Great builds, once I hit MR 100 I'm totally building that last one. I wanted to add in my personal favorite SnS build, a Status Trigger themed build. -Lunatic Rose Sword and Shield, Augmented for Attack -Golden Lunehelm (decos: 1 Tenderizer and 1 Critical) -Espinas Muscle (deco: 1 Evasion+) -Lambent Wristrays (decos: 1 Critical and 1 Bladescale) -Rathalos Coil X (deco: 1 Bladescale) -Espinas Heel (decos: 1 Jumping+ and 1 Brace) -Any Tali that can give Weakness Exploit Level 2 Its a super fun, and powerful, set focused on evading attacks to apply poison constanly while also getting a big boost from it, and the 3 Levels of Bladescale Hone make itnso you almost never leave White Sharpness. It can totally use some adjustments, especially with Title Update 2 out now, but it still works wonders.
I've been slowly turning into a jack of all trades for Sunbreak and this is a much appreciated guide for me to start making an SnS build for the first time! 🙏 Thank you so much!
These videos are great, and I love the focus on comfy builds. Meta is cool and all, but I'm not particularly good at the game so I tend to lean towards comfy builds a lot. I'm picking up the IG now and running a build based on one of your SA ones, with the obvious changes to adapt it. Very nice stuff

@@YokaiNox Here's what I'm using right now, in case it helps with inspiration for a super comfy IG: rathalos helm X, Archfiend chest, Golden rath gloves, Malzeno waist and boots. I have a nice charm (divine blessing 3, evade window 2, 2-1 slots), and am using the staff of laertes for the defense boost, good slots and blast. Powder blast bug for the big bug blast too. Decos I have sharp 4 x1 and 2 x1, enhancer 4 x1, evasion 4 x1, attack 2 X2, jumping 2 x1, tenderizer 2 x1, cornerstone 1 x4, grinder 1 x2, brace x1. This results in attack +5, defiance +4, evade window +4, WEx +3, protective polish +3, divine blessing +3, speed sharpening +2, crit boost +2, power prolonger +2, partbreaker +2, blood rite +2, chain crit +2, evade extender +1. With qurio crafting I got the last defiance, speed sharp, spiritbird call and 1 agitator. I didn't plan on the divine blessing here, so can drop that and simply have a decent charm to replace any of the skills here. Super happy with it, and making IG a blast (heh)
Into the Sinister Grudge Garb (Chest Piece). It has a Lv 4 slot for the Deco. Careful not to confuse this Armor Piece with the regular Mangamalo Chest!
Hi Yokai! I’m crafting all the pieces I need to make all these builds! I have a question on Sky Breaker… is a level 4 deco missing on screen at 7:00? What decoration is it?

Yup, sadly one of the Lv 4 Slots is just used for a Lv 2 Deco at this point since we dont have anything of more efficient value for this particular setup. But with Augmenting that can ofc change for you! (My augmented version looks different aswell). Hoping we get some more good Lv 4 Decos with the next upgrade.

No problem. Is there a specific Weapon you would like to know how to get? Because i dont want to spoil any new monsters for you, depending on how far you are in the game.
@@reynermontero1067 The one used for the Skybreaker Build is the Valstrax Sns, wich you unlock by beating him. The one for The Lockdown is the Insect Sns. You only need parts from the Bug minions for that one to unlock.
Do people not use evade extender? I am new to Monster hunter, but since started using evade extender i did so much better in the game. If i remove it now i feel like i get slapped from every monsters move :(
Alot of us definitely use Evade Extender with Sns :) It's just more of a complementairy Skill or one to be addet to Sns Builds based on personal preference. If you find that it helps you with staying in the fight, definitely use it ! ^_^
The ninja sword is not very good in master rank, but if you want to get the most out of it I’d start with crit boost and weakness exploit to take max advantage of its innate 100% affinity, max out attack boost and use an attack curio upgrade, then add in other skills that you like, no crit eye needed
Sadly the Ninja SNS is realy bad now in Sunbreak.. But if you want to use it here's what i would probabbly do. ARMOR PIECES: Head - Gold Rathian (for the Chain Crit + Slots) / Or Guild Palace Head Piece Chest - Gaismagorm Arms - Barroth Waist - Rathalos Legs - Garangolm SKILLS: Start with maxing out Crit Boost & ATK Boost. Then Offensive Guard if you use Shoryugeki, Slugger, Wirebug Whisperer, Stamina Thief, and if you still have room after that you can add whatever else you like. TALISMAN: Would likely be something with ATK Boost + Slots or Wirebug Whisperer with Slots. If you dont have any like that try a 3-2-1 Slot Talisman.
If used the right set of Armor, you could run Adrenaline Rush Element Exploit and Chain Crit all together tbh, for a lot more damage possible. That's what I'm currently running with all my elemental SnS
Yup, in theory that's a very good setup! However when doing the math it looks a bit different.. Adrenaline Rush is a great Skill, but not realy suited for optimal DPS playstyle with SNS. Cause with SNS the highest DPS playstyle envolves heavy use of Shoryugeki. Wich is kinda were the confliction happens. We actually get significantly more DMG over time out of countering hits with Shoryugeki with Wirebug Whisperer + Offensive Guard, than we would from using Adrenaline Rush to get a boost from evading attacks. But i like both playstyles regardless 👍🏽 Evasion SNS sets are also super fun to use aswell. If your Talisman allows you to use both, then that's great ofc !👌🏽
You might have gotten something mixed up there. The Skill that is only worth using on Fire Element Builds for SNS right now is "Element Exploit". And that's due to Armor Piece & Skill efficiency. The Silver Rathalos Chest is the best Piece for Element Exploit, but in most cases we have a more valuable Chest Piece for SNS Builds, in terms of Damage potential. For Fire Element however The Silver Rathalos Chest comes out ontop because it has built-in Fire Attack + 3 (wich is useless for any other Element ofc). About Crit Element: Sadly the skill is just super weak right now in general! So unless it comes with an Armor Piece you were using anyway, dont go out of your way to get it into a build! With the exception of cases were you just have additional free Slots after getting everything else you want/need. Hope this clears things up 😊
Depends on how you use it. Paralysis SNS is mainly used as lockdown support for Para + KO. Not so much for high end damage. For Para only there are defenitely far better options than SNS.

That last set can also make for a pretty potent status build if you switch out the helms for gold rathian. You gain chain crit too

2:10 where are you slotting Defense 4?
Into the Sinister Grudge Garb (Chest Piece).
It has a Lv 4 slot for the Deco.
Careful not to confuse this Armor Piece with the regular Mangamalo Chest!
I switch the chest piece to final boss chest for the raw build. I am not MR100 so I am using kamura sns until I can get scorned magma.

The only Lv 4 Deco in that Build is the Wirebug +4. There shouldnt be anything missing 🤔

how do i get the Mastery jewel 4 ?
You unlock it by fighting new afflicted monsters, so if you cant see the Decoration yet, check wich afflicted monsters you havent fought yet.

Idk paralysis sns just seems kinda dogshit even in multiplayer. Paralysis barely lasts any time at all and your damage is not very good
