I am currently fighting the battle to graduate from college. I have this chemistry class that I just can't wrap my mind around. Watching this makes me KNOW that I have to grind and get it done. I am 5 classes away from graduating. This chemistry class is kicking my ass. I have done tutoring, online lectures, I got to class every day and I just can't seem to get it. I do everything in my power to succeed but I just can't get it :( I will keep grinding! I study 4 hours a day. I WILL get this if it kills me. Thanks ET for the motivation to keep moving. I ran away from home at 16, dropped out, joined gang. I've hit the bottom but I'm on my way up. Gonna continue to make this RUclips channel work hard, get back into class and be the man I know I should be. ET, u have no idea how much these have helped me, I have attempted suicide sooooo many times and you won't believe but I actually watched my first video of u on my way to a bridge to jump off. By the end I knew I had to give 120% before I gave up. Now it's really do or die for me cuz I won't spend the rest of my life as a statistic, it's either success or me and that bridge have a date. But don't worry I'm clear headed now and it'll take a long time b4 I reach my limit. Not gonna let my emotions get the better of me ever again;)

Don't know if I'd still be here without you ET. I've just been recently diagnosed with a severe degree of melancholia depression (major depression) so I've been to some pretty dark places... My psychologist still keeps asking how and why I am able to keep putting myself through this. Because of you I've kept fighting through, waking up at 4:00am every morning and grinding. I wasn't genetically gifted so I know what is ahead but I'm going to make it and this isn't going to stop me. Thanks E.

A shame more young kids don't come to the same conclusion - that their situation, whether they're to blame or not, can only be improved by taking personal responsibility. Life sucks, for some more than others, but nobody except the individual can make the hard, necessary choices that will ultimately lead to success and a happy life. Failure is a constantly reoccurring element of that journey, but failure teaches us how to succeed, and perseverance is the method. You don't simply get up everyday, show up to work, and hope that opportunity will find you. You force yourself each and every day to think of new ways to improve your skills and go out of your way to seek out opportunity.

I find it funny that people hit the dislike button. It takes more time to do that, then going on to something else. If you actually listened to this young man, you'd see find some oart if what he says resonates with us all. These guys are right. If you can fight your way out of the darkness, you will come out an exceptionally strong person and have the upper hand on those who didn't have to fight through such pain. Make sure you envision the success story you'd like to live every night before you go to bed and don't sleep until you can formulate such a vision. When you wake up, do the same thing. When you become doubtful or succumbed in negative thoughts, block them out and remember that vision. You'll triumph

I just finished my freshman year of college, and I'm not gonna lie, your first year of college can be tough; the new environment, and new adult responsibilities are challenging. Sometimes its hard to stay motivated and do the right things on your own. Eric Thomas does an excellent job of keeping people motivated--whether it be academically, athletically, or spiritually. This man does it well, real well.
I know you probably won't read this but Thank You. I hit a major low point of my life and I was looking in the wrong places. I projected my depression and anger onto different thing to only build up in internal hate for myself. This video made me reflect on things and cry and I haven't cried in almost two years now. I always thought tears are for the weak and I can see that the physical tears we have are our soul cleansing itself of the negativity we have. Once again Thank You.

I share some of the same things, I am from Detroit,my mother never share with me about my real father, even though I knew the truth, I choose to forgive her in my heart, which spared me the rebelliousness in my life toward my mother. I was listening to a, clip of his and he mentioned his wife had some health issues. Long story short, I am calling for a WORLDWIDE PRAYER for the healing of Mrs. Thomas. A shame more young kids don't come to the same conclusion - that their situation, whether they're to blame or not, can only be improved by taking personal responsibility. Life sucks, for some more than others, but nobody except the individual can make the hard, necessary choices that will ultimately lead to success and a happy life. Failure is a constantly reoccurring element of that journey, but failure teaches us how to succeed, and perseverance is the method. You don't simply get up everyday, show up to work, and hope that opportunity will find you. You force yourself each and every day to think of new ways to improve your skills and go out of your way to seek out opportunity.

I find it funny that people hit the dislike button. It takes more time to do that, then going on to something else. If you actually listened to this young man, you'd see find some oart if what he says resonates with us all. These guys are right. If you can fight your way out of the darkness, you will come out an exceptionally strong person and have the upper hand on those who didn't have to fight through such pain. Make sure you envision the success story you'd like to live every night before you go to bed and don't sleep until you can formulate such a vision. When you wake up, do the same thing. When you become doubtful or succumbed in negative thoughts, block them out and remember that vision. You'll triumph

I just finished my freshman year of college, and I'm not gonna lie, your first year of college can be tough; the new environment, and new adult responsibilities are challenging. Sometimes its hard to stay motivated and do the right things on your own. Eric Thomas does an excellent job of keeping people motivated--whether it be academically, athletically, or spiritually. This man does it well, real well.

I know you probably won't read this but Thank You. I hit a major low point of my life and I was looking in the wrong places. I projected my depression and anger onto different thing to only build up in internal hate for myself. This video made me reflect on things and cry and I haven't cried in almost two years now. I always thought tears are for the weak and I can see that the physical tears we have are our soul cleansing itself of the negativity we have. Once again Thank You.
