My life for one year was like being frozen to the sofa i was a person who had every think and lost every think because of a NB and anxiety,,but now i face every think every day some times i think who put me in this hell of a place but it was me and its only me who can get me out this prison,, good luck with your amazing progress mate
Thank you for sharing this. This is exactly how it was for me, although for me it only lasted about 1.5 years before i started recovery. I couldn't imagine TEN years of it. The further I was from home, the more scared I was. I thought I'd faint if I was more than 15 mins from home. It doesn't even make sense lol For 6 months or so, I'd stay within a 15 min walk from home. I would avoid steep hills so my heart wouldn't race too much. Then I started going further and further. Now i'm in a different country - a 14 hour train ride from home! And I'm starting to dream about traveling more. It's exciting to think about, not terrifying. I'm so inspired when I see you traveling between Paris and Ireland. Every one of your videos and posts help me so much. Thank you Glen
Sorry, can I say that your cardiophobia seems me like panic. Cardiophobia is a specific phobia related to having a heart attack/ dying. However, thinking about this brings on panic, where the physical sensations ( including heart rate) of panic is being catastrophically misinterpreted as abnormal. Physical excertion may bring on a racing heart. which you misinterpret. People then avoid any excertion including walking too fast, jogging etc. ( behavioural avoidance), and avoid thinking about it ( cognitive avoidance). Both of which makes the condition worse. CBT/ exposure therapy is the NHS gold standard psychotherapy. ( Retired NHS therapist).

Good evening!
Thank you very much!
Is it the same idea having anxiety and panic around family?
Go towards what scares you. Fear only fuels the anxiety.
Dude what about cardiophobia and exercise because I cannot exercise my palpitations come back after exercise even though my heart is fine
I have the EXACT SAME THING!!!
