. XD XD XD
3:31 Actually, this one is referring to how some people just pronounce things in the bakery wrong. Schrpite is Sprite and Schokogrossong is supposed to mean Schokocroissant (I guess a croissant with chocolate)
The subjects are the same because it’s the most relateable…and no sometimes you just gotta accidentally sleep in…hehe
Spekulatius is a Christmas biskuit and in germany they start selling it in Autum.
I thought the washing machine meme was pretty much global 😅
But I‘m so proud of Ryan for figuring out the „ein🐈ert“ meme 👏👏👏
Of course we have Pawn Stars here in Germany! I still like watching it.
Gronkh a german politischen! 😂I like 😂 He is one of the biggest Streamer in Germany
Spekulatius is a spice cookie that used to be eaten almost only around Christmas. There is, however, no real reason not to sell and eat them, as soon as the weather gets cooler - and exactly that is happening these days.
Every year in Germany the word word, the word of youth, the bird of the year, etc. are named. Often it's for laughter.
10:32 the captions never started working to begin with :D
1:45 Gronkh shares your profession... He's just way bigger
Susanne Daubner is talking about having announced quitting the segment in '23 - but people wanted her to remain because it had gotten this iconic at that point and so she returned for 2024, for the community one could say.. 😅
2:26 so proud of you 😂
Spooky - latius for Helloween
