I've run into similar issues with The Bloodline, so it could just be an issue with the asset pack combined with weather/lighting effects creating a sub-optimal experience? Physics objects could be a factor too, might be more CPU than GPU heavy
Gameplay first, and gameplay looks great. Its using a fairly common asset style among indie devs, games like The Bloodline and annother STALKER-like I'm forgetting the name of. The huge weapon roster makes sense if theres a STALKER-like mode, given the fairly large roster of guns in that game.

@@problagater0837 Well technically anarchism isn't against all forms of societal organization it's just against bureaucratic state apparatuses in favor of non-governmental forms of organizing. Left-wing variants tend to favor worker focused councils, moderate variants focus more on local citizens committees, and right-wing variants focus on unrestrained capitalism and business ventures as the organizing principle. POLITICS? IN MY VIDEO GAME!!!! Why can't we have less political games, like Bioshock, Fallout, Metal Gear and Call of Duty... That last one wasn't even a joke, Call of Duty really pulls every punch it makes. Another banger vid, love seeing coverage of these more obscure game, keep it up dude!
Theres a difference between games with political themes that are relevant to the story, and blatant political pandering without saying anything. Fallout New Vegas is a game all about politics, but it does it in such a way to make the player part of the conversation, and in a way that respects the players intelligence. Its not that those games arent political, its that those games respect you, your intelligence, and dont try to tell you how to think
@@irishijo1wow, I wish more people make this distinction. Not that it helps much, though, as MGS2 isn’t really “including you in the conversation”, it’s just outright telling you “this will happen, I hope you’re ready.” To me, any “political” part of a video game just comes down to taste. As it turns out, your tastes will define if you like a game or not, and if you’ll overlook certain aspects in comparison to others. I’d make the argument that FNV is about as “preachy” as other games can be about politics, but it’s done in such a well-written game that people tend to overlook those aspects. For an example of the opposite, YIIK. Bad, boring gameplay combined with a super airy and up-the-ass writing style makes what the game is trying to say a lot more grating than it really should be, even if the ideas it presents aren’t all that inflammatory
We NEED more Half Likes period. Also Halo and COD introduced the two weapon limit, which for semi realistic military makes sense. Irl you can only realistically carry your primary and a sidearm. The exceptions being Snipers who often have a Sniper, AR and sidearm usually. So if games are going for semi realism it makes sense, but a Sci fi type game like this makes no sense.
Irl I carry 3 SAWs, an RPG, and 4 m16s through the desert while I'm butt-ass naked and high on retro idk what you're talking about. Also speaking of Half-likes, KVARK and Vladik Brutal just came out and those both look really cool

It is using free asset packs
ADACA PEAK!!!!!!! FINALLY SOMEONE I CARE ABOUT IS TALKING ABOUT THIS GAME 🔥🗣️🔥🗣️🗣️🔥🔥🔥
Jareks review of it was pretty good tbf
It is legit how uncanny how Indie FPS games are kinda making a bunch of spiritual successors of a bunch of older games
Triple A companies mostly do mediocre remakes or get blackrock funding nowadays

"The Peoples Free State of Twitter-Stan" Oh you mean CHAZ?
I frequently forget that thing even happened because it's so fucking hilarious and depressing at the same time
@@snesbagel I really like how the 1st thing they did was form a government despite being anarchists.

You should try out Zone Patrol. It's like a STALKER spin-off.
I probably will eventually

I'll give zone patrol a shot at some point I just have a lot to do lately

Game looks neat but uses those common preset 3D character/animation pack that always puts me off.
Yeh, part of why I suggested that a team multi-talented team could do a lot for these sorts of projects

@snesbagel will it ever be on console later on or??

Im surprised you didn’t mention the halo inspiration for this game
I make a comparison to it towards the end
2 weapon non binary liberal limit in my half-life inspired fps games?! preposterous!
(nice video btw)

Look, I can overlook if a game is made by a non-binary, a furry or an AnCom, but a non-binary furry AnCom?
We need a rival game made by a homophobic vanilla bedroom ancap to balance things out
