Red Bird will always be my favorite goose song just such a perfect song to me.
Trey’s solo here has the sound of a man that has been through a lot. He has felt pain, but he has survived
he has I don;t know another person who truly did the positive 180 like him in public eye and just helps. Humility encapsulated great of you to point out. Especially considering there were times I thought he was onto some other wavelength. I love Pat metheney (lot of the alternate picking slickness similar), wes montgomery, jumior kimbrough, Frisell, and now Julian Lage but with them its and instrument in there hands with trey or rick, jerry its like the cable to the amp goes into him at moments. Eyes up channeling...being an open channel sure but its more.... everyone who saw it knows. Theme from the bottom germany, or bold as love in Paris 2 of thousands. Rick is same style its so awesome....sorry to ramble :)

I went to 4 shows and have decided to go to one more, can not get enough. This tour is special on many levels, get feeling that this band is about to get much bigger. Really enjoy the original Goose Music, they have their own sound. Rick has Great chops and better voice to boot. Trey is so incredibly kind and humble man. It is so Cool

The jam has a Theme From The Bottom vibe!
That theme from Germany 97 like bold as love Paris France 97 two of all time favs are short because they are jams that are so lyrical and lovely could be album cut. Feel like that's one thing he mixes so well with these guys on. Harmonizing , and finding a motif so quick 40 years, guy does 12straight msg shows with phish no repeats, learns 100songs for dead fare the well in month. Oyster head, tab, albums with Dave Matthews and Derek trucks, now learning gooses songs rick's youthful enthusiasm whole band really just obviously fuels him he's so excited thoroughly nice to see hear. very efficient getting in and out of sections.
This show was epic for me. I especially remember this Red Bird how tight they all played together.
I love how Trey takes this song by the bowels and pulls them down in the darkness of so many phish-esque jams... and they fucking thrive there.
Alot of jam bands come and go but few have been able to put something together like this. I just got into goose a year or so ago when I first heard of them and I really hope to see them jamming 15+ years from now I hope phish never hangs it up but when they do Id really like to see goose carry the flame 🔥.

Beautiful to hear Trey and Rick synch. It has that Allman Brothers vibe but also highlights how in tune they have become with each others playing. Not sure Trey has felt this comfortable with another lead since Jeff Holdsworth....although I may spark some debate here.
