To the ignorant people here that don't know the difference. These were common, orange farm pumpkins for Halloween and Thanksgiving decorations. They were not yellow pie pumpkins used to feed people. There was no wasting here, they would have soon rotted out anyway.

Fake. My dad was a Professional Pumpkin Hunter and I used to go on trips with him. Wild Pumpkins NEVER stay in line as displayed in this video. These Pumpkins are obviously domesticated and trained to stay in line.
I know your pain. I used to go with my dad too, hunting pumpkins. They are not that easy to hunt and kill. You need special skills.
The legend says one wild pumpkin can easily take down grown ass man. I am not sure what kind of pumpkins were slaughtered in this video but definitely something is not right
The worst part is that these creatures are trained to stay and be slaughtered.
You have to be ready to shoot instantly when you see them in the wilderness, if you hesitate it can kill you in seconds before they rape you. My grandfather told my dad, and dad told me this. We are all pumpkin hunters.

Are you guys parents are not feeling.
We use one one of these tractors at work for steep hills,(8 wheeler) only have the mower and snow blade attachments, but this tractor is a beast and is very impressive at what it can do
I would imagine with all that pumpkin seed now distributed, could have a good sized pumpkin crop next year.

I'm pretty sure my snow blower would have blown through the sheer pins and smoked the belt, then bent off the bracket, went under the tractor causing an over turn and ended in a mushroom cloud explosion...

I once smashed a pumpkin on the dirt and the next year had a vine, I could only imagine what 100 pumpkins thrown into a fertile farm field will produce, I hope the farmers don't mind.
It's just an alfalfa field. It gets mowed down and fed to the cows.
Can I make purée with the snowblower or do I need the mower deck?

Actually, pumpkins aren't the best for eating other than their seeds. The meat contains too much water and is difficult to make into flavorful, creamy pies like you normally see. Rather, the canned pumpkin in the stores, and the pumpkin pies you normally eat, are made out of a separate type of squash. Either way these were reject pumpkins, and the labor that would go into making them edible isn't really worth it. Finding someone to take them? Good luck. They're just going to rot anyways. Plus pumpkin smashing has been a thing for a long time. After Halloween there are even pumpkin smashing FESTIVALS. The debris from the leftover pumpkins is useful to re-seed and fertilize the ground, and wildlife enjoy eating pumpkin too!
That was very mean and nasty to kill all those nice pumpkins . Next Halloween all those pumpkins are going to come back to haunt that guy ! Or anyone else that dares to kill those nice pumpkins ..........

+ray low It turns the pumpkins into mulch which then composts and become fertilizer for the next years crop.The guy would probably do the same thing on the other side of the field to evenly disperse the mulch. I take my leaves and grass clippings out to my buddies buffalo ranch and we spread it on his fields and he plows it into the soil to help fertilize his next years hay crop to feed his buffaloes.When we're finished spreading and plowing we head up to his house for some really tasty bar-b-q buffalo burgers. Don't get any better than that.

To all the peoples who say this is a waste of food your stupid
First doing this plants the seeds of the old dead pumpkin and uses the rest of the pumpkin as fertilizer it's efficient and allows land fills to have more space ( I say dead pumpkin because it's cut from the stem and it's roots and can't grow any more)
Second you can see that on the pumpkins there are some patches where mold has formed so you probably don't want to eat a rotting pumpkin.
Third how do you know that he didn't take the surplus that a store was going to throw away he might have just replanted what was going to be thrown out .
And finally if your soooo pissed off that you just saw pumpkins "go to waste" then stop scanning you tube for this stuff and donate your own money or time to the hungry people it would actually help people .

Did you not read their descriptions? The pumpkins used were "rejects" (ie. moldy, damaged pumpkins that no one would buy). If no one's going to buy them anyway, instead of letting them rot away, why not have a little fun and crush them to bits? :D

Some places don't do that, or may the pumpkins were rotten on the inside to the extent that either very few would buy them, or the market would too more money than profit and decide to let them have it instead. Good question though.

I have got to ask, this is obviously a great pumpkin blower, but what will it do to other stuff? Perhaps I wake one morning to find I cannot leave the house because of the mounds of marshmallows, or perhaps the plague of Nik-L-Nips has once again descended upon, and completely covered our fields? Would this machine be suitable in these situations?

Wow people. . . There are millions of decorative/Jack-o-lanterns allowed to rot in the fields every fall. . . The guy helped the process along a bit. Relax! If u farmed pumpkins u would get it, hundreds of thousands of acres of edible cover crops are farmed every year too. . . Tilled under. If u dont farm, ask, dont point fingers.

+Jamal Othman Hello Jamal, thanks for your concern. We share your concern for the poor, and as a company are involved in a major project to address food security. These were left over carving pumpkins that were not food grade, and would NOT likely have been accepted by local shelters for human consumption. The farmer was grateful for the extra fertilizer on his field.
More pumpkins for next year! (snow blower became seed spreader) The only thing edible from the pumpkins were the seeds, which will grow more pumpkins for even more seeds.

Cooooool....! The heck with the "food" complainers. Pumpkins very rarely serve as food. Mainly used to be carved. If they did not get used this way they'd ROT in the fields. Many pumpkins rot in the fields yearly ! Great way to show the durability of your equipment !
These pumpkins would have been used more wisely and kindly by giving them to a horse/Donkey/Mule rescue, every year the day after Halloween I go and buy as many as I can and feed them to my donkeys till I run out. This was a waste of good food for animals.

See ventrac didn't need to do this cuz we all know that thing is a tank it has so many different uses they have brush hog attachments stump grinder attachments swivel seat attachments for hills to keep you level on up to 15 degree grades they have snow plows snow blowers and I'm pretty sure they even have attachments for the axels to change the tires from 1 per shaft to 2 tires on each shaft side so 8 tires total for max grip this thing is an absolute monster of a machine and I have yet found anything that can compare unless its heavy machinery like a skidstear or a mini excavator.
To the 2000 butthurt people who disliked this - these were not the pumpkins used to feed people. These were carving pumpkins that would've rotted anyway. Read the description every once and awhile.
