The reason I really love Paul Gilbert is that he not only shows flash guitar technics, but also very easy-listening rhythms. We can say that he's very humble man in that point.
Paul is seriously one of the most talented guitarists in the history of the instrument. I am amazed at his playing more and more every year. I truly am inspired to play my guitar more and more because of Paul. I just love this guy! I am so thankful I am going to see him in a few months at Sweetwater.
I landed on this video semi-randomly via the youtube recommendations. I could criticise and say they are not 'real' songs and that it's just a pre-rehearsed show-off jam, but even so, to play this long with no breaks so impeccably (by all musicians) is truly phenomenal. Top notch performance.
Did he seriously just play non-stop for 40 minutes and not hit a bad note?? Sweet Jesus...
Every one fans Paul Gilbert 2024 listening?
Jesus Christ. That was the most impressive thing I've seen in my entire life! Nailed every single note!!! Thanks, PG! Long life to the king!
Paul has long past the epitome of epicness. The place where no wrong notes exist. In other words, he’s the G.O.A.T.
Did he break the makita ?

Technique, feel, soul, humour, humility - for me, the greatest guitar player of all time by a mile.
