@@Fizzyford Were the allegations against him true? I never looked into it. I mean he was definitely toxic, but for that suicidal fan, he kinda had a point that putting that stress on him as a streamer out of the blue isn’t really good. Though his response was very douchy and unsympathetic.

My lord I've forgotten how much anybody that plays with this guy loves to get appreciation from him for no reason
Things I love about the supposed greatest analyst Smite had to offer.
1. Uses his blink to secure a white camp, which he later claims was because his mid laner did a bad start.
2. Either always late to a rotation, or executes it poorly. He advocates for playing with your brain, but brainlessly chases kills under tower and usually dies for them.
3. He commands others to ward and play safe, while he has two wards in his inventory that go unused pretty much for the entire game.
4. He has legitimately no map awareness. Things that can easily be seen are always a surprise to him.
5. He personally attacks his team mates rather than giving constructive criticism. Consistently calling people who make misplays 'not human', or stupid.
6. Advocates for build diversity and building based on team comp, yet always builds the same items on his characters.
7. Talks about how his team mates feed the enemy team kills, meanwhile he is consistently top deaths.
8. Never, ever plays with his team. All he does is complain about them dying while he uselessly roams and takes whatever camps he can get and leeches waves. Only helps when the enemy is low enough that he can Loki the kill, or he joins the fight when he is completely alone against the entirety of theirs.
9. Gets a glorious lead from an enemy team misplay, squanders it by trying to continue farming instead of utilizing it against players far below him in levels.
10. "It's okay if I do it." Misses abilities constantly. Rages at his team when they miss.
11. Useless callouts. Stating the obvious.
12. Latching on to one 'villain' of the team and for the rest of the game, that 'villain' is the reason they are losing. Anything they do is a misplay.
13. Continued hypocrisy from other games. Behavior he advocates for is consistently shut down as bad.
14. Refuses to acknowledge correct plays, while constantly harping on about the bad, conveniently leaving out his own bad plays unless he is alone farming minions.
And 15, cuz I am tired of writing, tries to coach a team mate he viewed as bad while most of that team mate's own misplays were related to DM's overaggression or problems he had a very hard time controlling. Because, you know, as previously stated in this list, DM's lack of warding, lack of map awareness, lack of want to help his team mates, lack of capitalizing off his lead, and that he clearly viewed the Vulcan player as someone not human and therefore below him, mid lane was doomed from the second Vulcan got turret level 1.

It is worthwhile pointing out his mistakes, as he expects everyone who plays with him to not make mistakes like the ones mentioned. If he expects perfection, it is fine to point out his lack of it.
I just genuinely miss seeing him upset live. I can’t stand dmbrandon as a person. And he rages so hard. It’s awesome lmao
Fair enough, but the satisfaction of seeing him mad is overshadowed by how horrible he made his teammates feel.

He didn’t try tanking actually, Rama had already auto’d sobek and they still had a couple archers in the tower, khepri didn’t do any dmg to sobek so when ram dove in, he did it to kill sobek not save khepri, great play nonetheless though

DM is so tense because he thinks the many microseconds you gain is what makes you win the game, when in reality it’s missing all your shit and whiffing and wheezing that makes you lose the game.
I used to think Dmbrandon was good at the game, but years later, I'm watching this video and not only his mechanics but his decision-making are very questionable. Hope you can upload more videos, it's very entertaining to watch him rage.

this is something i see alot in players like dm. When he's watching the replay he doesn't focus on himself at all because in his mind he's perfect. This is the mark of a really bad player (at this level) the ability to watch your own gameplay the same way dm does his teammates is really important.

I remember even my first time coming across DM was golden. He was permanently playing Chaac back then, specifically with the then-new Mech-skin (cause of course he always used the latest skins) and facing off against a Cama.
Got one of his early blues stolen and kept blaming every misfortune from then on on losing that blue.

As whiny as he is, and as many mistakes as he made, that analysis of Vulcan was basically on point. I can see why people enjoyed his content despite the toxicity. Too bad he couldn't channel that and always be that kind of person.
Not even going to lie. I don't like his attitude in game. And there is out-of-game reasons to not like this guy.
But THIS video showcases, in the second half when he's breaking things down he does a really good job. He also has some good points on not hiding the Profile... don't let what some 'sub-humans' might say matter to you, stay accessible to those who might seek you out to benefit you.
This was a time where he wasn't completely negative and wasn't completely toxic. Still negative, still toxic, but he could channel moments like this.
80% of the 2nd half of this, is what most of us should actually be striving to do for Players and the Community (and now I need to shower after giving praise to DMBrandon).
As much as i like poking fun at dm and me (and the guy you see in the vid) loved to mess with him in game he def did suffer from mental disorders. He wrote about it after his little meltdown that made him depart from hirez. I think over time it only got worse playing a game he no longer enjoyed but had to stream as it was a lot of his income. Again, regardless of your situation it gives you no right to be absurdly nasty and toxic. Also its easier to review gameplay vs actually playing it out. Hes a good example of that, his mechanics are at best low diamond at that time.
Also that guy he coached was a way better player than him, he was gm peak and we used to duo together a lot before we quit. Still mad at him to this day for not getting his mic to work :(. He was just playing his worst character and playing on an alt

That Vulcan was trash though, and he lied about khepri ulting him at 3/4 hp.
He ulted him at like 1/2 hp as a burst was just about to hit him, which left him with very little hp.
If he hadn’t ulted and that burst killed him he would have been complaining saying why didn’t you ult me
