2011 Corolla key with the G stamped on the blade. - Put original key in and out of ignition 5 times. Finish with key in ignition - open & Shut the door 6 times - Remove original key, insert new key (available on ebay) - leave key for 60 secs (or until security light goes off) - After 60 secs the security light stops flashing. - Take key out - open and shut the door - take new key to locksmith to be cut. - test new key DONE. NO programmer needed. I just did these steps and it worked for me.
I received the programmer, opened the box, watched the video, followed the instructions, and within 5 minutes, my new key fob was working perfectly. I tossed it back into the box, attached the included shipping label, and within 15 minutes of removing the package from my mailbox, the job was complete and the package was ready to be picked up by the post office. The only “drawback” isn’t even a drawback: it took about a week to get my deposit money back, and they really didn’t give me a hard time about it. It would have cost me more money, including the fully refundable deposit, to have a locksmith do exactly what I did for myself. I would absolutely utilize this service again, if I ever need it

Find a good automotive locksmith and they can make another key for you without changing the ignition. Toyota dealership can too. It they say they need to change the ignition they don't know what they are doing. If the car door is unlocked and you are not in a rush we may have some info that can help you, but it might take a week or two. Help@tomskey.com

I have a key fob (remote controller for doors, trunk) without the key, and have another separate key turns car on. I want to purchase a key fob that is both a controller and turns car on. I don't have FCCID, contacted multiple Toyota dealerships in the region and they all said they don't have such information. How do you handle that? 2009 Toyota Corolla.
Hi Bill! If you’re unable to locate the FCC ID, here are a few places to check: Existing fob: Look on the back or inside the battery compartment. Driver-side door or door frame: Some vehicles display this information there. Vehicle manual: FCC ID details may be listed here. For further assistance, feel free to email us at help@tomskey.com, and we’ll be happy to help! 😊
@@TomahawkDIY I've checked under the hood, driver and passenger sides, glovebox, trunk...etc. popped out battery and snapped photos of the inner battery compartment, looked outside the fob, called five Toyota dealerships in the region...no FCC ID to be found anywhere. I purchased this 2009 Toyota Corolla a while back and first owner did not give me manual or any OEM documents. Currently, I have a key fob that has control buttons to unlock doors, trunk...etc. but the key has fallen off so fob is used to only control doors and trunk, I have another key(dot on key) that turns the car on, so I have a fob and a key that have been working for years but now the fob is getting too old and needs a replacement. Chris Biencourt 1 minute ago I used this service to program a new integrated remote/key and a non-remote key for my daughter's 2014 Corolla. As it turned out, I also had to erase lost keys in order to add two new ones as the prior owner only passed along one key and Toyota limits the total number of keys the car can remember and my daughter's car was obviously at that limit. Tom's Key's customer service helped me diagnose this and helped me erase lost keys to add the new keys. The kit was easy, videos are helpful, and service was great.
