  • I needed a knife to skive leather and found a round knife desing on the internet, so I made my simple version from it. The blade is from old saw blade, handle is birch and the pins are brass. Btw I was going to film some cutting tests but I forgot to do that.

Nice job, your videos continue to get better, I think I'll try a folder next for edc. Thanks for the content, Eoin.

Thanks! I highly recommend to get a folder for edc. It's always really handy to have a small folder in your pocket.

great job man. next time avoid the water quench though lol

backyardbladesmith thanks! yeah I probably will avoid it because it warped a little bit and it probably cracked a little from the quench. I've made a few knives out of this saw blade and I've oil quenched them all. They hold their edge pretty decently but maybe not as well as they could so I decided to try water quench if that would make this steel any harder.

@@MLCustomKnives They dont hold a edge because saw blades are not made with High Carbon steel since the late 70s! unless they are expensive

That knife is an ancient model used in the Inkas's empire. The knife was called "TUMI" by the inkas people.

video is good but did not show functioning ,
    functioning is important as making.
