Sooo happy for Aptera! They deserve that funding, they’re clearly doing everything as effectively, logically and efficiently as they possibly can in every aspect that I’ve seen with their regular updates. Having Munro on board to help them with development ensures that they’re on the right path too...also can’t wait to see one in real life - once they are finally in Australia, that is 😆 Well done Aptera! Keen for what’s to come ❤
While I am truly optimistic about Apteras future, I don't think we should assume everything is funded. Best to wait three more weeks to get more complete picture. That being said, this was about the best update they have put out!
We should figure that Aptera is going to need $95M from US Capital Global. Aptera has stated that they need $50M to get what is needed to start high volume production. They have also said that it will be 9 months before we see production vehicles being delivered from the time they receive they sign the agreement for the $50M. What is missing is the amount of money needed between today and 9 months from yesterday, making it Saturday February 14, 2025. Aptera's burn rate has been about $5M / month and with operations expanding, that will increase. If we just assume $5M / month that is the missing $45M, but what about the crowd funding money that is still remaining? Have you ever seen a project like this actually come in on budget? Whatever money is remaining from the great crowd funding will surely go to the difference.
This is definitely good news for Aptera and that we will see the vehicle in our driveways. It is highly unlikely that the terms would put Chris and Steve in a position that they lose control of the company. I am really hoping that such agreement does not drive the cost of the vehicle up to the point where many of us will not be able to afford it. Keeping LE at or under $35K will be very important and should be in the world of possibilities with battery costs going way down.
Yes, under 35k or the thing fails. Even at 35 it competes directly with the model 3, and only us weirdos would choose Aptera in that matchup.
Aptera. Benefits? Same charge time on superchargers and Degraded super chargers giving probably same distance as model 3 for that charge time... But at a fraction of the cost.
Downsides? I doubt any autopilot will be what tesla fsd is now or will be in 3 months. Though I think fsd with just cameras is sketchy to begin with.
Sentry mode. Maybe aptera as well?
Backseat.
What else does Tesla have? Reputation... Good or bad is debatable but def reputation
Reason to believe it will still exist in 5 years time
"Aptera's burn rate has been about $5M " In recent months it has been more like $1.5, but now that they are hiring again it will be increasing.
@@n.brucenelson5920 I thought their last report showed that the burn rate had dropped but was still about $4M, which I thought was very high. Regardless, if they are ramping up to production, they will be burning at least $5M a month. I'm not saying that this is a bad thing at all, just something to add to the calculations. I'm hoping that this news is starting the 9 month clock but fear it is not. Lots of good news with the progress of the PI builds.
So basically we just need to give them more money
Let’s go Aptera and super pumped!!
This is fantastic news. Aptera will sell as many vehicles as they can make. It is not niche - it moves people and stuff around, which is what cars do. The majority of cars I see have one or two people in them. Please bring it to the UK asap.
🥳
Godspeed! Get those things out there!

I just want a 3-seater. I was going to reserve, but now I need room for 3.

This is thrilling news. The milestones will be coming fast, now!
Sometime in the next 18 months-ish. Yeah. 😅
Bruce, I agree. Whether loan or investment of this size, there will be hard deadlines/milestones in any agreement. I look forward to seeing the timetable.
@ddessert6 You are spot on. In this June 6 update, be looking for a hard date on when a PI with all major systems in place will be completed and what its calibration/test schedule will be.
November’s projection was 1st qtr. ‘24/2 months ago.
Hopefully, you will receive a definitive plan which you then see them go out and execute.
I think it prudent for everyone to hold their excitement until we get a chance to listen to webinar and learn more. This is a step in the right direction, but not yet a leap forward. The details will matter.
Aptera Deep Dive Analysis, I am here for all of this.
Very excited to see this happening! Looking forward to them announcing the details in the near future, and the day that I take delivery of mine!
T minus 9 months
I know they said 9 months which would be January or February. But as all things are I think they will run onto speed bumps so I'm hoping May or June of next year 12 to 13 months.
I hope I'm wrong. I so hope I'm wrong.
But anytime next year is a win for Aptera in my humble opinion.
Maybe I’m a pessimist but Q4 2025 at the earliest. There is still a long way to go. 9 months is only in a perfect reality with literally 0 problems which just won’t happen.
@@jonahhammond2438 Sounds like we both agree. 9 months is the ideal. 12 months or 16 months seems more realistic. I'm still hoping they can do it in 9 however.
In the short term I want to see the PI builds. We will learn a lot from them.
This is truly *GREAT* news! I have been following Aptera since about 2005, and it is awesome to have everything lining up for volume production!
Very exciting 😊
I guess I am still waiting for detail. The US Capital Global website seems to be saying they are folks who, as a service, will help you find money -- not their money, but someone's money.
True - as Chris Anthony put it: … the money they raise. So sounds like the funding could be still pending.
It's true. We're probably not nine months from customer deliveries quite yet. At the same time, companies like USC don't work with anyone unless they think they can be successful, and often there's already investors lined up and ready by the time such deals are announced. I'm optimistic, and waiting for details on June 6th
Can't wait to get mine!
I am extremely excited by the news and I do want my launch edition as soon as possible. However, Aptera needs this to be a bullet proof launch, they may not survive if the Aptera is subject to build quality issues, physical recalls (software recalls can be done over the air). I am willing to wait longer for it to be that much better.
100% this. Sure I want an Aptera in my driveway like yesterday but if it suffers from poor build quality I won't be happy. I'd rather wait 19 months over 9 months if it means good quality vs crappy quality. Hopefully they can pull off a good quality vehicle in 9-12 months.
On the bright side I'm like 40,000 on the list. 20,000 if 50% of the preorders buy. So even if the build quality is an issue early on I may be safe before my turn comes up.
I am so stoked! The day is finally here! (In 9 or 10 months)
And thanks for all you do as well!
This is great news for Aptera! I will be buying 292 more shares of Aptera to give me 9000 shares before the IPO.
Only 1 more for "Over 9000!!!"
@@TailosiveEVI am not a wealthy individual but I invested into Aptera in the early rounds even though I lost money in Elio. I did because of Steve and Chris's vision for Aptera and I actually believed in them! And since 2019 I have been along for the ride which has been full of ups and downs but still invested every year because I believed in their vision. I looked at it the same as buying an automobile. If they didn't make it, it would be like buying a car and driving it for 20 years. It would be wore out and a salvage yard would pay me $250 to take it off my hands. But if they succeed, the reward will be much greater then the reward from the new car I bought 20 years ago.
I'm 90% convinced of making the $2,000 investment. I've been setting aside the money I can afford to lose and was waiting for this announcement to give me even more confidence. It's always a risk of course but I'm ready to make the plunge. Just a 3 more weeks away for me to have the cash I need to invest. I actually opened up a bank account with a direct deposit from my paycheck. $200 per week. 7 weeks on 3 weeks to go. This news is fantastic and I'm more than excited to get rid of my very nice albeit expensive Genesis GV70.
I'm 100% thinking a green wrap for my green Aptera.
Next up? PI builds. Hurry hurry hurry....but get it done with quality and reliability.
👏 I’m only at 3501 shares, but that is the maximum amount I could logically afford. The future is bright! 😎
Once the first hundred or so Apteras are released into the wild, the presently uninformed car market will themselves go wild. As an only car or second car, many people are going to want one -- especially if they are affordable. The pent-up demand for an affordable EV is huge, especially in the US.
Sweet !!!
I have to admit that I was getting a bit nervous. This is good news. I did see the April/May update vid but this clarifies some. Thanks Drew.
Thanks again for your excellent breakdown and passion Drew, well done!
You and I heard two very different things in that opaque and carefully worded update. He just did not say the funding is in place. He said they have turned to US Capital to obtain the funding. In other words, this confirms that they have not been able to get an investor on acceptable terms, so are now paying someone else to do it. It would be GREAT if your understanding is right. But I fear the news we have all been waiting for has yet to be announced.
Phew! I thought the crowd funding was both exciting but also a big red flag, so it’s good that it was a stepping stone along the way.
That's fascinating to me. Is it because there have been no major crowd funding campaigns resulting in highly successful projects, or because crowd funding has never brought in that much funding? To me it's a huge green flag of a company actually doing what they should to raise money from the people they should raise it from.
This is awesome news, I was super excited to hear about it. Now they just need to ramp up production quickly enough to get to my 600 version. Which I really hope is ‘26. 2k accelerators in second Q ‘25, remaining LE configurations through rest of ‘25, 250 mile versions first part of ‘26, then 600 mile versions second half of ‘26. At least that’s what I’m really hoping happens. I won’t be mad if it’s faster though.
The only caveat I see with paid reservations is that it's only $100. I want to afford one when they come out I don't know if I can. I am in line I don't even know what my position is. I wonder how many reservations are like mine where it's very iffy. I am going to try to make it work.
Yes would like to get a 400 or 600 mile version...do not know how it will all work out for those on the Reserve lists and all who decide after to own one by 2026 or sooner!?!
Are you an influencer? Then you probably aren't getting yours first. Which, honestly, is probably a good thing for normal people, because the problems will get ironed out. Although I appreciate that it must be hugely frustrating for those people who genuinely didn't care if their Cybertruck was fraught with early problems they just wanted it asap.
Don't forget a few years down the road we will also get the 4 seater and then the SUV. I am getting the 2 seater. Depending, I may get the SUV or a Canoo pickup to pull my Pebble Flow when I get it.
Just pulled the trigger and picked up some shares.
How can you do that when it’s not even in the stocks?
@@languist While Aptera is not yet a publicly traded company, you can buy shares directly from Aptera through their website.
Aptera needs to get a fleet sales team together. Every company that does food delivery should have a few. Even driving 90 miles a day with only 20 miles from solar, you could still charge it overnight off a 110v outlet. Having 1 fewer wheel & tire is good for long-term maintenance, especially for a fleet. Also 1 fewer tire/wheel to buy for winter tires. Imagine: Could Aptera be set up in "tow mode" to put motor power in to help the vehicle towing it? Aptera could even strip the interior & make a true teardrop trailer! Even without going to 4 wheels there are many use cases & variations.
There are already powered trailers for EVs and that does seem like the best way to manage the range anxiety (I mean, other than the fact that if you *do* have anxiety of any kind you should absolutely take your clear mental health problem to a therapist because it's one of the most treatable conditions they deal with). Batteries in the trailer, motors in the wheels, it can run itself. That's all been proven so I think there's several levels EV trailers should be at - one is just a well made trailer, the other is an aerodynamic trailer, and the third is it having batteries and/or motors. I suppose a fifth option might be if it could also connect to the vehicle and supply power back to the towing vehicle. Obviously most people who use a trailer don't need any range on it, but some people really do want it. Even horse boxes could do all that and then you could air condition the animal you are abusing by putting it in a box and probably mutilating it's trouser department if it's a chap.
I want it in Beamng 😭🙏
Most excellent intro on this one.
Great news thank you. I have not been able to invest, but I look forward to buying one in the future. Let’s hope this is a beautiful vehicle.
YES! Such great news! I think the cutting off of crowdfunding is to let people jockey for that first 2K vehicles and to just let some people get in on the ground floor as well, now that they have pretty much locked in production funding. It would mean they could possibly just pay off that debt faster. Whoo!
Typically equity = dilution, not "less shares to go around", but good for everyone regardless I think
Thise of a certain age will certainly remember Richad Boone as Paladin in "Have Gun Will Travel" and its theme song by Johnny Western. Well, in honor of Aptera's announcement, I believe that its time to update that classic
The Ballad of Apterian:
Have Sun Will Travel
Chorus:
"Apterian, Apterian, free and far you roam.."
Apterian, Apterian, your free ride is home.."
"Have sun will travel" reads the card of a man.
A knight in carbon fiber armour, grid-less flight upon the land.
Solar electric power heedless of the air and wind.
It seems he's from the future, the man called Apterian.
Chorus:
"Apterian, Apterian, free and far you roam.
Apterian, Apterian, your free ride is home..."
He's driving and he's grinning and he's having wicked fun
60 in under 4, all powered by free sun
They're already writing legends of "he who's one with wind."
He's a latter day George Jetson, the man called Apterian.
Chorus:
"Apterian, Apterian, free and far you roam...
Apterian Apterian, your free ride is home....
Your free ride is home...
Your free ride is home...
You can watch Have Gun Will Travel on MeTv on Saturdays.
This is awesome. I assumed they were required to stop crowdfunding with the new deal, because of potential dilution that would be out of US Capital's control.
"the bank must have done their diligence" yes... indeed this must be true 🤔
Ahh yes, that is an assumption that makes sense, until you watch The Big Short (or read it) or pay attention to any financial news whatsoever. It should probably be caveated with about six paragraphs of 'in an ideal world' 'if we were properly regulating them' 'if they understood technology or finance' 'if the smarter university students weren't working in neuroscience, engineering and basket weaving' 'if economics were any kind of scientific endeavour and not just alchemy with money' 'if business degrees were respectable on any level' 'if stockbrokers et al weren't famously into cocaine'. And on and on. 🤣😅😂
We should never assume that the industry experts are actually experts.
(from Aptera's video) "We've enlisted UX capital to fund our production plan. The money they raise would...". It sounds like they don't have the money. They just are now working with this company to raise the money? It might be too soon to act like they have the money already.
That's what I notice. US Cap is going to "help find..." not "help fund."
Still, great news.
As a small light Japanese ICE car owner, this is the only EV I have a genuine interest in. Best of luck Aptera!
Its an EV "K" car!
Great news!
You going to try and head back out once they have the PI's assembled and rolling around?
Absolutely
I root for this car to succeed even if I probably will never own one (Canadian winters) 🤣
A debt deal might be structured for converting into equity as certain metrics are accomplished. Frankly, by todays standards, hybrid deals are fair game.
My questions at this point is really simple, does US Capital have 50/60 million dollars, or do they find buyers in Abu Dubai, and other venture capitalists? If they still are fund raising, we are still waiting, but if they have the funds then building the vehicle next spring is assured. Guessing on June 6 Aptera will be picking those words very carefully, as an IPO get closer, a "quiet period" which is required under the SEC rules for coming public.
The situation is strange from the point of view US Capital is in San Francisco as well as Abu Dubai, why the Drift X branch is involved, because of Steve Fambro's contacts. The clarity needs to be known, as the fan base is used to transparency, and now expecting it.
What would happen to the crowdfunding shares. When they go ipo?
The shares will be your investment in Aptera on the stock exchange. You will have the freedom to sell them after a time frame set up by the firm handling the IPO.

Yeah it's like listening to a show and then suddenly the adverts come on at twice the volume which is somehow still legal because politicians are all too old to set some rules on it :D
I’m excited they have funding for production, but there are numerous other hurdles before shipping EVs. Let’s call it necessary, but not sufficient.
Hey Drew, am I understanding this right? Are they saying production models being sold to the public in 2025? Like next year?
Correct (assuming all goes accordingly, sometimes things come up)
WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO
It's always been next year
@@chrisbowman6608 the "It's" has changed. The vehicle they are producing now is of FAR higher quality than what was originally announced, and can be made in much higher volume.
Thanks for your quick and hopefully accurate read on this news, also for being first to the press with a comment. You do great work, keep it up.
It won't make a profit if they can't sell them. I don't see any market for a three wheeled vehicle at $30k plus when a regular EV like the Leaf is available at the same price. You don't really save much in electricity and you lose all sorts of things, such as regular car insurance and regular licensing (outside California). And how many people will want to fill the air in that back tire (not me), or have luggage the shape of a surf board?
How do you know any of this???
Wowwww😊❤
I’m more optimistic after Aptera’s update, but I find it concerning that this announcement comes right under the wire with no details about their arrangement with US Capital.
Under the wire? Was there a deadline they had for runway?
More detail is coming n the June 6th investor's webinar.
@@mixedup84 Not a specific date, but we all know that they need to go into production very soon and there would be no way to get their without significant funding. They were forecasting the start of production vehicles, at least for testing, by June.
@@astounded4546so you're concerned that they found a path to funding, when we all knew they were looking for a path to funding? Weird take
I wonder what US Capital Global's protocol is if the company they supplied millions of dollars of capital to STILL can't make it to production? Not saying that will happen to Aptera, but cash burn is the biggest problem with startups. All I'm hoping is that Aptera starts churning out these amazing vehicles and becomes profitable sooner rather than later.
I'm happy to hear it. Not because I care about this vehicle, but because I care about quadricycles like the Squad Solar. The more companies who can make light vehicles with some solar capacity, the faster the tech develops and the more viable it becomes. There's also a chance that Aptera would make smaller, more practical vehicles in the future that would be worthwhile in older countries, or licence their tech to other brands.
And if you're wondering why I say it's not practical, it's because most of us (humans, not North Americans) live in much more densely populated countries, with older cities, most of which contain some very old roads that are narrow and you still want to be able to drive down. It literally wouldn't fit safely down a lot of the residential streets in my local area - you may as well drive a Land Rover and bear the scorn of all your neighbours but as the wheels stick out, they'd get driven into really easily. Which would not be fun when it happened to you. It's not because I'm just being mean or something, it's an actual design flaw that would make using the current Aptera model silly in Europe and Asia, which is where most people live.
Also it does infuriate me that people can't grasp the concept that a solar powered vehicle doesn't have to fully recharge the battery daily, for it to be useful. It's mind boggling to me that people who've experienced getting in a car and finding their 12v battery is flat, so they can't get to work, cannot see the value in having a daily charge. Or people who've ever run out of petrol on a trip and had to call roadside assistance. How is this that hard to understand? The future is basically solar panels in pretty much every location, where the panel version of the surface comes down to the same price as having any surface at all. They're making cladding to go on buildings that's also solar, and it's reaching cost parity with other cladding so it's a no brainer.
Do I want my rucksack to be coated in flexible solar? Yes, I do. What about my garage door? Absolutely! Actually, that's a great target now I think about it since it's super easy to replace, and they're often cabled up to a motor now and rarely obstructed. I wonder if anyone's doing that yet?
@jonesvanauthor The 88” width decision is/was not practical anywhere and undermined the value of the effort. Having done some random testing in DC and measuring distances from curb to outer body surfaces, an Aptera, if produced as is, will have that cosmetic part sticking out about a foot beyond the vehicle ahead/behind. The outcome is foreseeable. A common thing people do is compare the Aptera “from the ground up” dimension to the outside of the mirror dimension on other vehicles. Mirrors are at different heights, they can be folded & some do automatically. If one gets hit, not a biggie.
So appreciate that you’re observant and objective about the excessive width.
My Vanderhall 3-wheeler is 69” wide by the way. Its CG is further forward than Aptera’s. Vanderhall put a heavy emphasis on creating/testing multiple designs in the real world.
Aptera’s “success” remains hypothetical on a number of fronts.
@@bobhellman8676 Bob, I have owned and driven wider step vans even if youo don't count the mirrors, n crowded cities, including Chicago and in the SF Bay area.
They are driven on these city streets every day.
Aptera still fits nicely in a compact parking space which in the US is 96". A standard space is 108" I plan to be road tripping in mine, and the increase in range at speed due to lower CD is well worth the width for many of us.
@n.brucenelson5920 jonevans explained it to you.
Your stepvan was wider. My Isuzu NPR HD is wider. People expect that of vans & trucks.
Aptera is attempting to introduce an 88” wide 3-wheeler (with cosmetic parts below curb height/below others belt line).
A) It killed the EU opportunity, B) It was unecessary, and C) Less than 2m would have benefited everyone.
Trucks are truck width. 2 seaters are not.
A high damage rate and lack of application is a foreseeable outcome. No way to start out.
Hi High Volume!!! Woooooooo
I had to come back and watch that intro one more time.
I would think based on what US Capital does that Aptera absolutely has to shutdown crowdfunding. The longer they keep crowdfunding open the more things would be diluted for a potential investor through US Capital. It's a catch-22 where the money in the crowdfunding helps dictate value and viability but continuing it reduces the potential investor's stake. I am here for it either way since I do not want Steve and Chris to lose ownership to some random billionaire investor that wants to take majority stake.
Fantastic News! Thank you.

I assume the US Capital deal will minimize the dilution of the Crowdfunded investors.
To the extent that it's debt vs equity, yes.
This is very promising! So if I'm understanding correctly, trying not to get high on hype, but this basically means Aptera getting to full scale production is effectively locked in and WILL happen yes? Now it's just a matter of what this deal looks like and how that will affect either A) how many shares there are to go around when they IPO if it's an equity deal or B) what number of vehicles sold they have to hit to be profitable and how fast they could pay the loan back if it's a loan? Funding is secured (lol)? This isn't just a step but a major milestone yes?

I hope they make it. Elio motors had ICE version of this. (Never made it) Carver had a leaning version of 3 wheeled cycle. (Never made it). History is littered with tons of failures to make it to production and profitability.

I think this will be the Tesla Killer
It will be a niche product until the culture embraces something besides the vehicular equivalent of the codpiece, which is what most cars aim for now aways. But it can survive as a niche product.
The fact is the aptera makes more sense than any other method of transport - it is better than airplanes, cars, bicycles, walking, horses. It combines efficiency, range, and safety of the best of these technologies. When people start caring about their vehicle choices making sense, it will take off. I estimate that won't happen for at least 30 years.
A two seater won't work for most families. So I think it will appeal to certain segment of the market. Young and old people with no kids or grown kids. Tree huggers thst love the concept and the efficiency. People with fat wallets who can afford more than one vehicle, commercial fleets, etc..
Right - and 34% of all US households are two people. That's a pretty big market. But there will still be a need for bigger vehicles.
Which is not to mention that fact that people who can afford more than the most basic cars, currently buy cars almost solely based on looks and prestige.
When people's choices start to make sense, the Aptera will take off. Until then, it will be a somewhat niche product.

MKBHD doesn't know what they are talking about. Watch that video again and you'll see. Tailosev has a better take on it. And also Aptera Owners Club.
Didn't blindly believe any RUclipsr. Evaluate the evidence and arguments for yourself

the market for a light weight vehicle with those characteristics is to small.
Yes, oh wise sage... I mean....troll.... who cares what you think? Certainly not the thousands of investors and reservation holders. It is really sad that the quality of concern trolls is so low.
Computer projections are now indicating that if we continue on our present path pouring CO2 and other warming gasses into our atmosphere as we have been, life on Earth will disappear.
For the sake of our children the market better be larger than you imagine.
People would rather buy Karen SUVs
@@kennygaming208 Let them.
This spent such a long time to say aptera is going ahead but he didnt know anything thus i think he should have said nothing
19 years and still raising money. I can't believe so many people think they only started 5 years ago. Even though they changed their name from Aptera Inc to Aptera Corp to hide their Bankruptcy.
Same car body.
Same story of raising capital over and over.
Keep sending them money. And no, they didn't start in 2019....... they have been raising money since 2005.
If you think two cars that have the same body make them the same product idk what you are thinking. Why watch videos about them?
So much bad information here. The founders did not end the first company, they were gone long before that and had nothing to do with it's demise. The two are very different companies which had years of down time between them. Aptera of today started at the end of 2019, so yes, it has been under five years. The vehicles of the first time and today only share a similar exterior shape, otherwise just about everything else is completely different.
You have been listening to to many trolls. Do some due diligence. Aptera Inc. was an Idealab company and Paul Wilbur was CEO. Steve Fambro, who had the original idea, and Chris Anthony had board positions for a while, but Chris was ousted in a surprise board vote organized by the CEO in 2008, and Steve resigned. The failure - which Steve and Chris were not around for, was not a bankruptcy.
The original body was produced using vacuum resin infusion. The current Aptera Corp body is pressed SMC and carbon fiber - a much less labor intensive and wasteful process with far higher precision.
The general shape is based on the 1982 A. Morelli design, as have several other cars since then, including one by MIT. There are no parts from the Aptera Inc. version that are even the same size. In addition, the complete drive train concept of the present vehicle has nothing in common with the Aptera Inc version. It would be very hard to get any more different than that.
@@n.brucenelson5920 You do such a succinct job of rebutting the misinformation Bruce. Thank You!
With each passing month on their November “PI’s completed in the first few months of next year” claim they continue to amass negative credibility on their claim to become a viable manufacturer.
The first PI body has already been delivered and has been used to finalize the wiring harness. It is happening.
@n.brucenelson5920
A January line item per their November/December presentations and it’s nearly June.
I think everyone was rightly expecting more from “The Most Efficient Vehicle Validation Possible”.
Weren’t you?
the EV fad is over. they are dumb and inconvenient
Lol no.

Are you blind?
This car isn't right for everybody, but it's perfect for me.
I have a winter condo in Florida where I live in the winter. This will be mine and my husband's third car. One gets left in Iowa in the winter while we drive the second, an SUV, to Florida for the winter. The Aptera is perfect for my needs. Out in the Florida Sun, it will get enough charge that I will literally never need to plug it in, though I could if I wanted to drive some distance or had a massively unusually busy week. The carbon fiber body should hold up better near the salt air, and I will store it in a storage bag in my condos garage during the summer. If I got a regular EV, there's no place to charge it at my condo. But all I have to do is park the Aptera in the Sun, and it will get all the charge I need
There's no desire for this vehicle in the marketplace broadly.
47K+ reservations disagree
there's no desire for this kind of comment broadly.
@@TailosiveEV of course there's fanboys out there for almost anything. I'm talking about a widespread mass marketing potential. Remember Ev's are not cars
I think once people out there start to see it in the wild that it will generate interest and then people can make up their own mind if it fits in their lifestyle. If it starts to make way in sunnier places then there's huge market potential. I can see some people modding it a little to be a city delivery vehicle as well. We know it's not for everyone.
@@ChrisWhalenCPA "EV's are not cars", that's an objectively stupid thing to say i'm (not) sorry lol.
