Metro Transit Police are responsible for providing policing of King County Metro's bus system and routes throughout the county. From county line to county line, we cover anywhere that transit goes.
This specialized police contract partner offers a unique opportunity for deputies in that they can be a very proactive team and focus on a variety of services. Some of these services include providing a visible presence to deter crime, the Bicycle Emphasis Enforcement Squad (BEES), and Transit Resource Officers.
