I got banned from my own graduation ceremony (eighth grade graduation not high school) because my principal found out i have a history of suicide attempts and used it as an excuse to say im a threat to my rapist who i """harassed"""" and that its a reason to keep me from graduating.
All year hes been targeting me and other people who have been BEGGING administration to do something about the rapist on campus. I've been homeschooled for the past 3 weeks because he wouldnt stop pulling me out of class and my parents thought it was my fault. I dont know what to do anymore.

Omg that’s so horrible! As a fellow survivor that sounds like such an impossible situation, especially to have it so public. Honestly, I’d stick with the people who are trying to hold that administration accountable, and if possible have them tell your parents to stop blaming you for being bullied. It is not your fault you were r@ped, and it’s not your fault he is literally pulling you out of class!
Idk if the r@pist is a teacher or another student, but if a teacher he needs to be FIRED and kept away from kids. If a student, bro needs therapy and probably a home inspection. (Still responsible for their actions 100%, just that if it was caused by abuse at home that needs to end so that behavior stops being normalized.)
You might have to transfer schools if it gets worse, and idk if you have the resources for that, especially given your parents. But tbh, getting the situation known if you feel comfortable to, put public pressure on them, not just local, could work wonders. What is happening is illegal. You have a right to schooling, and having mental health issues, especially after experiencing sexual assault is 100% a natural reaction that cannot legally be used against you like this.
In the end, the best thing you can do is get some good friends to stay by your side.
And idk how your parents are, but as someone who had my parents blame me for my school trouble when it was related to SA, ableism, anxiety, and trauma…it might get better with the help of a neurodivergent affirming and trauma informed therapist, if you can get one. If your parents think you “need fixing” convincing them a therapist will help might get you the help you need to cope and survive through this, and extra advocacy for you at the school. (Since therapists can get involved with that, especially if anything like PTSD or disabilities are involved.)
They tend to care more about you and recognize things out of your control, giving you confirmation you aren’t crazy instead of blaming you for reacting to them. And be better at helping you access family therapy or talking to your parents.

I don’t work in administration or have much I can tell you but gather more survivors and people who support you, pressure your principle into taking action against this rapist, use your fellow students to create a body for your argument. These types of people don’t believe in harassment until it happens to them so keep going, keep fighting, don’t let it slip their kind for even a second. I understand that can be difficult when even your own parents don’t support you. All it takes is one s,all step to get started. From your wording it sounds as if this rapist isn’t a student and if so then contact the authorities, let them know children are in danger of this person. Good luck and wishing you all the best ❤

Bc for some reason we named it that. Apparently the name comes from words meaning slivers or chips of wood. In Middle English, it meant spoon or a chip of wood but in the languages that came before, it just meant slivers or chips of wood. Similar usage to a related Dutch word "spaan" which means a spatula or wood chip and to Scots "spon" or "spun" which means a chip of something or a shingle.
I agree that hand-eating is better than utensils for most foods though.

Felt a little left out of pride last year. I’m disabled and there were cops going. A lot of my friends went and we didn’t really do anything to celebrate pride much beyond them going, and maybe cupcakes. Just felt kinda alone. Some of them are disabled and POC, and managed to go and feel fine.
I honestly don’t know how they were able to. It wasn’t like the previous year where the cops were just on the outskirts doing traffic, they were IN the parade! I also had an almost incident with a cop at my college campus last year, while unmasking autistically, so it felt more personal to fear the cops, and I don’t think they really understood my fear beyond having to mask socially.
Just kinda put me off a bit, and I hope this year is better.

Been rewatching The Owl House, and while I used to feel some hope from it, I feel a lot more hopeless. I still enjoy watching it, and love the world and characters, I just feel like the revolutionary and community actions I see in the show used to feel attainable and now not so much.
But I still have a goal of being like Eda the Owl Lady. I like to dumpster dive/trash pick, I’m chronically ill, and hate rigid job systems/careers similar to the coven system.
I just have to focus on trying to be like my own version of Eda.

i’m thinking about making a webcomic at some point. it’s about a girl and her little sister who live in a world full of monsters. it’s one of those things that i’m planning to start out as a 4-6 panel joke-a-day format but slowly start delving more into more real themes (the monsters are representations of the protag’s flaws and fears and her little sister is actually a representation of the inner child so yeah it’s gonna be fun /half-joke)

Today I had a conversation with one of my teachers about my gender dysphoria and how my transition has helped in relieving it. It was a nice conversation, and I'm glad to have had it. She teaches human development, and shes always looking for ways to learn different human experiences. And the age of her students means if she has trans students, they usually arent medically transitioning.
I had a good time in that conversation. I hope everyone else can have a good conversation soon and feel good about themselves in their gender expression, no matter how far you are in your transition (if you are!)

I don't know a lot about this stuff, but you don't need to perfectly "fit" a label to use it. Call yourself and your relationship whatever you feel comfortable with, and if what you feel comfortable with changes over time, that's okay!
You can label your relationship as either one, depending on what you both feel most comfortable with!!! As someone who is fem-presenting nonbinary and primarily attracted to men, I personally consider any relationship I'm in to be queer since there's no "opposite gender" for me, even if me and my hypothetical partner may APPEAR straight to outsiders. However, other nonbinary people may feel differently!!! Queerness isn't linear and what you two feel comfortable labeling your relationship as may change over time. You don't have to label it at all, either 🫶 as long as you're happy with each other, that's all that matters!!!

This is the only stream I’ve ever watched (for more than 5 mins lol) and I’m so glad I was able to watch all of these wonderful creators put on a show for a wonderful cause!! Even though I wasn’t able to support financially (I’m a minor with conservative parents) I can’t wait until I am able to finally able to donate to causes I support to fight for them
