Hi, are you sure that the firmware solves the issue? I have the F4 A.27 installed which changes the fan noise but never heard or found a confirmation from Growatt that the Grid bypass issue is solved.
Thanks for making this in English.According to manual each unit requires 50A fuse on input AC and output, you have one relay 63A which automatic enables your AC input correct,is this enough?Nice thought dry contact. Also i think 🤔 the proper setting is SOL or SBU not utility as you have this dry contact control as i understand your BMS kills the inverter which is All-in 1 and does not communicate with growatts (jk BMS) you need to set growatts cut off on higher value from inverter and lower on JK if solar is not present with low battery the jk bms will shutdown the inverter as it draws 50 watt you need to start the utility to prevent this. But on previous videos you build DIY Semplos BMS,im a bit confused 😅.
sorry a lot of questions in one post which confuses me also. let' s start with the ac in fuse, I of course have a ACIn fuse which is in my main cabinet and counts 32A. the fuse is more for protecting your power cable and if the fuse is smaller is disconnects in an error case earlier. so 32A are fine and never shut down my system. next topic: while breaking the connection via dry contact sol, uti and sub seem not to make much difference by functionality. when your battery soc hits the low value, grid will be connected and starts to take over. there are minor differences between the modes but utility was the best choice for my setup by now. all my bms communicate with the inverter. my former pylontech battery did that as well as the seplos bms of my EEL cases. you can also change the growatts to judge based on voltages of the battery which is not accurate and doesn't give you an idea on which state of charge it is. why the jk is shutting down the inverter? maybe you mixing things up
Hi I have problem body I’m trying to change my battery from the grid but i see the voltage from the grid Rich 250v when I try to change is switching my fuse and gos back on the battery mode do you think the power from the grid is to high ? Thank you 🙏🏻
Hi. Can you post the detailed connection diagrams for this dry contact connection? Im stuck with AC by pass in SBU mode, which is exactly as yours. Im using SPF 6000 ES PLUS
Did you measured the power consuption of idle Bypass? When Bypas is on its drain app. 1,4 Amps.. which is around 300 Watts.. Which is crazy consuption!
Hallo, habe den Stick zum laufen gebracht. auf Shine Phone App kommt zwar im oberen Bereich die aktuellen Daten. Aber im unteren Bereich sehe ich keine Batterie usw. What is the time delay between the change over from DC supply to AC mains supply? Plus what happens if the Growatt is under load durring this change over like 60 %- 80% load?
with this contactor workaround the time delay is around 30seconds. The reason for this is that the inverter starts a phase synch process as soon the grid is connected and then switches over to the AC source. This time delay isn't an issue as the whole process happens when your battery still has charge left. I recommend to set the switch back to grid (P12) around 20% SoC. While switching over to AC I haven't had any issues in the past even the inverters are under load.
hello, I have an identical installation with 3 inverters 5 kW mounted in parallel with a total single-phase output of 15 kw but I have a three-phase public network subscription of 15A per phase, I would like to know if it is possible to make the network injection of the 3 phases with one phase per inverter
3x5kW is not 45kW? I´m not really understanding what you mean with these values. You are of course able to set the inverters into 3phase mode and provide 5kW in each phase.

Never tried this but I doubt your setup will work as the inverters check the input phase sync and will give an error when the input phase is not correct. In the worst case the inverter switches to bypass and makes a direct phase connection which might cause to open a wormhole or other things you might not want to consider.

Has anybody else experienced their SPF consuming roughly 200 watts per inverter on idle mode. No matter what if I'm in solar batteries or grid I'm consuming about 200 extra W power inverter I'm running 3 inverters
@@kirkdis I simply put my amp meter on the grid input and measure the output with all the breakers off. I'm using to step up three wire Auto Transformers to balance my load out with 240 volt to 120 volt. Even with those turned off I'm still consuming about 200 watts each
Thanks for taking the time to do the video. That's exactly what damaged my AGM batteries.
sad... repoet this case to Growatt and ask to take over the costs for the batteries.
Thank you for doing this in English too. 🙏
I had the same problem before. I made a firmware update, so the sbu mode works as expected. And the fans are quiter!

Yes f4 a.27 solved the problem for me
Thanks for the video!

yes, self consumption is bad with the SPF inverters.
Thank you.

Hi, did you connect Neutral or Hot wire line to the dry contact?
I propose to use the phase/line or hot wire as you call it.
Can I specifying ac charge current to limit utility taking and substitute d from battery storage
you can set the max ac charge current in the parameters

Hi it Isak my growat 5kw inveter not switched to utility, after I connect the dry contact please help me.
which firmware do you have? upgrading to a newer firmware seems to solve the issues without using the dry contact
Lässt sich beim Growatt spf 5000 das Display ausschalten, oder leuchtet es dauerhaft.
man kann es ausschalten.
Anybody have info on error102 growatt? Besides basic CPU data mismatch description
