Irani Cafes are gems in the Map of Bombay. They have kept the tradition alive even to this day. The quality is very good and all dishes mouth watering.
They have had their tradition intact for so many years. Really appreciate that goodwill gesture, which has added to Mumbai's food flavor. One more reason to visit the parsi restaurant.
Irani Restuarants & Cafes have been Bombay's favourite spot for Broon Paav / Bun Maska since my childhood days at King's Circle / Matunga. I have definitely visited Irani Cafes in King's Circle / Matunga more than the famous Udipi Restuarants, which serve Idli / Vada Sambar , Onion Uttapa & Masala Dosa. Ofcourse Cafe Colony, at the end of Hindu Colony & beginning of Tilak Bridge has been my favourite Irani Cafe.

We flew in from Dubai last evening upon watching this video. Everything we tried at this restaurant made the short trip completely worth it. My personal favorites were the Brun maska, chicken cutlets, bread pudding bheja fry and chai 😍. Thank you Fathemeh for the warmth and hospitality.
Cafe Colony, in Hindu Colony ! When at my grandma, used to be my usual place to buy ice cream and bread and I think the gentleman is same person who was a young man who was taking care of business ( not sure ) Next to Cafe Colony was BC Stores which had excellent stuff like 'Double Decker Barfi' and 'Kharwas' ( now shifted opp side ) and then bang opp Cafe Colony is Parsi Dairy for Lassi etc and few steps ahead Idli Dosa, Swagat and D Damodar Dadar you have my heart ! Thanks for this Ep 👍
My grand father , father have enjoid this cafe in 1950s till 2006. I have mooved to Navi Mumbai but I still visit this cafe for nostalgic memories. It is fiest to open in morning and last to close. Even basic life nesicites like tooth paste is also avaiable.
I have visited this Irani cafe, food is very Tasty. All food lovers shoud visit this cafe & keep this one of the rarest Irani hotel in mumbai alive. Owners are soft spoken & down to earth. All the Best, keep it up.❤

Simply awesome!! Sir please visit Cafe Goodluck in Pune, super famous Irani cafe almost 90/100 years old. Also iconic Bedekar Misal in Narayan Peth. Both are extraordinary places with rich culture and some history.

Sad tat we hardly have ne in suburban area, but i ll highly recommend visiting Ahura restaurant on Mumbai Ahmedabad Highway if not covered already. Almost 2 hrs from Mumbai but awesome authentic Irani food

Dear Sir, Please cover all the Irani Restaurants in Mumbai. Irani Cafes and Rests. are not the usual place to visit but an emotion that Mumbai carries with its roots. Very few younger generations like us, love and understand the importance of these restaurants. I know these places as my father used to take me to have keema pav and Brun maska pav every Saturday morning. Many places are undiscovered and need to have a reach like La Cafe Prix which I was unaware of, please requesting you to cover all the Parsi & Irani cafes. This Irani restaurant is very old n very warm place.... Owners are extremely sweet hosts !!.. You won't find any other Irani cafe run by such a hardworking, beautiful n humble girls !!... You will love their food, hospitality and ambience !!... reasonably priced too !! DO VISIT ..
I come here to watch Kunal Sir😂 I just love the way he enjoys food , he is so sweet with the hosts, so patient with what they wanna say. If anyone wants to enjoy the food, they should enjoy it like Kunal sir 🤩
These were the no nonsense restaurants. The snacks chai bread kheema pudding pulav everything was awesome. Including the chairs and Jukeboxes. Many are closing down. Escalating real estate prices. Second generation owners engaged in other proffesions. It was an era.
I absolutely love such old cafes. I can spend hours there if allowed admiring the ceilings, the walls, the furniture, all the wooden stuff, stained glass, old pictures, that is around. although a vegetarian , i do relish the bun maska and chai. Raspberry soda is also my favorite when i do visit these Irani cafes and the mava cakes. yumm. not aware if they make vegetarian versions of Dhansak and berry pulao. if yes id definitely try them . will definitely check this place out. Please do ask your hosts that one of your favorite vegetarian fan has requested to make a few Parsi vegetarian recipes. ill definitely eat there.

Cafe Colony's kheema pav is too good. We stay in Dadar Parsi Colony. Gaz is a Irani sweet made from camel's milk
