Mappy series is extremely underrated. Mappy games are really great and some of the best works Namco has ever created in my opinion. Unfortunately, Mappy series is often not talked about and fade into obscurity in terms of popularity. Mappy is pretty popular in Japan it seems, but outside of Japan, it's a very obscure and niche series. Mappy suffers like Mother/Earthbound, only much worse in terms of popularity. Mappy IP seriously needs more love both by Namco and the gaming community as a whole.
