MTA IRT: NYTM Train of Many Colors and Lo-V Vintage Trains On The Run for 4/5/2024’s Yankees Event

Every year, the first game played at Yankee Stadium including the Yankees results in the New York Transit Museum hosting an event featuring the Train of Many Colors & Lo-V vintage cars.
For just $2.90 (or less, maybe) you can ride these two trains nonstop from Grand Central-42nd Street to 161st Street-Yankee Stadium with buffs and fans alike.
Here’s footage from the day featuring morning non-revenue moves to South Ferry, relay moves at and/or around 167th Street on the Jerome Avenue Line, along with the three trains from the day heading back to their original yards to be stored. Enjoy the video!
