- On May 7th 2020 I decided to have resurfacing surgery on my right hip to finally fix my bone on bone issue I been dealing with the last 3 years! The Country’s stoppage was a blessing in disguise for me in terms of allowing me to have the time to recover from this surgery and be mentally & physically ready for the upcoming 2020-2021 NBA season. I’m feeling amazing and grinding everyday! My story is far from over, THE MARATHON CONTINUES!!! 🏁🏁🏁
You made a 26 year old white dude from finland fall in love with basketball with your passion for the game, when you played for boston. My wife saw you play in the playoffs when your sister died and she said to me ”I would like to name our son Thomas” She is no fan, just liked the name, but i will always smile and remember those times when i see him.

not sure if youve payed attention to his play the last two years but he is no longer a shot creator, isaiah has a fraction of the speed and explosiveness he used to have which was why he was able to do the things he was able to with the celtics. like are you even a fan of his and yet you couldnt see he could barely run?? why would teams take a chance on a undersized player who relied on his athleticism to create shots,which he has none now . you clearly havent watched him play the last couple years or you wouldnt have made a dumb post like that

As a Cavs fan I am disappointed by how they cut short your opportunity to heal and shine just like the other franchises! On behalf of Cavs fans I apologize. I went from havin 46pt games to tearin ligaments, to havin overseas nd D1 college opportunities, to tearin both achilles now im at a D3 but i aint lettin it stop me. Good luck Isaiah. I had the same surgery on my right hip done by Dr. Su who is a great surgeon. Mine was in May 2018. I love to play basketball and was back on the court 11 months later. I wasn't in any hurry to return, since I'm not a professional. Prior to the surgery, I could not drive to the basket without great pain. All movement was painful. Since I have started playing again, I have not experienced any pain at any time. So, I know you are going to be successful in your comeback and I hope the Knicks sign you, because we need help at the pg, as I'm sure you know.
Smallest guy on the court? Maybe. Biggest heart on the court, hell yes. I hope a NBA team recognize this and give you a chance at redemption like D Rose had. Us fans will be watching.

I dont get how anybody cant have full respect and love for IT man. Still cant get over how he was traded from the celtics, playing a heroic mvp caliber season and playing in a game after his sister died. But it's a business right? so I get it. However, players get bashed on when they use their freedom to go to their team of choice, but team owners be so quick to trade players like it's nothing. Isiah has exceptional talent. With his injury finally fixed correctly, the way the game is now played would allow him to flourish.
I think he was unfairly measured after injury to his performance in 2016-17. There aren't many players who average 20+ ppg, so that expectation should not be placed on him. There are many PG currently in the league he is still better than. And oh yes, they can't defend either.
