Also, to a viewer, the character and the way a certain actor looks and acts out that character merge. Hence, picturing any other actor playing that character will seem awkward. That being said, I do agree that all those actors play their roles perfectly.
I love his magnetic voice and strong stage presence. The way he enunciates and the way he looks and gesticulates, every move is on point. I even think he gives off a little Johnny Depp vibe.

The Harvey /Donna scenes were always gold. Whether it's the quips or the more serious ones...they work that chemistry so hard. I would have thought being friends, but having to play the romance would have been awkward. I think without Mike, the show lost some of the momentum and heart but it gave Louis a greater character, Katrina and Brian became the new young, almost couple and the stuff with Harvey's mother, kept it going, and when Mike came back in season 9, just for a little while, the Harvey smile, turned into the Gabriel smile imho.
In my personal opinion Gabriel is an amazing actor and quite honestly doesn't get the credit he deserves honestly maybe Suits once this show ends will go back to doing movies.
Interesting is that this new, entire crew of actors...NEW ...at least for some of us, are far better for my taste, then some of the well known Hollywood actors staring in the biggest blockbusters.Hats of to all of them!!!!

James Bond ?I'd like to see him play Jesus of Nazareth, he has such a beautiful inner spirit and I suspect really needed the highly intellectual Sarah Rafferty to encourage and coach him in the role of Harvey. Hence the amazing camaraderie and grounded friendship and humour that comes through made it a very special performance, indeed.

Season 5 was devastating tbh, it was so sad
