@@Megawaps I'll give ya Little Hope for having vaguely interesting demons, but all the other games that feature creatures as the main antagonists are tall gangly bat things (the Whendigos in Until Dawn, the aliens in House of Ashes, the werewolves in The Quarry). The other games you mention don't feature any creature designs at all (iirc).
I mean, there are a few creature-ish monsters in Man of Medan, even if they weren't real.@@isaactfa

Most of the time there is no guarantee NL will play a specific game, but Supermassive Games are one of the few exceptions I'm certain that whenever a new one comes out, he will get around playing it.

I do not know why Jason was so hated. To me he came off as more of the "hard shell soft core"-type of guy. I mean of course he was pejudiced about the Iraqis but I would not have said it was because he is racist. I would argue he was more the "radicalized by the media and propaganda"-type of guy, not someone that is ideologically set on hating others. That was shown when he did not just shoot the Iraqi captain (obeyed orders) and once he realized that they can only survive together he got his head down and did his job (work with Salim). He gave Salim some very "tough love" at first, but that was never so much that it would have justified killing him to me. After all he had multiple chances to kill Salim and the player never even got that choice.
I would have seen him more as the "prejudiced charakter relizes that we are all human after all, and softens up"-trope, someone that deep down is a good guy but just was mislead at some point.
Just had to get that off my chest because I thought it was unjustified, that NL said hes the worst and the only one he actually tried to kill. Edit: Also that NL had such a hard time to belive that Jason had a change of heart/ was never THAT ideologically on the wrong track...
i 100% agree with the sentiment, really enjoyed his relationship with salim evolve over the course of the game until he fully accepted him as a brother in arms by the end
i find people like Jason intensely unlikable. maybe it’s from living in the south too long, but i don’t really care if he isn’t ideologically bigoted. also i’m against the military. bunch of war criminals and gleeful child murderers.
I think I’m just going to let these videos play for 24/7 on all my devices to ensure you get all that good ad revenue for all your hard work!!

Why do all games with blind bat enemies do a "they only react to sound" thing? Doesn't echolocation literally help them pinpoint walls and obstacles and stuff?
Because at the end of the day, gameplay trumps realism. There's no point giving them echolocation abilities, cause then you might as well give them eyes.
