So I absolutely cannot say who is "the best" To me their rap styles are wildly different. Like most of their songs, it depends on my mood, lol. One day I might want all that tongue technology from Suga in Cypher 2, the next day I want straight up don't take a breath bars from RM in Joke, and then top it off with JHope creeping on the beat in Cypher 4 😂

RM can rap aggressively, quickly, and with lyrical wordplay that I haven't heard from American rappers in a long time, but he also changed his style drastically from his mixtape 'RM' to melodic rap in his playlist 'Mono.' Suga raps aggressively, usually has the quick verses and is very blunt with his words. His style has changed some from his mixtape 'Agust D' to 'D-2' with him even stating that he couldn't replicate his desire and aggressiveness in 'Agust D.' J-Hope is a whole new ball game, he didn't start out like the others so over the years with drastic improvement he found the style that works for him. He does something the others do, but J-hope can do it better and that is the changing of his flow. He can rap fast, but his niche is the ability to change his flow very quickly and set it to a different tempo in the song. He also is a sub-vocalist, he can sing fairly well especially if he decided to work on it, this adds a variety to his rap. Cyphers 1-4 and the cypher medley live performance will explain everything on what I mentioned. All are incredible with a different approach.

When I was struggling with school because I just couldn't keep up with anything anymore, their songs "no more dream" or "n.o" were what I needed the most. After struggling with depression suga came to my rescue with his song "so far away". And when I feel like I can't love myself or I I feel alone then I listen to magic shop or to love myself. If I want to feel empowered then I listen to not today or to fire. Honestly, every song of them will help you in any situation. I love them like my family because they were honestly helping me and I hope they know that.💜

I love that u pointed out that they are actually saying something with their lyrics, because that’s one of the driving forces of why they are so huge. They stand for something! A good example of this is the song ‘Butterfly’. It’s a ballad, & most people take the lyrics as a typical love song, but if u read the lyrics with the idea that it is about mental health (suicide), it changes everything about how u view the song. Now, they have their flex songs like ‘Mic Drop’, but also songs that are making fun of the obsessive behavior or their fans, or wastefulness of the younger generation due to lack of valuable opportunity, like ‘Go Go’. For the most part, their music generally speaks to something specific; oppressive society, generational divide, mental health, self acceptance, & songs wrote as fan appreciation. And they have quite an extensive discography. If u dive in, u will also notice that their sound is vastly eclectic. They have the ability to not box themselves into a specific genre of music or sound. There is hip hop, r&b, rock, pop, EDM, etc.

Would love to see more reactions to BTS of you!! You guys seem really open minded, funny and still intelligent and deep :) BTS really speak about deep stuff like depression, encouragement, self love but also about the school system in korea (older songs like NO) and much more. They express their own feelings and what they are going through so that we can understand them and it makes us all feel connected even more because everybody feels the same things at one point in life and we all experience many similar situations. Thats why we love them and why BTS and ARMY show our love for each other like no other artist and fandom.

To sum up: Cypher 2 was a diss towards a rapper, B-Free, who essentially called them "gay" and "girly" for becoming idols, since Suga and RM were underground rappers before. J-Hope was an underground dancer who was considered a legend in the dance community. For me, Suga's verse killed it. He made Cypher 2 his bitch. Cypher 3 wasn't really a diss, but moreso a brag? Anyways, there's not much to say about this one, but RM killed it here. Probably my favorite cypher. Cypher 4 was a huge diss in a way that's unlikely. Basically, it was a diss in the way that they saw themselves as so much better than their haters that they felt no need to talk shit. Their achievements spoke more than words could. Personally, J-Hope had the best verse here. ***Note that because J-Hope hadn't been affiliated with any rap position previously, he had to relearn everything. Meaning, his style changes every Cypher released, but he manages to keep along the "trap" tone. In summary, he's still learning, and English translations of his lyrics may come off a bit weird. RM, or Namjoon, is the power behind their rap. His lyrical abilities are absolutely A grade. He is one to use more "poetry-like" rapping compared to the others. Namjoon uses metaphors, similes, common Korean sayings, etc as a way of getting his point across. Essentially, he's a genius. Suga, or Yoongi, is the emotion behind their rap. His rapping style is a straight up style. "Fuck you." Y'know? He takes no bullshit, and gives none either. If he doesn't like you, he'll tell you. On top of that, he gets real in his songs. Yoongi has talked about depression, suicidal thoughts, self-esteem issues, etc. He's a man of truth. Finally, J-Hope, or Hoseok, is the flow behind their rap. His style is very trap-like and gets everyone hyped. He has this kinda tone and voice that has everyone bopping to it lmao. Hoseok's flow is hella clean and fun. He hasn't been rapping long though, which is why some lyrics may come off as a bit odd due to him focusing mainly on Korean sayings which never really translate well into English. Actually if u curious.. everyone in raplin has his own charm.. for ex: -Namjoon ( RM ) : Known for his genius lyrics he uses his intelligence in rap and wordplay. - Yoongi ( Suga ) : known for his togue technology, he has incredible rap speed. - Hoseok ( J-hope ): He got the flow, he can turn the rap fire just by his unique style and flow 🔥
So as for the best it depends on who’s style do you personally like. Their styles are all so different. RM and Suga were underground rappers and got a lot of s*** for staying with BTS (which was originally supposed to be a rap group not an idol group) J-Hope was a street dancer and didn’t rap until he joined Bighit(their company) and he learned more from both RM and Suga......btw they have a song called Fire 😂 and a song called Dope.

BTS has 4 Vocal Line and 3 Rap Line. If you watch many of their MVs and Solos you can see what they good at it. When they sing together you can feel that there's no competition at all. That makes them the best group. The flow of their songs and messages are great. Also they are not just a group but brothers, they support each other. 💜
They eacH have such different amazing styles of rap where us Armies literally love each of them on the same level. No one is above one another and it is personally up to you whatever style you like. It’s a ballad, & most people take the lyrics as a typical love song, but if u read the lyrics with the idea that it is about mental health (suicide), it changes everything about how u view the song. Now, they have their flex songs like ‘Mic Drop’, but also songs that are making fun of the obsessive behavior or their fans, or wastefulness of the younger generation due to lack of valuable opportunity, like ‘Go Go’. For the most part, their music generally speaks to something specific; oppressive society, generational divide, mental health, self acceptance, & songs wrote as fan appreciation. And they have quite an extensive discography. If u dive in, u will also notice that their sound is vastly eclectic. They have the ability to not box themselves into a specific genre of music or sound. There is hip hop, r&b, rock, pop, EDM, etc.
The lyrics for this song are AMAZING. UGH Explained by a Korean by DKDKTV is an awesome video to check out the meaning of this song :) glad to see y'all vibing so hard to this! I cant choose bw the 3 rappers tbh, they all go hard and each have different styles: RM with crazy wordplay, Suga is cutthroat af, and JHope changes his flow like water every other bar (they all do, tbh haha 😂).

BTS really speak about deep stuff like depression, encouragement, self love but also about the school system in korea (older songs like NO) and much more. They express their own feelings and what they are going through so that we can understand them and it makes us all feel connected even more because everybody feels the same things at one point in life and we all experience many similar situations. Thats why we love them and why BTS and ARMY show our love for each other like no other artist and fandom.
Please react to their cyphers 2-4! To sum up:
Cypher 2 was a diss towards a rapper, B-Free, who essentially called them "gay" and "girly" for becoming idols, since Suga and RM were underground rappers before. J-Hope was an underground dancer who was considered a legend in the dance community. For me, Suga's verse killed it. He made Cypher 2 his bitch.
Cypher 3 wasn't really a diss, but moreso a brag? Anyways, there's not much to say about this one, but RM killed it here. Probably my favorite cypher.
Cypher 4 was a huge diss in a way that's unlikely. Basically, it was a diss in the way that they saw themselves as so much better than their haters that they felt no need to talk shit. Their achievements spoke more than words could. Personally, J-Hope had the best verse here. ***Note that because J-Hope hadn't been affiliated with any rap position previously, he had to relearn everything. Meaning, his style changes every Cypher released, but he manages to keep along the "trap" tone. In summary, he's still learning, and English translations of his lyrics may come off a bit weird.
RM, or Namjoon, is the power behind their rap. His lyrical abilities are absolutely A grade. He is one to use more "poetry-like" rapping compared to the others. Namjoon uses metaphors, similes, common Korean sayings, etc as a way of getting his point across. Essentially, he's a genius.
Suga, or Yoongi, is the emotion behind their rap. His rapping style is a straight up style. "Fuck you." Y'know? He takes no bullshit, and gives none either. If he doesn't like you, he'll tell you. On top of that, he gets real in his songs. Yoongi has talked about depression, suicidal thoughts, self-esteem issues, etc. He's a man of truth.
Finally, J-Hope, or Hoseok, is the flow behind their rap. His style is very trap-like and gets everyone hyped. He has this kinda tone and voice that has everyone bopping to it lmao. Hoseok's flow is hella clean and fun. He hasn't been rapping long though, which is why some lyrics may come off as a bit odd due to him focusing mainly on Korean sayings which never really translate well into English.

So as for the best it depends on who’s style do you personally like. Their styles are all so different. RM and Suga were underground rappers and got a lot of s*** for staying with BTS (which was originally supposed to be a rap group not an idol group) J-Hope was a street dancer and didn’t rap until he joined Bighit(their company) and he learned more from both RM and Suga......btw they have a song called Fire 😂 and a song called Dope.
There is no comparison with ALL MEMBERS of BTS, they are all masters of their craft, and the group itself is the masterpiece. 👏🏼💛

BTS has 4 Vocal Line and 3 Rap Line. If you watch many of their MVs and Solos you can see what they good at it. When they sing together you can feel that there's no competition at all. That makes them the best group. The flow of their songs and messages are great. Also they are not just a group but brothers, they support each other. 💜

My bias for sure is Jhope... hes just the most versatile out of BTS but as for "the best" im not sure we can really answer that. I always look at them like this: RM is the precision, the brains, the word play, the genius and a super distinctive tone. Suga is the passion, the raw, the blunt, hella quick verses and the unbridled and Jhope is the flow, the soul, the beat, the unpredictable, the vibe and the absolute swag.
