They were born to sing together. They started singing when Barry the oldest brother was 9 years old and Robin and Maurice who were twins were 6 years old. Barry and Robin shared leads. They not only sang exceptionally well and had the best three part harmonies, they also played instruments. They wrote all their own music and also for other top artists. They wrote over 1000+ songs and produced their own records and for other artists. They are regarded as one of the most Important and influential acts in pop-music history. Please react to LOVE YOU INSIDE OUT thank you. ❤❤❤❤

They are brothers. Barry (beard), Robin (middle), Maurice. They stayed together until Maurice passed. Robin has passed now, too, so only Barry remains. I have read that they rarely played Fanny live because the instrumentation was so complicated. LOVE IT! ❤

All three brothers had their own unique falsetto's, baritone chest voices, and everything in-between, & were also able to slide up and down with ease!!! IMO, they are the most talented group, & exceptional singers of all time! *They were such a wonderful gift to the music industry & our ears* 💝💝💝

All three of them had (have) distinct voices. Often melted together like one sound. The powerful part on 'Cause it's all that I've got......' is dominated by Barry. Ifya wanna know more about their different leads, check out the tracks 'Words' (Barry), 'I Started A Joke' (Robin) and 'Lay It On Me' (Maurice). Best chance to hear them singing live is the medley on their 'One For All' tour in Melbourne, 1989.

These Brothers Gibb all played instruments and wrote their own songs since Barry was 9, then joined by his other brothers when they were 9 or 10 (naturally-- no formal education-- all three brothers dropped out of school at 13 and 15 to make their living for their family-- Dad Hugh, Mom Barbara, oldest sister Lesley, and fourth brother Andy). Baby brother Andy was 12 years younger than Barry. Andy also played guitar and wrote songs, enjoyed Three #1's in a row as a solo artist. Andy was co-produced by brother Barry and the legendary duo Karl Richardson and Albhy Galuten. Barry co-wrote Andy's hits with him and Robin. His brothers sang backup for baby brother, too. It was a family affair. They were close.

Wrote over 1000 songs. Jive Talking, Nights on Broadway, Night Fever, You should be dancing, More than a woman, You Win Again, For whom the bell tolls...you won't run out anytime soon! Brothers Gibb. Broke up short time after first 60s success but got back together 18 months later and became superstars in the 70s. Still writing hits over 40 years until Maurice's death in 2003. Greatest group ever and loving ❤️ your reactions x

This was always my favorite Bee Gees song!! The nostalgia hits me in the gut remembering the joy of hearing those harmonies as a kid over the radio and singing at the top of my lungs and probably driving the birds from the trees to fly south early... 😂 I saw somewhere recently that this was their mother's favorite song they did, too. I hope you will react to "Love You Inside and Out," an R&B flavored song from the middle of their career and "One" from the later part of their career. They continually put out great music decade after decade, and I've enjoyed it all! Also, I love "Massachusetts" their first big hit from when they were very, very young! 💃🎵🎶🎸🎹

They are brothers lol they were born to sing together. They started singing at 9 and 6. They briefly broke up late 60s and reunited about 18 months later and kept writing and singing amazing music for the next 50 years until Mo passed away in 2003. Robin passed away in 2012. They all took turns at lead. They will never be matched. They sang over a thousand songs and never had a bad one. All 3 of them play different instruments. Barry just guitar but the twins played quite a few instuments which is amazing as they are self taught and none could read music.

Barry far right, Robin middle, Maurice(Morris) on the left. Until about 1975 Robin lead the group a lot because people liked ballads and his voice was perfect for them . When Reith Marden asked for a falsetto 'scream' ad-lib on Nights of Broadway Barry volunteered to try and discovered a 'reinforced falsetto' he did not know he had. He had the most leads for many years from there.

You should start a Bee Gees Playlist. With studio albums, movie soundtracks, live albums and collaboration albums they have 39. Five decades of great songs. They write all of their own songs and hundreds have recorded their songs. They said in an interview their backlog of songs was about 3,000 and that was twenty years ago. They have a younger brother Andy Gibb. He was 12 years younger than Barry and 9 years younger than Robin, no beard and Maurice (twins but not identical) and had a solo career. First three songs hit number one.
I Just Wanna Be Your Everything.
    Shadow Dancing.
    Love Is Thicker Than Water.
He's on stage with his brothers on the live video of
    You Should Be Dancing.
Andy and Barry were very close and very much alike and they even had identical birthmarks. They were like twins with a 12 year age difference.

Here's some history on other Bee Gees.
The Bee Gees are the 3 Brothers Gibb (hence Bee Gees). Barry was born in 1946. Robin (guy in the middle) and Maurice (pronounced Morris) are fraternal twins born in 1949. Their career ran from 1958 when they were young children, until the death of Maurice in 2002. After Maurice’s death, both Barry and Robin continued to produce music.
. One of the great things about the Bee Gees and their long career is that they were constantly growing and reinventing themselves.
The Bee Gees' final ever performance actually came eight months later on February 23, 2002
The Bee Gees wrote and produced more than 1,000 songs. They have sold over 120 million records worldwide (with estimates as high as over 225 million records sold worldwide), making them among the best-selling music artists of all time. They were inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 1997; the Hall's citation says, "Only Elvis Presley, the Beatles, Michael Jackson, Garth Brooks and Paul McCartney have outsold the Bee Gees." With nine number-one hits on the Billboard Hot 100, the Bee Gees are the third-most successful band in Billboard charts history behind only the Beatles and the Supremes.
They were born in England but lived their early life in Australia. They returned to the UK in 1967 to purse an international music career. Later, in 1875, they moved to Miami in 1975. Both Robin and Barry also maintained homes in the UK.
Maurice's died suddenly in January 2003 at the age of 53. Barry and Robin retired the group's name after 45 years of activity. In 2009, Robin announced that he and Barry had agreed that the Bee Gees would re-form and perform again. Robin died in May 2012, aged 62, after a prolonged period of failing health, leaving Barry as the only surviving member of the group. Barry is still alive today at the age of 76 and still producing music.
The Bee Gees had a younger brother Andy who had his own very successful music career. The Bee Gees helped Andy develop his career, writing songs for him and sometimes performing with him. Andy died in 1988 from inflammation of the years, as a result of a viral infection.

@haroldsanteliz6153 Maurice did too control his alcoholism. He went through a program and quit drinking in late 70's or early 80's. He had a slip after Andy died but he went for help and conquered that demon and went on to help many other people before he died. He stayed sober for the rest of his life. He died from a birth defect and the negligence of the hospital. Barry and Robin wanted to take the hospital to court but Maurice's wife settled out of court with them. And they did admit to the malpractice.

Love your reactions. Love these guys. No, no bad songs ever. Hidden gems? Kiss of Life, Blue Island (the mtv live acoustic) Cherry Red, from their teen years in Oz. Of course they are not so hidden, but gems nevertheless. There is also a little reviewed country jam session with Willie Nelson and Glen Campbell live. Its awesome

Robin in the middle can play instruments but doesn’t usually. He did on some songs in the 60. They all play instruments, sing with such vast range and write beautiful songs. Please can you react to Kiss of life. Thank you❤
