Hi My key is different for a different year. My car key is the (4C) version and also my car is the 01' Toyota Highlander. With that being said, I got my keys at amazon for 2 keys for 14.95 plus tax & it came to 16$. Next was the 1st fun part was getting it cut. NO home Depot. No AutoZone. Didnt try Oreiley or Ace. I googled "car cut key" & I went to a locksmith place. The place charged 5$ per key I had 2. & cuz he was generous & fast I gave him 2$ tip. So together it was 16+12=28$ all together. Next I did these steps & it NEVER worked so again I googled it and I laughed cuz I never thought it would work like a GTA cheat code. So here they are -insert main key in ignition -Press accelerator (gas) pedal 5× -Press Brake Pedal 6× -remove main key & insert new fob key -Press Accelerator pedal 1× -Car emergency will flash for 1 min until no more. -Once it's all clear, your key is set & start it up.

It worked for my 2007 Highlander hybrid. My key had the "dot" mark. It didn't work the first two times. On the third try, the programming worked at the 1:45 time mark. So it takes awhile so leave the new key in there for awhile to give it time to program.

Don’t work on my 2009 Corolla manual XRS ?!? Many RUclipsr use this method but tried it many times and the programme mode don’t come on!?! Is there another sequence for my car model?
So, @Tomahawk DIY, as you can see below my first attempt worked perfectly. I decided that I would want a spare so I got another. This time though was a different story. Did it exactly as I did the first time but after 4 tries it wouldn't start it. Is there a limit on transponder keys? This would be 3 total that I have now with my original broken key. Any advice or insight would be appreciated!
Well I bought generic keys with dot to match my 08 Tacoma XRUNNER and they wouldn’t program so I bought OEM toyota transponder key blanks with dot chip to match my master key. Still wouldn’t program with this process. Had to take it to locksmith at 45 bucks a key to have them program and Walla they programmed just fine. So not all transponder keys to all Toyota’s can be programmed this way. Just some info if others are having problems.

Can't do anything with a valet key. Have to go to dealer, give them your VIN number (from sticker on the door jamb), and they will cut you a new key with the transponder built in - for $150-$200. Ace Hardware can make a transponder key copy for $70, but I think you need the master key. Check with them. From there, you can make your own keys by following video instructions.
Thanks for this video. Is there a way to program a key (and key fob if possible) without having an original? Or do I must get one first from a dealer/locksmith? I have a 2009 Sienna

Tomahawk DIY yeah I saw your video but it’s not all that cheap either since you charge almost $50 to rent your tool plus the cost of the keys and fobs. I can get a key and fob at my local Ace hardware for $75 each which is more but not by much. I’ve programmed keys and fobs easily for other vehicles with similar institutions to those in this video. It’s insane that the only way to do in for newer Toyota’s is with some expensive device.
Hi, great demo. I have to do this with a key that has the remote lock/unlock as part of the key - no seperate remote. Once you go through the transponder process, does this programme the remote function as well? Thanks.
Hi! I replaced the battery on my 1995 Toyota Celica and now it cranks, but it won't start. It's probably the anti theft or immobilizer. Any Idea how to bypass it with just the physical key? Thanks!

I can confirm its working on Hilux mk7 icon, (2015).Thanks, saved a lot of money!
I'm glad I watched the video , I just bought a replacement ECU from flagship1 and was wondering what the blank was for; guess what? I do now! Thanks.

Yup followed your instructions and it worked perfectly first try for a 2005 Matrix. Thanks.
Thanks for taking the time to do this. Ever hear if it works on a 2010 Highlander?
I tried this on a 2010 Highlander with no luck.
Very helpful. Worked perfectly. Thanks for your time
Seems there is a select few it doesn't work for. I'm one of the unlucky ones. Australian camry sportivo acv36 2006. Tried your method and the pedal method. No candy for me.😮

Great video...but did not work for my 2009 TOYOTA Taco V6 4.0L 4X4 6 SPEED.

Thank you, 2004 Lexus ES300
It worked for my 2007 Highlander hybrid. My key had the "dot" mark. It didn't work the first two times. On the third try, the programming worked at the 1:45 time mark. So it takes awhile so leave the new key in there for awhile to give it time to program.
We appreciate you sharing your great experience using our solution. In case you needed one again, you know where to find us.
This worked perfectly on a 2005 4Runner. Thanks!

Hi Mike, thanks for sharing your programming instructions. It worked on a 2005 Toyota Highlander.
This worked for my 2007 Toyota 4Runner SR5 4x4. Amazing! Thanks man!
2007 4Runner Limited - worked perfectly - THANKS!
Thank you very much. I did use the link.
Don’t work on my 2009 Corolla manual XRS ?!?
Many RUclipsr use this method but tried it many times and the programme mode don’t come on!?!
Is there another sequence for my car model?
Legend!
You the best!
Works for Yaris 2008. Thank you very much!

Worked for a 2007 Toyota Aurion. Thanks
Glad it worked! Thanks for sharing!
What if your car is already reached to the limit of number of keys you could programe and now no more key you can add , is there still a way to add the key. ???????
Hello, this is optional but you may erase old keys or keys that have been lost. Send us an email at help@tomskey.com and include your vehicle if you want to know more and so that we can assist you
Hopefully this will work on my 2001 Toyota Sequoia 4wd limited and 2005 Lexus ES330..... Both use Metal Transponder Keys.

Hi. Great video, very easy the way you explained it. My issue is I only have a valet key. What do you suggest I do at this point? Thanks. Bruce
Worked on my 2005 Highlander. Thank you very much!
Thanks for this video.
Is there a way to program a key (and key fob if possible) without having an original?
Or do I must get one first from a dealer/locksmith?
I have a 2009 Sienna
Hi there, you need a working master key to make a spare. If you lost all your keys or you have a valet key, pls reach out to us at help@tomskey.com so we can assist you.
Hi! This was real good! Any tips for a Mitsubishi Outlander 2006?
Sorry - I've never done one for a Mitsubishi
Buy a Toyota
Thanks, it was helpful😀
Amazon note says 2009 Camry transponder keys must be programmed by dealer or locksmith. Cannot be programmed by consumer.
Visit my store at TomsKey.com where you can rent equiment to program keys yourself and saved money over dealer and locksmith pricing. This video shows how. ruclips.net/video/3hPh9BD_ZMM/видео.html
Will this work on a 2010 Corolla?
You rent out separate OBD-II devices...are those just for the remotes, or do you need those for the key transponders as well?
Hi, we do sell OBD II extension cable, pls visit our website tomskey.com to find your vehicle and to know more about our products. You may also reach out to us at help@tomskey.com, tell us about your vehicle info so we can help you.
It Works,thanks
Hi, I bought one of your keys a few months ago for my 2012 Highlander. Can't seem to get the vehicle to go into programming mode. There were many videos suggest this sequence for this model as well, any suggestion?
Hi there, can you please send us an email at help@tomskey.com so we can help you properly with your concern. Thank you!
Hi, where can I get a new key on my 2002 Toyota Land Cruiser Prado and how to program it? Thank you.
i tried to follow all your SOP for few times, still not working. the security light still flashing right over 60 secs. so is there any other tips? or anything i may missout? thank u.
I tried on Camry 2011 LE but it’s not working
Can you please guide me step by step please 🙏🏻
It won't work because Toyota changed they vehicle computer. But I started a company to help you. Check out TomsKey.com
Will this procedure work on a 2016 Tundra which uses a G master key?
No, it will not. But, because I was frustrated by that for my Sienna, I started Tom's Key Company. Go to TomsKey.com and you'll find a solution for your Tundra. Here's a video on it. ruclips.net/video/txS86YONP3U/видео.html
Thanks.
No
Hi! I replaced the battery on my 1995 Toyota Celica and now it cranks, but it won't start. It's probably the anti theft or immobilizer. Any Idea how to bypass it with just the physical key? Thanks!
it no work on 2010 RAV4,you are going to updating it? thank you
Yes. See this new video:. ruclips.net/video/F3fFjTuRuSM/видео.html. And Visit our website here: tomskey.com/collections/2006-2012-rav4
Hi Tomahawk. I tried your method with a blank key with a 4D67 transponder chip on my 2004 Toyota Camry in Australia. Unfortunately it didn't work. Any ideas?? Thanks, Ian.
Sorry, I don't have any brilliant ideas. Search the internet to see if you can find something to help, so nothing you haven't already done.
very good this is called an on board procedure.
