As a clinical psychologist who often works with clients presenting with insomnia, I was disappointed that evidenced approaches such as CBTi and ACT weren’t mentioned and 2 problematic ideas - that tracking sleep longer term is helpful and that the next day is a right off after a bad night - were repeated. As an occasional user of supplements, I was surprised to hear of there being no issue taking vitamin D and Bs at night when they are always recommended to be taken first thing?
@@jennifercunningham-t7l hey 👋 I got mine on Amazon it’s 8kg but there are different weights, it’s not the furry type just plain cotton, I’ll try and put you a link on
I wish my sleep problems had only started in midlife. I’m 61 and have had insomnia all my life. I can honestly say I have never had a full nights sleep in my adult life and, as far as I can remember, struggled to sleep throughout childhood. At my worst, in my 30s, I used to get about 8 hours a week. I’ve done so many important things, like my driving test, on no sleep at all.
Wow! Has it aged you? I find I can manage on little sleep but maybe not for longer than a few days. I als find my skin looks grey and I look better after good sleep.
I don't know if this helps. My sleep has been poor since my 40s. I'm now 55. I've tried so many things. My latest theory is that my gut microbiome has affected my sleep. I have been on the Zoe programme since Feb and now know how to eat for my biology. Just thought I'd share..
Nothing to do with sleep. I watch HERD and this week in Kenya and I have never heard or seen a GRYNYUK. Wow. She's been doing a recce and I would have loved loved to have been able to do the Kenya trip but the big C decided that my husband would not be able to go Ugh ❤❤❤

Ive recently been using lemon balm tea at night find it really helps (as well a night time routine and getting to bed, the latest 10pm) helps me😊

Sorry to hear this - do speak to the Better Menopause team to see if this would be right for you ❤️
I really wish I could afford all these suggestions but .....
I have a talking book…on…and drift off listening to it…in ten minutes
Lovely!
Could a younger person take Better Sleep, if not yet in perimenopause?
It's made with midlife women in mind ❤️
