I knew DM was a toxic person, but I didn't know as much about you. The way you commentated about his mistakes and behavior shows you are not only a superior streamer and smite player, but also a superior moral compass for people on twitch in the moba community.
DM does have good advice at times, but it’s clouded in crying and shit talk so it’s nearly impossible to find. I like Weak3n, Incon, and Emilzy. All cool dudes who know the game well and will give others credit when making good plays, but will call out bad plays as well. The difference being calling the play as bad and not saying the person is fucking terrible.
I’m not gonna lie I never had a problem with DM...but holy shit...this isn’t even funny further down the line...this is just...depressing af

FatCat201 S I don’t really agree, it’s a good place to improve your mechanics, counterbuilding, and farming patterns. Don’t get me wrong casual is great to learn the same things but in dual since you don’t have to rely on anyone you can get a better grasp of what mistakes you’re making
Bob Sawyer I just feel that since Conquest is the main competitive game mode having a ranked 1v1 is kind of a meme.
You could argue that conquest is a lot of 1v1s early on, which is true, but having good teamwork is what wins games at the end of the day. Though understanding all the intricate things a 1v1 brings can help you thrive early game.
FatCat201 S yeah, having a strong laning phase , knowing how to counterbuild, learning God matchups, knowing sound cues/ ability cast times and knowing your power spikes/ how much damage you do are all really important things (if you wanna get good)which can be perfected in dual. A lot of pro players (Paul, And vote to name a few) played dual to learn Gods, matchups, and general mechanics. Personally, I’m a high diamond, low masters player that only reached where I am bc I grinded dual and hit GM. IMO dual players are really underrated, and I’d encourage you to go watch a Samdadude, or Rexsi vid (where they’re not trolling) to see how intricate it really is.

He basically got fired from hi rez when it happened. He was a caster at the time and they were extremely pissed off at Brandon for it. I don't think brandon was necessarily wrong, but it could have been said so much better if he really wanted to say something on it

I'm a social worker and what dmbrandon said in the last clip was one of the worst examples of bigotry I have ever seen in my life.
It's honestly embarrassing for him to be even streaming. A dude donated to dm going out of his way saying that he's better and smite has helped him and dm just completely shuts him down. It's literally so frustrating that this human being actually exist.
I'm not trying to defend it, but you don't need to be a social worker to realize that he probably blew up because he feels he has a personal connection to the comment. Maybe it was a friend that committed suicide, or possibly he himself had been experiencing suicidal thoughts. The problem remains in the fact that he took it out on his viewers.

Almost a year later and still relevant. I got into a custom with DM and got banned after three games because I would capitalize on him being out of position frequently. He said that I was stream sniping. He blamed his entire team for being out of position. I have been playing as long as he has, but I never blamed team for my mistake of being caught alone.

I come back to these roasts every once in a while. One of my favorite memories playing smite is I got into one viewer game of dms, right around the time cab came out. I went against him in solo, and absolutely destroyed him. He insta banned me from his games and chat, when I went back and watched the vod, whole time he's blaming his teammates screaming at them. When I literally just 1v1d him the whole time. Dm was the most toxic person ever, and it honestly blows my mind it took hirez that long to remove him from the community

I watch dm fairly regularly. His response to this will almost certainly be to someone mentioning it in his chat. At which point he will say “I don’t care please don’t come into this chat trying to start drama” and then ban the user.

That last part was rough to watch. As someone who views others as my motivation to do better and continue, I realized words mean more than anything. Also Smite is one of my favorite love-hate relationships of a video game and am glad you are one of the content creators for the community.

Im not sure how many people will see this. I watched this about 9 months ago when I knew nothing about Smite. Some time after this video I got really into ranked conq. I learned as much as I could about the game. I climbed from a high silver/low gold player to now Diamond player. After going through that process and learning how to play and make callouts to come back to this vid almost a year later, I only have one thing to say.

I've never been more uneasy watching someone play smite before. Unbelievable.
I think this is my 3rd time watching this and the last clip still triggers me the most like how can someone be so blind to the possibility that this guy had no one else. I grew up without knowing my mother at all and lost my father early on I've lived with grandmother since, but sometime content creator are just a better outlet at times like it's not hard to just say thank you.

The thanatos death to minions was cause he tried to blink then scythe and since blink wasn’t possible due to archers hitting him his left click made him auto attack instead of blink. I’ve had that kinda of happen to me before but without me dying.
