The Muay Thai Teep: How to Land It Every Time ruclips.net/video/BCkD3_HTHX0/видео.html Latest Teep video! (Full Version available on the KMA Online Drills & Workout Program)
Great video thank you for this! I was always taught to keep your head up when facing the opponent (eyes should be aiming for opponents clavicle area). I find it difficult however to [quickly] determine which side the kick is coming from because I then have to 1. Look down and check to see which side leg the opponent is kicking with 2. Process that to decide which leg I then need to check with 3. Look back up at the clavicle area after checking By the time all of that is done the kick has usually already happened and I am too late 😅 any tips on this? Hope that makes sense!
That makes sense and every camp teaches slight variations, it heavily depends on who taught your trainer. Coach Charles was taught to look at the waist from his teachers during his years in Thailand, he chooses to focus on that area of the body because he says he can “see everything” , also try not to think so much and let the body react! Hope this helps, thank you for watching 🤩🙏
Can you make a video about the different stances that each style likes to utilize? Similar to your video about the different guards. I like the light lead stance but also like the femur stance that Alamos taught.
I need this shit😂 i had this problem for years, probably cuz my stance is wide as hell, I'm glad I'm a big guy, cuz nost of the times i eat that shit up, but still it piss me off that u struggle to chick them
Do you recommend doing an evasive check like Jose Aldo and Charles Oliveira in Muay Thai tournaments? (They bring their heel to the glute when checking or avoiding leg kicks/calf kicks)
