@@tehyeh tons missing + a lot of games arent light gun games, they used mounted guns as joysticks, same with a few flying shooters like star wars, the arcade hardware used joysticks not light guns
Wow that was intense! Loads of games I never knew existed especially for the wii . Thanks for the effort in putting this together (Fantastic). Looking forward to Arcade1up doing another version of The Time Crisis cabinet with a better choice of included games as well as T Crisis.
I was born in the summer of 1983 and still love playing the old retro games 😺👍🕹️. In fact, i still own and play the original hardwares of the Commodore 64 and Amiga 500 😺👍🕹️. You just got yourself a new subscriber / retro gamer from Vantaa, Finland 🇫🇮 😺👍🕹️.
Nice. Finland has revolutionary schooling, a very high happiness rate, a very low crime rate, and one of the top economies, which is capitalistic (it works extemely well, unlike American corporatism). Finland is also where the founder of the great Linux was born. Shalom.
Great video used to love the Point Blank games they really cracked me up. Got my Sinden light gun on order can't wait to replay these thanks to Batocera!
@29:58= the BEST of them all! the pinnacle of excellence of the genre, bar none! el MEJO`R de todos! la cima de la excelencia del genero, simple y llano!
One game that you forgot was Namco's "Dark Escape 4D" from 2012. It plays similarly to Deadstorm Pirates (also by Namco), with the gimmick that it also checks your heart rate, which affects the gameplay.
The Sinden light gun is giving all these games and many more a chance at a 2nd life. It was invented too late for me, as I no longer play games with IRL friends, but 10 years ago I would have gotten 2 of those bad boys right away. Back then, we had to settle for the Wii remote with the 2 RE titles, HotD ports + Overkill :/
Wish there was light guns and shooting games released nowdays last one i brought was House Of The Dead Overkill The Wii had way more then i thought im gonna have to get my Wii back out the closet
Those 90s light gun games were epic as well as some 2000s games. The Wii games are a bit bland though TBH. Nevertheless, thank you for an amazing list of these light gun games. Your work is very much appreciated 👍
What lightgun are you using? Looks like sometimes mouse, sometimes a controller. Not sure if the wiimote motion plus is still the best to use. Multiplayer has been the main struggle i've had setting up a light gun setup with modern screens.
Hi! Very cool video compilation. Great work. Where do you get your video snaps? I use a front end and I’m looking for the video snaps. Can you give me a hint or a download link for the videos please. Thanks!
Did you remember a game where in the first level you fight against skull soldiers that looks like soldiers from Vietnam and the boss level was a combat aircraft? , this game had light guns like the house of the dead, I used to play this game in 2006 more or less
Hola genio!!!
I already showed the ones from American Laser in a previous video and didn't want to repeat them. I'll leave the link here for you.: ruclips.net/video/pP56tihNOG8/видео.html
You know a arcade games that has 4 police characters i don't know the title of game, that's the game i play when I'm in the mall. I don't know if it's Time Crisis or something, the 4 characters in that game is, 1st is Police Woman, 2nd Police Man, 3rd a SWAT, 4th is like an Agent.
Half of these games are NOT "lightguns", they are actually "positional guns", the operation is totally different from one device to another. In mame we play everything with the mouse so it's the same, but in real machines things are very different.(Positional guns are essentially analog sticks mounted in a fixed location with respect to the screen. Light guns, in contrast, have no fixed a priori relationship with a display).
I have to agree with you, however, the world has moved on with Sinden, gun4ir, and other light gun systems that are preserving the format/games, etc. Mame is a classic, yes, mouse, but all light gun tech can also be mapped in that platform. Either way, we should be a celebration of game preservation!
A genre that needs a comeback, thanks!
Curse the need for a crt TV to play a lot of these games.
I'd love a dedicated plug and play lightgun only system preloaded with the majority of these games!
@@brendanroberts1310 It's only necessary for console. You have multiple working lightgun options for PC.

I think you forgot to add the Police 911 series, and elevator action and a few of the Japan arcade exclusives.
