When I took my test over 40 years ago, the format was different and I didn't need to reverse into a parking space. But after passing my test first time, I reverse park into parking bays most of the time unless for some reason. I don't have reverse sensors or camera on my large estate car, but set my mirrors down to see the lines. Belvedere test centre is local to me. Hopefully the pupil has learnt how to reverse park. It is important for many reasons.
Hi, thanks for your comment. It was on Wednesday 13th December 2023 at 11:11am.
Test date and times are always at the beginning of my videos.
Thank you for watching.
Thank you!
Hi. Nice content. Would you mind sharing what time was this test?
Not sure if you're able to fix this in post, but at 17:30 you wrote RIGHT when your arrow and car turned LEFT.
Also at 24:05 you pulled in to the left, but didn't mention it in the subtitles
Theoretically, if the examiner said turn right ( I'm not suggesting he/she actually did) but we got into a left turn lane, signalled left and turned left it would not be a serious fault as it was all safe.
Hey,
Please they go on the dual carriageway for this test ? Thank you so much
Hey, no the driving test routes don't include the carriageway.
Hello oh wow do you mean the Belvedere tests route never go on carriageway ? My instructor said the carriageway always comes up on the test I was surprised not to see it on this video
@@DA-yw8vy I haven't experienced a learner driving test on the carriageway before at Belvedere. At Hither Green and Tolworth - yes! If you're talking about a driving instructor (ADI part 2) test, then yes - that includes the carriageway as you're tested on all types of roads but for leaner drivers - I haven't had a route that goes there, not in Belvedere anyway.
*Not saying your instructor is wrong though
I've seen a couple routes around Belvedere that do definitely utilise some of the spine road. But I don't think you'd be going to the A2 (and the bits with national speed limits are almost certainly too far away).
I've also seen some that go along knee hill too.
I've got my test here in a couple weeks, so I'm doing lots of research too (even though I've probably got over 100 hours private practice, lots of it being near here as I live somewhat nearby).
Good luck on your test though
Hello thank you so much for your reply. I just did my test last week. There are 15 routes for Belvedere. My route took me on the A2 around welling, I wasn’t prepared for this and unfortunately I failed. Good luck in your test.
Can you fail for not being able to do a manoeuvre?
😂😂 💯!!! It’s all part of the package.
The candidate alleges the bay lines were not visible. There are a number of ways to make the bay parking easier. The lines were clear in one part of the car park. It is up to the candidate to choose the easiest part of a car park and whether you park nest to another vehicle or in a vacant area and indeed reverse to left or right.
