When we were first invited to Golden Oak to view the first 3 spec homes over 10 years ago, none of us could believe how popular they would be and they were only approx $1.5M in those days for the Kimble Trace Homes! Disney have vision that few developers can even dream of and now that it's sold out, it's the most beautiful community I can show clients!
Yes definitely. The windows are always left unobscured and open to show the views on new construction homes. This home just sold and the new owners will undoubtedly install window treatments throughout. Thx!
This is one of my all time favorite GO built homes, shame the furnishings missed the mark for me. I can't imagine why they didn't stay with a more Northwestern look (muted natural colors, earthy materials) and the furnishings weren't harmonious, i e.,an Island themed bedroom? Shower Curtains? Random city subway tiles? This is one, if only time, I can say this about such a home.
That one upstairs bedroom with the bamboo and ship steering wheel looks like it has a "Swiss Family Robinson" (a Disney movie) theme. I think I even see (in the en-suite bath) a picture of the Swiss Family Robinson (looks like they are on the beach, next to a piece of driftwood).

Hi Brandon, I totally agree and if the home was outside Disney’s Golden Oak community, it would sell for less although I’ve never seen homes this upgraded inside. Size wise for sure but all the homes there are appraising for the builder prices and more. They are virtually sold out now and just a handful left.
Hi Chiming, great question! Yes the space above the garage may be utilized but not sure if the pitched roof angles would allow sufficient room to have walls tall enough for a full sized bedroom. We can certainly find out if you are interested!

The different areas will be price driven meaning some offer Estate size homes, some offer the large Four Seasons homes compared to the newest Cottages area offering smaller but highly upgraded inside with amazing architectural elevations from English to French to Farmhouse and other styles. lol, no, that’s a very pretty English garden for the residents to sit and enjoy all the different flowers and plants that bloom during the year here. There’s a park bench and residents can let their dogs run around also.

That’s an insane price for a 3400 square foot home. Does it include all food, free access to park and all rides and live in butler or maid? Tiny pool. Feels sterile. From a design point of view it has no personality. Ridiculous!

Yes none of the Custom Built homes are cheap in Golden Oak! They are selling out pretty quick now - only 14 left as of today Sunday Jan 3rd 2021
