Everyone: This is a bandana. You wear it on your head.
Tatiana: Its a bra.
Sh*t. I laughed so hard on this lol
Brandana
She can have whatever she likes.
It’s a top that has a black bandana design...
Queen of Metal
In every video she looks like a different person.
I really love that she does that. Gives each video it's own personality. Makes you remember them more.
@@Gillikpal its literally impossible to get sick of her
listen to the lyrics of pisces and you will understand why
And, yet, she always looks damn good!
The Madonna of Metal.
This whole band has really grown. And yes Tatiana is great and all but damn Roman, Eugene, and Vlad just fucking nail every thing in this track. and that breakdown at 2:51 give me goosebumps every time.
1:15 is what gets me :D
Totally 100% agree bro!
100% correct. Most bands it's easy to focus on the vocalist and ignore the rest of the band. In Jinjer every instrument is masterfully played to have it's own personality.
They are very under rated musicians, very good at their instruments each one of them! Very good!
@@dalelandry8787 Where do you get that shit from that they're underrated?
Can we just talk about that near funk level of groove, and how well her vocals harmonize with the guitars, and how JINJER keeps getting better and more unique in their sound?
Hahaha, we'd have conversation to last for days! :D
Ya hit the nail on the head with that description.
It would beat most conversations.
Glad to know I'm not some weird outlier who hears it! I appreciate your validation.
@@zombiegandhi8405 Bro, the funk on this track is easily as real as the prog. Jinjer's destined to be HUGE!
God damn that was beautiful
I swear you're on every video I watch haha. I expect a cover by this time tomorrow...or else
Simply said, sez it all. Their new shit is amazing
You are everywhere bro. How's it going home slice.
The bassist makes the ball cap and bun rock
fancy seeing you here
Restrictions spawn creativity. Vlad plays a smaller kit than their previous drummers yet he's by far the most technical and creative one they've had. Then there's the fact that Roman is now the only guitarist in the band. That has led, in my opinion, to much more interesting guitar parts that need not only to sound cool but fill up space too, which is helped by Eugene's phenomenal bass lines. Perhaps none of this makes any sense and they've just decided to change their sound for sake of experimentation, but in any case this band is fucking great and there's no denying that
I agree: that line-up is the best line-up
51 yr old musician here (bass since 1985)... I have watched Metal evolve from its very inception. From a musician's point of view, Metal kinda "stagnated" over the past 20 yrs. Discovered Jinjer 2 yrs ago and been hooked ever since. Long story short, Jinjer sets new standards with every new song. Jinjer is The Future of Metal.
I agree that Jinjer deserves every ounce of praise that you give them, but there are a decent number of bands out there that have been keeping metal interesting this past decade and definitely haven't stagnated. Shylmagoghnar, Eluveitie, Shade Empire, Wintersun, Thrawsunblat, Mistur, Ne Obliviscaris, Slugdge, Haken, Enshine, An Abstract Illusion ... just scratches the surface of my list. I'm sure everyone has their own groups that they consider to be leading the genre forward too.
Sean O'Donnell between the buried and me...
Apart from what tremapar already suggested I'd also recommend new Behemoth album, Alestorm, Gojira and also a small band called Materia and their album "We are Materia".
I recommend Entheos
I am 44 and I concur. For over a decade in a half I just gave up on new music. 2 years ago found this band and they rekindled my love for metal. Over all they are better than any band I ever cared about. I would give band Once Human a second place because they are great but not much material is put out by them.
That's some extreme jazz
Right, this song is dragging jazz kicking and screaming into the Century of the Fruitbat for sure! XD
hardy309, well they said this EP would be more progressive. And they delivered. \m/
And 20.000 more views in just 3 hours! : )
PERFECT explanation lol
That's what truly attracted me to them in the first place. Like a top-level fusion group said, "OK, we're doing death metal now." And Holy Crap, are they ever!
This is song is dope. This is how it's done. Personally I believe that JINJER is the top new metal band right now.
Periphery or veil of maya are better imho
Bro you need to listen to more Metal to even make that statement
"metal" its a joke, its just music bro
Name a dozen metal bands that are better than Jinjer and I'll probably tell you that they're not half as much fun. 😊
Shalom Avoularo. Do you think they cover every genre of metal with their music?
so stoked for Jinjer. They've finally got the recognition they deserve. Been a fan for years and it's awesome to see them reach new heights
This and Teacher, Teacher are their best compositions. Micro is their highest achievement to date as musicians IMO. Micro is progressive metal gold. Up their with Ghost Reveries (Opeth), Magma (Gojira), Leviathan (Mastodon), Sound Awake (Karnivool), Tesseract, Contortionist, etc... real prog musicians will appreciate this song and album just the same as above and honestly... Vlad's drum work is absolutely legendary on this song. Come on peeps - how can you not go bonkers as a drummer listening to this? THIS IS MASTERFUL WORK!!!!!
I completely agree
Jinjer is creating a new kind of progressive groove. Come to the states and tour longer, please!
Please!!!! And in Texas too plz!
You have your wish, sir!
it already exists and it's called djent
They NEED TO GET ON A MANDATORY TRIPLE BILL WITH DEVILDRIVER/LAMB OF GOD!!!!!🤘🤘🤘☠💀☠💀🤘🤘⚔👍
Their official website describes their sound as progressive groove metal.
This is nuts. Jinjer keeps getting better.
As long you don't bust one.
YEAH, IF YOU MUTE THEM!
Why are you even here ?
@@partgard1 I think you're the one who needs to be muted.
Better at sucking!!! Guitar rhythm doesn’t match drum rhythm. Awful!
2:53 genuinely gave me goosebumps. Damn this is good.
I was going to say that. That's some heavy stuff.
Every song for me shows its good though
This is revolutionary. They've created their own genre and its incredible
It's djent it's not there own genre js
@@tamzynholmes6804 Metalcore. Djent is their older stuff, from Cloud Factory backwards. This is very very genre-blurring work from them, which makes it extremely interesting in my opinion.
This comment was satire correct? They took djent and put their own twist on it.
@@JeffWells-lv7ge Which is essentially what I was saying. You just blew my mind by playing semantics with 3 year old RUclips comments. Totally new genre of loser that I never knew existed 🤯

Hell yeah! She's a freaking bad ass!
I swear, if it weren't Jinjer, I would never get interested in metal. This song is gorgeous and it gives me such a different energy. DAMN.
That woman is nothing but vocal chords and lungs from head to foot !!
her voice, her whole look and the way she moves...just wow
She's even more amazing live, hope I get to see them someday
I don't like her style hair u.u
@@bodhi9937 they're doing a US tour soon like later this month and November fyi!
Are they not coming near you? What country are you in?
@@msevfreak23 too bad i'm European :(
A song that is simply about evolution of a destructive human being. Love it and its intellectual basis
Yeah, intellectual for morons with a sub 10 IQ. Fixed it for you for free. 😆
@@rcg9573 You sound mad. Are you mad?
@@SirYenko_ I mean, he's not wrong. It's the kind of reflexion that the average 14 years old girl had (and probably started her emo "misanthrope" phase). I'm not trying to be insutling, but that's not really a complex or intellectual reflexion to have
I love the song and I adore Jinjer but the message "human = evil" is a 16 yo emo edgelord statement. Homo Sapiens has been existing for over 200.000 years and everything was fine until about 12.000 years ago. That means humanity was a species that lived in harmony with the rest of the planet for 188.000 years. We have a cultural problem not a species problem. And we use to euphemize that problem as "civilization".
This band is fucking beastly. Love the female fronted bands. She’s got serious pipes and character in her voice. Always fantastic musicianship from this group
We need to pay more attention to the rest of the band guys seriously they are so talented.
Damn right they are.
This band is epic! As a whole!
this band has evolved in all the right ways. That transition at 1:15 was dope.
And the transition at 2:12, and at 3:00 you listened it, yo!?
Yep, that was so smooooth
That is her special gift :))
literally, loved the descriptors in the lyrics mixed with the different "phases" of the song.
Couldn’t agree more. Sadly this was the first song of theirs I heard...and liked it. But it wasn’t until I went back and listened to the earlier stuff that I’ve fallen in love with this track. They’re at their best. Can’t wait for the new ep!!
Just want to remind everyone they're still doing an American tour this month/Nov. Go support the love of your life.
Noobalator already did buddy saw them 4 times
The love of my life doesn't come until March 2019 and I can't wait \m/
That bass player puttin in some work bruh
it's actually crazy how much I've been into metal bands with female vocals lately. So many awesome bands out there, Butcher Babies, In This Moment, Spiritbox, Otep, etc... come back to Jinjer every time, and blows me away how absolutely talented Tatiana is.
Unleash the Archers and Huntress are also great women fronted bands!
Came across them a while back and did a radio internship at my university this summer. I made sure Jinjer got airplay over the past year in #Texas
Not all heroes wear capes
Bro.... that is awesome! I'm in texas, but unfortunately I never came across them on the radio. But that is really cool that you are putting them out there man. Keep it up if possible. This band deserves the recognition.
Not all heroes wear capes. Bless you.
Was it KOOP radio?
@domtron88 ☠️ im on air at KTCU 88.7 Fort Worth. Availible on all devices
When I first listened to the song, I liked it, but wasn't blown away by it. After about ten listens however I love it, it's a definite grower.
Singing parts make this song. They really stand out.
That's what we call ear candy my friend. So many hidden surprises.
FOR REAL
"Grower, not a show-er" lol
Just discovered Jinjer not too long ago. Thoroughly impressed with the skills of the musicians as well as the unique style of songs they make. Very original kind of sound.
Police officer: what is the epileptic kid doing
Me: H E G R O O V I N
Lmao
Only thing I don't like about Vladislav (the drummer) is that I simply can't record a drum covers for Jinjer song anymore... too hard man !!!
True! He is a beast
Although the first drummer was actually way more proficient with his foot work. He blasted hard to and even though Vlad is super good. The old drummer was the only one who could play the cymbal chokes in I Speak Astronomy’s verse perfectly.
@@FanaticDrummer I agree with that but there are a songs that I can play on drums and I recorded drum cover for few songs but I feel like I will never learn to play some of Vladislav's own drumworks in songs
Vlad is great, but thats the first Song he really wrote and recorded I thought? So which other Songs are you talking about? ^^ Pisces is just live rerecorded. Did I miss something?
@@dsurbi I saw him live twice and I saw how he play, his style and his way of playing previous songs, so I already know that future songs will be very hard to play on drums haha
I'm a simple man, I see JINJER I -lick- click it
can't do both?
hes a simple man one thing at a time jeez
Haha this made me chuckle
See, that's why women in metal aren't taken seriously because of bullshit comments like this. She is bad ass, she could probably compete with a dude.
The last time I heard a voice this kick ass was when Kittie was still around.
@@gudalpesanz what, are you the fun police? Lighten up a bit. She can be bad ass and hot at the same time.
...and this is what you get when you put together 3 genius musicians and the Queen of Metal ....🤘🤘
This crazy song has 8 highly distinct movements in less than 3 1/2 minutes. I call it "heavy jazz", especially the first movement, which I didn't like at first. The song is now one of my all-time faves.
The transitions are just insanely good, & I especially enjoy the transitions from 6 to 7 & 7 to 8. Section 7, with its bluesy vocal lines & open instrumental feel coming right off of a blast beat, is my very favourite...but it's important to realize that part of the reason it's so satisfying to listen to is its position within the song.
What masterful a work of art.
"Ape" Movements:
1. The Beginning of All Beginnings (begins 0:07).
2. Voracious Ape Who Walks Upright (begins 1:01).
3. He Who Calls Himself Intelligent (begins 1:15).
4. I Made a Mistake When I Created You (begins 1:33).
5. Oh Here You Go (begins 1:43).
6. Blast (begins 2:09).
7. Just the Mention of Your Name (begins 2:22).
8. Bloodthirsty Ape Who Walks Upright (begins 2:52).
JINJER just took it to another level. Their time to rule the world 🤟🏼🤟🏼
This band is so great. They have been putting in some serious hard work, and it shows.
One of my fave songs of Jinjer
Какой бальзамчик подвезли!!! 👍 👍 👍 Jinjer, как вы лечите уставшую душу!!! Посылаю вам свои флюиды добра и любви! Творите дорогие, творите! 💋💋💋
For me, the most interesting thing about the song is the lyrics and how well they are tied up with the music. The whole song goes back and forth between two primal stances / feelings: Awe and Belittlement, or, Wonderment and Disparagement, if you will.
The Creator both fears and mocks his creation, and the way the music flows between those two marks is simply astonishing!
After listening to this song for more than 10 times, I still want to listen to it. I feel as I haven't unlocked all of its secrets yet... Mesmerizing...
Mesmerising - perfect word!
This. So much all of this. True be told, I didn't like it the first couple times and it took multiple listens. The very beginning really strikes me. The way it is played gives a false sense of structure displaying "chaos" and Tati just goes right into it I believe as the "Creator" giving order over the song while portraying both the scientific and divine aspects of our existence and final end, a threat, either by nature or divine intervention. Whole band is spot on and the lyrics are once again amazing as always!
I haven't thought about the chaotic essence of Creation as flow direction for the actual song... Shit! Nice observation!
You are so right...
It took me a while to get hooked to this song but now DAMN i feel every chord into my soul
Every song they release is gold.
Я человек простой, вижу Jinjer - ставлю лайк
Ну... Да... Железная Логика!
cant wait nov. 2021 meet and greet
they are just bringing it at a level that is just awesome..Tatiana has never sounded better and the band holy shit if these guys were any tighter they would break..and the production on this track was absolutely stellar..love how she is branching out with her clean vocals and her gutteral voice is in my mind one of the best out there..amazing how that voice can come out of such a beautifully petite woman..this was absolutely lit in every way
In the words of Sanya, from the Dresden Files: "Tiny, but *fierce*." She awes me with everything she does--hell, I even watch that Spark TV video where she does her stage makeup (she's gorgeous with and without, I think we can all agree here) for the bit at the halfway point where she busts out a little bit of gospel, and I fall in love all over again.
Every so often metal goes into the doldrums and a band comes along to reinvigorate it and take it up a notch.
Jinjer is one THOSE bands.
this song is becoming one of my favorite jinjer songs.
Best song ever ❤️
Holy shit! Jinjer nailing another awesome song ! Omg but the chorus and breakdown !!!😮it’s beautiful that high voice on chorus
Didn't expect a new song today. Made my day.
me too after a fukin hard day job shit
It’s not a good morning without your daily dose of metal
oh heeeere you gooooooo, god the groove in that part gets stuck in my head
This band has become my #1!! The musicianship, the heaviest in your face sound and the front woman! Spot on!
Just started listening to this band and didn't even know they were working on anything new. But I'm glad they're bringing new bangers!
Absolutely adore this band. Found them earlier this year and have been hooked with how unique they are. Got a chance to catch them live in the states, couldn't have been happier with the show they put on. They are kickass!
I discovered them last year with the live in the studio version of "Pisces" and was stunned like everybody else was/is. I fell madly in love with Tatiana and admired the playing abilities of the lads, as well; they're really a total package, aren't they?
@@MaskedRiderChris for sure, they were a completely random find and I fell in love with I speak astronomy right away.
Always come back to ape. I feel it’s underrated due to the fact that perennial and teacher teacher are on micro.
It takes several listens to unpack this song. I agree with you as I can't stay away from Ape. They have a live version with a "behind the band camera" that is just great.
im over a year late but yeah, you are totally right. i was gonna say micro doesn't have any bad songs, but let's be honest: do any of their albums and EPs have bad songs?
i do feel like this is underappreciated, mainly because i'm biased thanks to the amazing breakdown at 2:48 :)
I love how every song they make is so different from one another. That goes for Tati as well. You guys and gal has so damn much talent. Fucking amazing instruments and vocals.
Crazy Eyes approves of this haircut.
Pizzley Bear LOL! Now I just pictured Tati being a OITNB character
This band is literally everything! Excellent lyrics, vocals, instrumentals, style, craftsmanship. Just everything is perfect!
Can we agree that this music video was amazing? From the futuristic imagery, the camerawork, the lights and Tatiana's sick outfit!
It's like lamb of god had a baby girl, and she grew up liking heavy metal and no doubt
I'm a big LoG fan and I've loved that fact that her death vocals r so close to randys
@@palaceburner agreed
Yea definitely some of the clean vocals sound like gwen stefani at times.
It's not "No Doubt" it is exactly like Guano Apes. Listen to thier older stuff
No joke, I was thinking about the resemblance to Gwen Stephanie after hearing Beggars Dance and the end of Who's going to be the one
People ask me what type of music you listen to, I tell them Jinjer
They said music, not noise. LOL
The god damn bass guitar.....perfect
the number of me listening to this song is now in 3 digits yet I don't remember any time which I didn't get goosebumps at that massive break down.
Ух, трек огонь! Гордость берет за группу! Поскорей бы снова увидеть на сцене!
As I've often done since Macro released, going straight to "The Prophecy" as soon as this video finishes.
i love this song so much. that breakdown at 2:48 rips through me every single time, SO HEAVY i fucking love it
Greetings from Ukraine. For a long time this band was unknown and underrated here partly because of the global pop culture shitting people's minds, but they gained recognition outside Ukraine very fast. Tatiana according to her education/specialisation is a teacher of english language in elementary school. You can imagine what could have happened if the pupils made her angry... shit-bricks under each desk.
Wow, so glad they have "emerged" to the world one day. That would have been such a waste...
I would have passed if I had her teaching me. Always keeping my attention 😍
N На западе её оценили сразу, как они попали на Napalm, это на Украине некому оценить такой самородок . На Украине есть шанс выстрелить только попсе. На западе больше разной музыки и это радует, что наши таланты могут себя реализовать на западе.

Saw these guys live last night 10/28 in OKC Diamond Ballroom. Was probably the best live show ive ever seen. They played this song and 1 more new one thats not yet released. Both were amazing. Love them even more after seeing that live performance.
I hear metalcore, black metal, funk, and prog influences among many other genres. They are a new style like how Meshugguh created Djent. Tatiana and the rest of Jinjer are soooooooo good!!!! I regret not checking them out sooner. Oh and that funky metal breakdown changed my life.
