You're soo right Mr. Stefan train lancu👍😉. I love the doors, it give me peace and yoy. From which country are you coming from? I am from Germany. Keep on rocking 🎶🎶😊😉🤘🤘🦋🏵️🦗
Love hides in the strangest places. Love hides in familiar faces. Love comes when you least expect it. Love hides in narrow corners. Love comes to those who seek it. Love hides inside the rainbow. Love hides in molecular structures. Love is the answer.
I remember when this album came out, nothing like blasting this through giant floor woofers from vinyl. Im just young enough to have missed seeing them live. I was a child growing up in New Haven county when they busted Jim at the coliseum. I was turned on to the doors when LA woman came out. Heavily influenced my life to this day. Now I find myself living in Florida about 10 miles away from the house Jim grew up in. I heard back in the day there was an outdoor concert with the doors headlining and a new band opening for them, Led Zeppelin, God I wish I could have been there, I would decay into dust in my chair right now and have no regrets. You newbies dont know how great it was to see these guys of that time bang out the greatest music, raw and unprocessed through limited equipment. Im just glad I was raised on them.
All the bests are on Absolutely Live. The best Backdoor Man, the best Alabama Song, the best Five To One, the best Break On Through, the best Soul Kitchen and best of all, the best When The Music's Over.
I love the Doors man, everyone should listen to this shit, I honestly think everyone on planet earth has got the potential to enjoy the doors if given the chance. Best band ever end of.
This performance by The Doors is 40+ years old, yet it seems so amazingly fresh. Especially Five To One's version, which is stunningly powerful yet nuanced, a true rebel yell!
the most primal, animalistic scream i've ever heard come out the mouth of anyone. plus, 3:40-4:14 the most insane solo is played with 2 fingernails AKA robby kreiger. the most badass band period
That scream! First heard this medley when I was about 12 and the scream sent shivers then as it still does now. One of the best screams in all of rock and roll (between Alabama Song and Backdoor Man).
oldnewbie47 I remember when the movie came out,I was 18,and about ten of us went to a small theater and smoked weed the whole time and passed a bottle of whiskey around. It was great! And the scream is iconic.
The moment and time and only his voice and soul could achieve killing everyone in the audience and everyone who listened to it second hand. He was the best.
It's more of a "demonic entity moaning in anguish" type of yell that starts the backdoor man live in London version, and after the solo we get a real nice "demon laughter followed by a sensual "Yeahhh".. Then we got this version on the Absolutely live album, With that yell at the start of backdoor man, that I personally think is the best yell so far in all of rock n' roll... It's like of someone's mind snapping and the only signal that the brain can send out is for that primal scream to come out. Lol! But my personal favorite, is the live version from Pittsburgh. No demon, or insane yell at the start of backdoor man, but instead just a raw, John beats drum, and Robbie chops an electric first note, It's almost like a power electrical shortage, and the feel on that version is more bluesy, and hipnotic... this version here is more rock, but either way, I fckn luv TheDoors.....
i was listening to this on the boardwalk in ocean city maryland one time and that scream scared the crap out of everybody who was around me! great song though!
Oh yeah that scream ! Some people like to do air guitar , air drums etc but man i really like to do this lip sync with that scream since I cant scream like that . I wish I could!
the scream at 1:50 always gets several plays out of me...from dropping the needle, to rewinding the tape to rewinding CD and now to scrolling back on utube
The Philharmonic Orchestra makes my eyes water,my bones shiver, and Tim skin tickle. Jim wasnt a rock star,he was a shaman. There will never be another one like Jim Morrison.
I don't understand why people unlike this. I mean yeah I don't like some tips of music but I never disliked a dubstep video or shit that I don't like. I just don't go there and that's it. if watch this video it means you are somewhat fond of what those folks are doing so why unlike it ?
I can't also understand how someone dislike this... 😞. I have the same great picture of Jim in my Handy on the startline👍😂. Greetings from Germany 😊👌🤘🎶🤗🏵️✌️🌈

Wish I can scream like that. Good way to relieve stress.
greatest scream of all time 1:51 I still luv you Jim
Take notes youngsters, this is how it's done!
There are youngsters out there, they will never get realized though because it's not part of the sheep mentality.

"Love hides in molecular structures." Hits me right between the eyes everytime. Even in subatomic particles love exists.
Raw/Honest/Original American Rock

After what happened in Miami, you gotta give Morrison credit for tightening the live performances up a couple of notches
best group of songs put together live…EVER!
A true American poet.Unlike Marilyn mansion, and alice cooper,Jim was the real deal.He said, hear it is folks, seeya later!
Scott Mcclure alice cooper stole a lot of ideas from the doors
Alice used to hang out with these guys. He is a great song writer and entertainer. But nobody compares to Jim
i was listening to this on the boardwalk in ocean city maryland one time and that scream scared the crap out of everybody who was around me! great song though!

The brighter the star, the faster it burns out. RIP Jim Morrison, the Lizard King.

This was one Wicked show!
the scream at 1:50 always gets several plays out of me...from dropping the needle, to rewinding the tape to rewinding CD and now to scrolling back on utube
The Philharmonic Orchestra makes my eyes water,my bones shiver, and Tim skin tickle. Jim wasnt a rock star,he was a shaman. There will never be another one like Jim Morrison.
Jim scream in Five To One and the scream in Won't Get Fooled Again by Roger Daltrey are the best in rock history.
Man they were on fire this night
