Yuri Reyes look what he did for the Celtics. He literally played with an injured hip. He played after his sister’s death. He lost a tooth while playing. He was emotionally and physically hurt, yet played through it, to get the Celtics to as far as the ECF, and all that for the Celtics to just trade him away. Of fucking course they’ll give him a standing ovation

the part about the medical staff is very interesting
thats definitely not what the Celtics organization had in mind. Training staff probably advised IT to not play and said the final decision was up to him. He obviously played because it was the playoffs heading into the ECF finals and wanted to leave it all out there. If anyone was to blame, it would be IT.

I still love IT man. He made me have passion for watching the Celtics again. In 2013-2014 when Boston sucked, I thought there run would be over for a while. But once we got IT, I knew he would be special for us.

Glad he's getting better so quickly. I can understand the 'marathon' thoughts, because when you're injured nothing is more annoying than constantly hurting even after a few months. I've broken my fair share of bones, even have had a shoulder injury for the last 7 months. It's really inspiring seeing anybody getting better/overcoming challenges in their lives. You can just see how happy he is at the end when on the bike, he really can't wait to play again. I hope the Cavs aren't putting any pressure on him to hurry back, especially after playing so well as of late.

There is always a reason for everything, I believe in this Kid more than I believed in Kyrie, this Kid led a franchise to finish 1st in a conference and matched all through to a conference final with a hip injury. Fuckin no bad blood but Kyrie and Co without Lebron finished 10th in Eastern Conference 2013-2014 and 13th in 2012-2013 season. Go IT, I know with the King its gonna be a great comeback
