Started really playing multiplayer this weekend. I've only played as Poland with an unspecialized deck. It's been really fun despite losing plenty of times.
GG. I can see where Blitz's advice may have thrown you off a little. It was awesome advice, but the execution was less than desirable. You had great map position, so you could afford a few mistakes. It's tough to execute a plan in real-time with help from another player, especially when its a bit out of your comfort level. I loved the constant pushing and probing. You controlled the entire game.
Its amazing how Blitzwar is able to read the game, although I must admit I am a little confused about your opponent's opener. I would have expected him to start with a ninja (for optics and counter helo drops), and he also seemed to lack units in general. I felt as if he hadn't used all of his points or something... Regarding the helo with the CV getting killed, we all make mistakes, something I would recommend is to buy CVs and wait for them to spawn to queue orders. Sometimes your atention is required elsewhere and it ends up being forgotten, but its something I do and believe its a good practice (as it sometimes prevents it from getting killed and allows to capture the zones). Also, I think it would be interesting to see live recordings (of Blitz coaching you, could learn some stuff as well)
w/t opening with a Ninja: A Ninja only has 4 Stinger-C's which, while accurate, have less range than most Pact A2A missiles. As an anti-helo piece it's basically a coin toss whether it's going to win against a Sokol as the Sokol will generally be able to fire first and both helos need two hits to down their target. Given the excessive cost of a Ninja and the fact that you can really only rely on it to trade with other AA heloes, I don't even take one in my BD deck.
@@rossvolkmann1161 The ninja isn't an anti-helo piece, it is a recon helicopter capable of taking down enemy aircraft. Besides having exceptional optics, it also has good stealth, meaning you can use it as passive spotter without (at certain times) your opponent knowing that is there. Regarding the trades against the Sokol, in reality the Ninja is very often able to get the first shot against the Sokol as, despite the sokol having the range advantage, the stealth on the ninja can allow it to get closer and only revealing itself after it fires. This happens even if you have the Salamandra nearby (I know this from experience). Regardless of the fact, you don't need to use it against the sokol, taking advantage of the optics and stealth you can quickly reposition it elsewhere. You could use it for the sectors of Golf/Charlie to counter the usual helo drops (which often aren't escorted). I respect your decision of not taking the Ninja in your deck, but this guy did, and that case it seems like a wise decision to use it :)
So as a Finn would like to explain the compound word of Erikoisrajajääkäri. Im doing this because it sounds weird when you call them Erikos. I understand though that these compound words can be complex for people who dont speak it. It is a 3 word compound word consisting of Erikois, Raja, and Jääkäri (ä like in apple). Erikois means "Special", Raja (The J makes a Y sound) means border, and Jääkäri is jaeger (infantry). So Special-Border-Jaegers. This is one of the special forces in Finland. Tough guys in real life. If I was to shorten it to refer to it like you do in the videos, i would call them Erikois (with the oi sound like a british person). I know you used to call the Eriks and it didnt sound as weird back then. Anyways good video. Love the wargame content. Some friends are new to it and are trying to learn the game, and im trying to improve too so i referred them to your videos.
It's interesting, your gameplay is usually well thought out defensive pushes; you like to take a strong line, break the enemy against it, then advance. A good methodical strategy, while he pushes blind risks somehow knowing it is a weakpoint. You're a strong player, but he reads the map like a clairvoyant. Can only wait to see you grow even better from this, and you have been! Hope Warno turns out 'cause it's pretty but love the RD games! and Dreadnoughts!
hi stealth i love your videos and i wanted to tell you do you plan on you and blitz doing a series of live coaching i think it would help me a lot and it would help alot of newbie players like me

How to win fast? Start by not painting a Z on your vehicle as that is correlated with lower fuel autonomy and low troop morale.
Its also correlated with huge increases in territorial gains and cuckolding of NATO

Blitz's advice screwed you, guy's average
He is? He's consistently ranking in the top 10-20 of players in WARNO and Wargame.
mhhh... weird. I see nothing about rushing paratroopers but without air support.

War Game displays a fictional and very unrealistic picture, where soviet technology actually works.
Its cold war era, russia's prime, and where much of the equipment is rather new for them
