Urine pH can be a valuable measurement for other things, but yeah, it has no correlation whatsoever to blood ph. Good advice, the craze for alkalinity products Especially alkaline water is a real fad and very misleading. Too alkaline is just as bad as too acidic. The digestive system is dependent on the pH of the urine. Too acidic, digestion is too fast and we do not pick up the nutrient from our food and this is usually reflected in loose bowels. Too alkaline and the digestive speed is too slow, thus causes fermentation and other problems around congestion and poor assimilation and usually reflected in constipation.

    (Hi TC Hale…love your bow tie on your Amazon picture! What a cute little boy you were!) I’m sort of confused how this would relate to what my Dr would call metabolic acidosis or metabolic alkalosis? I’ve been eating way too much meat and have oxalate issues so Dr says I’m in metabolic acidosis. Are they related? Love your content!

    My fitbit measures this while I sleep. Ranges back and forth between 13 and 14, one time in the last year it went to 12. However when awake every single time I have gone to the Dr in the past 3 years it was 16. I see some 18's mixed in there 3 years ago but before that mostly 16's as well. So does this mean it thinks I need more acidity while I sleep or it is just naturally going to be lower as heart rate drops when you sleep? Last night it was 13, with a lowest heart rate of 54 and average resting of 64. 8 hrs 21 mins sleep with a sleep score of 88. I am 55 . ps I am in process of taking your course. Very informative !

    • @KickItNaturally
      @KickItNaturally  Год назад

      I don't know how accurately a fitbit tracks breath rate, but a range from 13 to 18 is all in a good range. It would make sense if breath rate changed a bit while sleeping as well. Let us know how it goes with the course.

    Which is magnesium bicarbonate help, acidosis or alkanosis?

    • @KickItNaturally
      @KickItNaturally  Год назад

      I don't use magnesium bicarbonate or calcium bicarbonate because they can alkalize the stomach and reduce digestion. But magnesium bicarbonate would be on the alkaline side. So if a person felt like they needed to use it, they would just want to take it away from food.

I have been more tired lately--eating a little more meat protein than usual; sore muscles, leg cramps, apnea. Feeling like I'm not getting enough oxygen. My breath rate is about 10. Can the increased meat protein being causing my lack of energy? I typically eat more complex carbs but trying to work on burning fat more efficiently. I have a slow breath rate of only 12 breaths per minute, and I'd therefore like to know some different ways to acidify the blood. I think I saw in one of your videos that drinking carbonated water is one option since it introduces CO2 to your body which the body then uses to acidify the blood. What other options and tricks can be used to help acidify the blood? (And thanks for all your useful and helpful videos!!)

    • @KickItNaturally
      @KickItNaturally  Год назад +1

      Hey Kevin. The appendix in my book goes into more detail for an alkaline imbalance and you can get that book for free here: kickitnaturally.com/free
      But the carbonated water seems to be the most effective step for those working on their own. If you work with a bio-individuality coach, there are more advanced supplements that can speed things up for that imbalance, but those supplements are only available through a coach and are not available to the public. Let us know how it goes.
