I got the coconut vanilla and have used through +40C and a sweaty workout and surprisingly it held up. No aluminum free deodorants have ever worked for me so I'm happy I found it.

Uqora is great for UTIs. It’s a drink mix that alkalizes your urine which relieves the pain and just helps all around. It’s great and I love it. The last time I got a UTI I used that alone and it went away without the use of antibiotics
I'm 42 and have worn glasses since I was 9. I've never been able to wear contacts. I'm having Lasik surgery in 5 days and I'm so excited to start wearing sunglasses!
If you get stuck with a UTI somewhere with limited pharmacies etc, a t spoon of bicarbonate of soda in a glass of water helps with the pain and burning but obviously doesn't treat the underlying cause. In the UK (and likely elsewhere) we have sachets you can buy by cystopurin or canestan. Supermarket pharmacies usually have their own version too always called something inventive like 'cystitis relief powders' that treat the UTI over 2 days. You take 1 sachet 3x a day in water. They're not antibiotics but work to relieve symptoms if your body has a mild case it can flush out itself or while you're waiting to get antibiotics. They can also stop the cystitis if you take them quickly enough in my experience. These might be the sachets you're talking about Allana? If not, really worth picking some up to keep in your bathroom and travel case. They're life savers. Conversely daily high dose vitamin c works as a preventative measure by making the urine too acidic for the bacteria that cause UTIs to thrive. Same principle as taking cranberry tablets or drinking cranberry juice but more potent.
I relate to you sooooo much on the UTIs. I've had a preventative Rx of antibiotics for years now and it really takes away the anxiety and despair that comes along with being stuck somewhere and in pain. It's been encouraging in the last few years to hear more about and know there are others out there that go through the same thing.

I love sunscreen recommendations, I have always had trouble finding ones that don't make me break out, because I do have combination oily skin and in Florida there is a ton of humidity!
I recommend the Swiss Cranberry extract 1132mg pills found in most drug stores for treating early signs of a uti or you can use them as a preventative (especially when on vacation). Something about wet damp cold floors/tiles/concrete/stone in hot climates and bare feet brings on uti’s for us cold weather accustomed folk. I’ve heard it from other women as well.
you need to try the face tanning water from Salty Face!!! Vancouver based brand + you apply the water with their kabuki brush which gives you so much control to contour the face .... color looks super natural!!!

It's kind of funny to me to use it as I am covered in huge tattooes and wear edgy black clothing and all of a sudden I take out a fan like I'm a delicate courtesan in Versailles 😂 but it really helps with cooling the face and drying the sweat. I live in Israel where the weather in summer can get to +40 degrees celsius (around a 105 F) and incredibly humid and that's one of the only things that help.
A bit late but - old navy has the cotton long shorts in a bunch of colors, and with them you can usually find a coupon Also, instead of a ‘chafe’ specific balm, I use my deodorant, someone suggested it to me years ago, and I will never buy a separate product bc I already kept a deodorant in like each bag (and my car lol) and you can get the minis to toss in your purse !

I recently made the switch to Native and a trick I learned from RUclips is to use glycolic acid under your pits before applying! I’ve been sweating up a storm (in 90+ degree weather) for the last two weeks and so far so good, sometimes the deodorant will wear off (as in you can’t smell it any longer) but there’s no bad odor! And trust me I stick my fingers AND nose in my pits to smell 🤣🤣
Also to kill smells - you can also do a “mask” treatment on the pits with a benzoyl peroxide face wash in the shower. Suds up and leave it for a few minutes. Be sure to rinse clean so you don’t accidentally bleach your fabrics!
I would need to add a hat to this list as it’s a summer must for me. Also a cute water bottle for optimal hydration. Instead of these fancy vag wipes just buy a big ol box of baby wipes. They are meant for private parts and are usually much more gentle

I love Native deodorant in the cooler months, but it does nothing for sweat control. You still gon be a sweaty girl! And I feel you with the bladder infections, I have to take a preventative antibiotic after *ahem* special time.
UTI’s are the worst 😢 although you should never use leftover antibiotics as they’re only prescribed for one or two weeks at a time… that’s what we say in the UK

The St. Tropez self-tanning face serum & facial mist are great as well! The mist is really fine & you can even spray over or under makeup. ❤️

Be careful! I used these wipes twice and both times I had a UTI after.. I hadn’t had one of those since I was like 18! That was many, many years ago! They were “feminine” wipes too! I agree completely about the Tatcha the silk sunscreen, however the packaging is horrible, or at least mine is. The outside flakes off so every time I put it on I end up with purple flakes on my face which I pick off…. I’m not sure if it only happens to me but I wish they’d reconsider the packaging because it’s divine.

Wow! Never heard of that! My face gets super sweaty too. Mask mandates are still very strict where I am so I just don’t bother with makeup anymore. :(

Try using the thigh rescue stuff on blistered areas of your feet if you have a pair of shoes that rub.

I agree completely about the Tatcha the silk sunscreen, however the packaging is horrible, or at least mine is. The outside flakes off so every time I put it on I end up with purple flakes on my face which I pick off…. I’m not sure if it only happens to me but I wish they’d reconsider the packaging because it’s divine.
Omg no it’s on mine too!! I squeeze it onto one hand then wipes the flakes off of the second hand before applying LOL I will cover this at some point, hopefully they fix it! 🥲🙏🏻

I also suffer from UTI’s and yeast issues when in the heat. I use to bring meds to treat while on vacation too. I got stuck in Jamaica once and was in horrible shape by the time I got back. Never again. Very interested to hear what the name of the powder drink is. Thank you.
