    I heard over and over ppl emphasized that the mouse def is to be used completely by itself, so I was pleasantly surprised to see that it can be combined with other products.. I like the way this combo came out on your hair.

    My staple combo is actually UFD, mousse def, and ecoslay Jell-O shot in that order! It’s perfect

    My hair loves UFD and Innersense I Create Hold. I’ve never had flakes, light dusting can occur with gels. My hair definitely gets shine from these 2 gels.

    The wash-n-go looks nice! You can unscrew the lid on the Mousse Def to see how much you have left.
    This is one of my favorite combos it's in my hair now. Tomorrow is shampoo day for me and I'll be using this combo again. I can't use a hooded dryer anymore so I always diffuse now. I'm always amazed how the same product can work so well on one head of hair and not on another even when the hair seems similar.
    EDIT: I had to shake my hair over a black shirt to see if I had flakes but just didn't see them, lol. Tomorrow is day four and not a flake in sight.

      Yeah, it is funny how things work for some and not others. Maybe I used too much of something, I don't know, but I definitely had a lot of snow. I'm glad you found a combo that works for you. Thanks for sharing and for tuning in.

    Definitely would like to see a twist out video using the mousse alone

    I've tried that combo before. My hair didn't like it at all. The mousse def just dries my hair out, no matter what i use with it, and using it alone made my hair feel like straw. I like the Camille Rose Honey Mousse much better.

    Hi Rae I like the wng and love the bangs on you and I love the volume and I have never used the Doux mousse but have used the UFD Curly Magic with their SuperCurl and loved that combo

    Whoo! I finished the vid and I'm happy you said you won't be trying this again, you already have stuff you know works great. I only macgyvered this combo because it was the last thing that wasn't making me sick. As soon as you said you used a lot of water I knew you were going to get a fluffy hold. This combo (when used on damp hair) only thoroughly defined the hair at the top of my head that although coarse in strand size is a smoother area in comparison to the rest of my hair. Everywhere else on my it didn't really define.

      😂 glad you got through the video and, no, I won't be trying it again. It flaked and I'm not with the flakes. Also, I am just trying to use up my products. I do want to try the mousse for a twist out, though. Hopefully, I'll get better results. 🤷🏾‍♀️ Thanks for tuning in.

    I swear before Curly Magic got popular I could use it with no problem.
    But once they changed the formula again my hair just doesn’t like it.
    I love Mousse as a base and a gel as a topper.
    I just might try this combo so I can finish the CM gel that is left in my house.
    My fav now is the Camille Rose Mousse with Innersense I Create Hold Gel.
    Loved your results☺️

    I love your results. Would you say the UFD gel penetrated well. I have it in my stash & have yet to try it. I hate when products just sit. Your bangs look fab 😍. As always…Tfs.

    • @NaturalRaeRae
      @NaturalRaeRae  Год назад

      I really don't look for my gels to penetrate my strands; I look for them to coat my stands and define the curls. However my hair was not white with the UFD, but I did have just a bit of white once I added the foam. I hope that answers your question. Thanks for tuning in.

    • @callmechichi1711
      @callmechichi1711 Год назад +1

      @@NaturalRaeRae Yes the reason I am asking is because people say that it is moisturizing. I was thinking that it has to penetrate the strands in order for the hair to receive moisture. Thanks for your response.

    • @NaturalRaeRae
      @NaturalRaeRae  Год назад

      oh, I think people say it's moisturizing is because it has humectants in it that draws moisture to the hair to keep it moisturized. Hope that helps.

    Girl that mousse did not work well for me but I am happy it gave u good definition. I prefer the camille rose mousse. i still have half a bottle in my stash maybe i should try it again. i am not encouraged to but for the sake of using up my stash i will give it another try.

    • @NaturalRaeRae

      Someone else said that they liked the Camille Rose mousse better, too. Maybe try the Camille Rose mousse with UFD instead and see if that works, since you like it better. Otherwise, listen to your hair. If you know it doesn't like Mousse Def, move on to something it does like. No need to torture your hair. 😂 Thanks for tuning in.

      Why didn't you ask? I'm happy to answer questions. This my first time trying The Doux, but I do have the Big Poppa gel that I still need to try. Do you use The Doux products? If so, which ones?

      @@NaturalRaeRae awww thanks! I do use The Doux. Mousse Def and Big Poppa are my faves so far. Tried the Bee Girl Line and didn’t like any of those unfortunately. I do want to try the wash n go line tho’

    • @NaturalRaeRae
      @NaturalRaeRae  Год назад +1

      I'm surprised you didn't like the Bee Girl line; so many people are raving about it. Do you use anything under the Big Poppa gel?

    • @Shaunie09
      @Shaunie09 Год назад +1

      @@NaturalRaeRae Hey Rae! I don’t use anything under the Big Poppa which is why I like it so much. When used alone the shine is great, there is no flaking (even when I spritz water and add more gel the next day) and of course the curls are popping 🙂. The bee girl left my hair so hard I had to wash out and I tried it different ways cause I wanted to like it.
      The wash n go line has too much protein and my hair just didn’t like it (felt like straw). The curl refresher from the wash n go line is great however esp. with big poppa and mouse def. So those are my three faves.

      I probably won't be trying Deva Curl SuperMousse. I've never been interested in DevaCurl products. The only way I would even think about trying them is if I received them in PR. Thanks for tuning in, though.
