@Thunder Beast Nope. I can’t stand Starbucks. My hometown has a CCD and a Barista but no ICH. When I go to Delhi I make sure to do a pit stop here. Both my late grandmother and my dad have fond memories of the CP ICH.

The people who prefer ich over Starbucks and Dukin are clearly more patriotic and nationalist and rest of the people clearly look down upon Indian joints hence they should leave India for good, you can't be sane and rational and appreciate multiple joints for their plus points, you have to chose what is Indian.

The Indian coffee house at Jabalpur that I'd been to almost 20 years ago was such an experience. Old British building, great food and a complete retro vibe. It was my parents' favorite spot in the city. Hope it's still there, would definitely love to visit again someday!
I have been there too, once I went to Indian coffee house of kachpura and on 2nd time I went to one of Vijay Nagar, there are many ich in jabalpur and all are amazing..👍

Indian Coffee house in Kolkata is another iconic place. You will get to see almost all writers, philosophers, flimmakers, poets, artists n also general people as well.
I tried coffee houses in Bangalore, CHENNAI, Hyd N Kerala apart from Kolkata n Mumbai and almost all the places serve superb food with amazing coffee.
When You storytelling, i feel i am there with you and also feel the test of those foods or dishes. Thank you.

There is a very heavy dose of nostalgia shoved in a video, not just the coffee house but ur narration as well.. damn it's good.
this used to be ideal hangout spot. the special coffee you see worth 42 used to cost 25 and hot coffee worth 15 only. cost of dosa used to be 30-50. They have renovated the place because there used to be two inside sitting section and the decoration seemed to be from 60-70. Old people discussing about events from the 50-90. the golden period for some.. i was in college , it was an affordable place no doubt. i used to be regular here because that is all i could afford. we used to listen stories of old people.

I once went there in 2016, I had French Toast, Omelette, coffee and Masala Dosa, it gives very rustic vibes , the service provider there were dressed in safa and safari which was giving out very special feeling, overall it was very good experience, the food was also quite delectable.
