    It would be real nice if you can make a video lesson on yngwie trademark HABITS like 30 yngwie habits he does often besides diminished arpeggios. After studying all his guitar solos from all his albums maybe you can pick out the HABITS he does often like scale runs, scale note sequencing, etc. In the 80's and early 90's yngwie would do certain scale runs in harmonic minor that are shredding scale runs. Think about doing a video like this would help out a lot.

    • @chasingfrets
      @chasingfrets  3 года назад

      I'll probably do a video of that nature, but in a nutshell I'd say that combining different techniques within the same lick is the most important thing to implement ( economy picking, then that 'pick-pick-pull of ' thing he does when tackling descending 3 notes per string , legato for turn-around passages, relatively loose grip on the pick for easier switching strings especially when playing ascending licks across several strings ).Many people think it's all alter. picked or whatever which makes the licks so much harder to play, and in reality he's constantly mixing it up. As far as his habits I feel like he has maybe 10 or so signature licks that are corner stone of his style. Anyway thanks for suggestion I'll consider it when I find the time, cheers!

      @@chasingfrets yes all that you mentioned you can show his trademark picking HABITS. I will send you a video I found of how yngwie picks its like making clothes needing you move your thumb back and forth by shredding the guitar string which is called Needing

      @@JohnProph Man you have a good ear, I see what you mean, I just remanded my self with some 80's Stryper tunes they do have a similar thing going on with the vocals, that 80's school of metal both playing and singing - you can't beat it, love it!
