  • This is a gluten free, eggless, vegan steamed rice cake (Huat Kueh). Made with dark brown sugar, white rice and coconut milk using instant yeast method, an easy and foolproof recipe for all.
    Mould size: 165 mm x 50 mm
    Ingredients 材料:
    60 g (1/3 cup) white rice (cooked, cold) 白饭(冷)
    80 g (1/2 cup) dark brown sugar 黑糖
    150 ml (2/3 cup) coconut milk 椰浆
    150 ml (2/3 cup) water 清水
    150 g (1,1/4 cup) rice flour (Rice 100%) 粘米粉(大米100%)
    1 tsp (3 g ) instant yeast 速发酵母
    Steam over high heat for 25 minutes
