For my work flow this is very slow. I recommend just create a multicam seq. with the main audio. If you have a music back ground you can just chop and cut as it plays. then if you want raw clips you can flatten the multi cam and lay your broll where needed. I also cut alot of my song to sentences and phrases instead of everything on the beat just looks really good IMO. but try it out. but i also shoot with an atomos ninja and edit straight from the SSD without the need for proxies as prores is just too good. there for i never have to transfer file over also. Basically I can chop the beat in the time it takes to listen to the song

dope! i tried multicam and wasn’t a fan, too much going on for the amount of scenes i like to shoot and doesn’t work well for me speed ramping. by no means is my workflow the most effective it’s just the easiest for me personally but thanks for sharing yours!

@@tinytapes2 yeah man. i shoot a ton also and been doing alot of speed ramping also. thats why once i like the chops i flatten it.
right click-multcam-flatten! and they are normal again

i shoot everything in 60 fps and then make sure i edit in a 23.976 timeline & also export at that :D
