    I have to add location code. How many access codes will location 02 hold? Can I use the same location code for all access codes to be entered? Also, sometimes the code works at first and then later it does not work?

    My 3 digit code works when calling from the Main Gate. However, the same code does not work for the building access. I get the “We’re sorry you have reached the number that is no longer in service or has been disconnected.”
    My building access code had been deleted and re-entered a few times using my same cell phone number. Could it be the system 1835 firmware or software that needs updating to the latest?

    I have a question, see I forgot my mastercode to my doorking 1812 and don't know how to change it now without the mastercode

      Hi Goksel Peduk. If you forgot your Master Code, a new Master Code can be programmed without losing any of the information that has already been programmed into the unit. A new Master Code must be programmed from the 1812 unit. Open the cabinet and flip the Master Code switch to ON, then enter a new 4-digit Master Code on the keypad followed by *. You should hear a BEEP when finished to let you know the new Master Code was accepted. Turn the Master Code switch off when completed. Hope this helps!

    Good video. How can I program a 4 digit entry code for relay #2, You showed relay 1 for walk-in gate. Thank you

    • @totalsecuritywarehouse3621
      @totalsecuritywarehouse3621  2 года назад

      @Sergio Molina, four-digit entry codes can be made to activate relay 0, relay 1, or relay 2 or any combination of relays by programming HI and LOW ranges for each relay. Take a look at the manual in the link provided below, at section 3.7.3, page 49.

    Does anyone know why when my apartment’s intercom/call box is not working with my code? - My calls go straight to my cell phone’s voicemail instead of ringing my phone & allowing me to press 9 for opening the outside entrance door for my visitors.
    I have called both my service provider & the phone maker; they have no answer for me.
    Could it be that my apartment managers are not doing the right inputs in order for my cell phone to ring instead of going straight to voicemail? 🤷‍♀️

    • @alexwright3004
      @alexwright3004 Год назад +1

      @Valire Davis, a couple things come to mind; if you are receiving the calls on your cell phone you should be able to adjust the amount of rings before a call goes to your voicemail. Try increasing this.
      Another thing that comes to mind is what your systems programmed "Talk Time" is set to. This would have to taken care of by your property manager; you can program the system to allow 1 sec, up to 4 min and 15 sec of Talk Time once a call is answered. Perhaps this setting got adjusted incorrectly.
      Hope this helps, let me know.

      @@alexwright3004 😊 .. Hi, thanks so much for the advice.
      I don’t think that the amount of rings that are in my phone’s setting is an issue because it rings several times before I answer it if someone calls me using my cell phone number; the lack of ringing is only related to that call box.
      I was able to press 9 before & the door would open. - I have never attempted to have a conversation through that intercom with anyone who showed up because we did it on our phones after they arrived. Maybe the box needs to be serviced?? 🤷🏻‍♀️
      Thank you for trying to help; much appreciated.

    Now can you show how someone uses the code to dial? I know my code to my gate, but just entering the code doesn't dial my phone

    • @totalsecuritywarehouse3621
      @totalsecuritywarehouse3621  5 лет назад

      Hi Tamara. How a guest would dial a phone number to reach a resident is dependent on the model telephone entry system that you have.
      On smaller systems with a "Push to Call" button, the guest simply presses the "Push to Call" button to call the programmed phone number.
      Other systems that have multiple residents phone numbers programmed into the telephone entry system will have to press the desired residents directory code number; for the first programmed number simply press 01, for the second number press 02, and so on.
      If you can let us know what model your telephone entry system is we could provide more exact details. The model number is usually printed on the front plate of the telephone entry system, or on a sticker on the back of the unit. Or, if you can take a photo and send it our way, we can help you identify what model you have.
      Let me know how we can help you best!

    Is the master code in this case different of every door king machine the code after *02

    • @totalsecuritywarehouse3621
      @totalsecuritywarehouse3621  6 лет назад +1

      The master code is the four-digit number REQUIRED to gain access to the system memory. If you don't know what the master code is, it may be hand-written on the inside of your unit, or in the manuals somewhere.
      If you can't find your master code, a new one can be programmed by opening your DoorKing unit and locating the tiny MASTER CODE switch, turn it on, then on the front keypad enter your new four-digit master code then press "*". Turn the MASTER CODE switch off when you are completed.
      To add a new entry code, you would press *02, followed by your master code.

    What if I just want to change the entry code do I have to go through all the steps? We have a default entry code that unlocks the front door, so anybody can get in.

    • @totalsecuritywarehouse3621
      @totalsecuritywarehouse3621  4 года назад

      Wood Peck, yes the steps for adding a new entry code and changing an existing entry code are the same. Because your system can accommodate up to 3,000 different entry codes, it must have a way of storing and cataloging all those codes. Each entry code that you enter must be assigned to a directory code, only one entry code can be programmed for each directory code and entry codes cannot be duplicated.
      If your site is setup with DoorKing programming software, Account Manager, making these changes can be completed if fewer steps than if done directly from the telephone entries keypad.

      If you have forgotten your Master Code, no worries, a new Master Code can be programmed. You will have to have keys to open the entry system. Located the small MASTER CODE switch, typically located near the bottom of the main circuit board. Turn the MASTER CODE switch ON. Then, enter a new four-digit Master Code on the front keypad, then press *. You should here a BEEP. When complete, make sure to turn the MASTER CODE switch back to the OFF position. Hope this helps!

    How can you adjust the volume?

    • @totalsecuritywarehouse3621
      @totalsecuritywarehouse3621  3 года назад

      Most models have a small dial located on the main circuit that is labeled SPEAKER, or SPK VOL. Turn the dial with a small screwdriver in small increments. Note, adjusting the speaker volume can cause feedback; the microphone volume dial, or feedback dial may also need to be adjusted to combat this feedback.
