i've been to many places, but after my trip in the peruvian amazon i can comfortably say that there isn't a place more beautiful and majestic. Waking up in the morning with the wooden canoes, down the river seeing massive birds and parrots flying all around us while the sun was rising was my favourite lifetime highlight

I never visited Brazil but as I child I literally soaked up books with content about rainforests and wild living animals. I dreamed about that my whole live. Know I see all that fire all-over the world and just could cry.

As a Brazilian, it's so sad seeing our most important forest like this. And it's even worse that our government kinda dont care enough about this situation, they do the bare minimum and thinks it's ok. But most of time, they just close their eyes and pretend there's nothing happening.

I gave my gramma my bluetooth headphones with amped equilizer settings and let her listen through the Fortitude album. I first thought she was going to throw off the headphones and tell me that what she listened to was trash. After a good 20 minutes I passed the room and saw her feet going crazy, so I peaked my head in and she was headbanging and smiling. She listened to the whole album and she told me that this was the best and heaviest music she have ever listened to in her whole life. A great experience! My gramma is now a Gojira fan.

It's been nearly a decade but I am still amazed to have seen not one, but *two* different Gojira concerts with a crowd of maybe 100 people in Vermont. These guys are so dedicated to the art -- they were already playing to packed houses and giant crowds at HVY MTL, Amnesia, et al. But they still took the time to play couple gigs at small venues.
