The only reason i work slow is because i like doing the job as clean as this . OCD is a blessing and a problem for employer. Sir Im awarding you my certificate of approval !
That is one super clean installation! Thank you for sharing!
It sure is nice to have all the bits handy to make up a board like that
This reminds me of my first internship, I was using the exact same equipments, tools and skills to build electrical boxes everyday! I am a SDE now but I miss those days a lot!
Whats SDE ?

thank you.
That is one clean and beautiful build!
thanks
I'm looking closer to your plan and i have some suggestions to apply in real electricity life experience for upgrade the quality of your project:
1/ Do not wire neutral all together from the main breaker, it is out of many standard for a good reason: in real life, you have not really zero Volt and zero Amper on the neutral wire from grid, so you can consider to separate neutral to cut out on division's breaker (and that is why you have two entries for the mono phase division breaker).
2/ if you link many wires together (even if multi-core wire), you have to weld them together inside the contact adapter, because you will sure have connection problem by the time and kind of damage on the full wire when the contact is not zero Ohm. This problem can also occur a fire start.
3/ separate power wire from data wire inside the conduit guides the way that you will no more have resultant current from AC
4/ Do not enclose wifi module inside a metal box (this box is a faraday box for the wifi signal), but use an aluminium profiled structure with wood or plastic cover or a PVC box instead.
Option can be to use a bluetooth key with a little bluetooth keyboard that has a mouse pad on it, and a 5 to 7 inch sensitive touch screen to your project that can control the Raspberry Pi4 device on the front panel.
thanks for your suggestion. thank you very much.
there are some really weird building methods seen here.
كيف أحصل على البرنامج
You would have to be insane to let google that far into your life
Very nice build! Personally i'd have gone with a neutral bus bar near the bottom couplers instead of crimped singles onto the main AC isolator, but very nice all the same, amazing time and attention to detail given!
thanks for suggestion.
Came to make same comment. Removing or adding one neutral, means a complete neutral harness rewire.
Also, no provision for expansion was made. Other than that, a very neat and tidy and well planned out job.
there is a solution that combines a neutral bus and live connectors into one part. www.oemautomatic.se/ui/product-resources/oem/d2-5-5-ntlp-l-_-90494.jpg?mh=600&mw=600&att=False&hash=80336DAAF093010834229FBD86BD3056
Great job! Congrats!
So satisfying ❤
Good work sir 👍
I work at an automation company, this is similar quality of build. 👍🏽
In 12:56 the ferrule is not crimped. 😁 Nice installation all together!
Looks great ❤❤
beautiful job !
Amazing job! Thumbs up

Excellent. Thank you.
you are welcome.
Fun to watch, and I love the build quality :)
thanks
oddly satisfying to watch... nice build for HA systems
thanks
nice tanks for uploded this video

You almost never see this kind of professional quality work on RUclips. Outstanding job! Exactly how I build my panels. I do want to know more about that label printer. Gotta get one.
thanks, label printer can easy found in aliexpress.
How does one manualy turn of the lights with this system in place?
@@tarcisiobatista5595 there is a manual control button, also you can connect with any wall switch (just push button) .
You can even get one from Brother printers (the P-Touch series, they have shrink tube cartridges for different size wires, and you can run with your computer or phone)
Thanx! Im finished! 👏
ok
Project 2024 is home automation and I want to learn and do it myself. This is amazing and want to learn. Will see your other videos and read up on other things but this is definitely thew way for me for my new home which has 1960 wiring and CBP which is non-standard :D
Oh wow this is so cool! Thanks for sharing.
Great topic, thanks 👍
Great job mr.kinconey
thanks
That is amazing!
Extraordinary. Compliments
Very Nice Brother.

Nice vedio
very impressive
One suggestion, I have been working in ASM factory, in Netherlands years ago, assembling Eagle A412 machines (yes, THAT ASM company - semiconductor machines manufacturer - in 2006). I have been trained for electrical assembly, and one of the first lessons was - never don't TWIST the copper wire after stripping insulation. For that, I could easily be sacked, I did it few times at the beginning, when senior assembly electrician saw me doing this, he explained that it is absolutely FORBIDDEN to do that in professional assembly. Many reasons, all very sensible. I refer to what I see in video in 5:43.
thanks for your suggestion.
This is awesome
Nice video, well done, thank you for sharing it with us :)
you are welcome, will make new video soon.
One of the neat work
thanks
Great video ... I have no idea about the topic but it was very interesting watching you doing the layout and the connections.
thanks
Cool!!!!
What and epic build! XD
Awesome
I remember someone doing this in house had to eventually modify the house to allow for the huge amount of wiring this idea needs. Meaning everything is controlled by relays in the electric box.
yes , similar , need put wire, it's stable than wireless
good .....

super
Love your work
thanks
Like it thanks

That was a beautiful build. You should sell all the components, ferrule, crimper, panel enclosure, wire duct, wire label printer, breakers....everything on your site.
yes, all parts have in our online store.
@@KinConyeven the wire label printer? That's what I want.
@@stevet7522 yes, you can find the printer on aliexpress online store, but it's heavy.
Impressive...❤
Can you help me for business of Home IoT....

That looks as good as any switchboards in my hospital. Top work!
Wow wow wow… super professional work. Good job 👏
thanks
Good work 💯 very nice ❤
thanks
Very clean build. Now, if you want to be 1000% perfect, you need to tighten those screws with a torque wrench as per spec.
thanks for suggestion.
@@storm4621 Every electrical component (contactor, relay, etc.) should offer that information in their product datasheet.

Really awesome project! What's the advantage of having a setting like this instead of having many Wi-Fi relays (like Shelly) directly connected on the switch?
wired solution is more stable than wifi solution
clean as fuck
Future👍
😮
excellent job, i want for my solar system monitoring if can customize for me to get PV real time data thanks
you can use Node-Red to read your meter data.
Clean and beautiful setup.
Just a question: What is the right type of cable to use it as a sensor extension cable?
any cable can use for sensor, such as CAT5 cable.
I only wish to have the half the skill set this dude has. So envious
thanks
👍
I thought that video is perfect at no doubt..., 🙃
But while scrolling the comments, some of them are suggesting that corrections and mistakes. I have learned more in this comment community...🙂
yes, you are welcome.
How would it control my light switch? Wouldn't I somehow need to connect it to the box?
brekaer output port use wire connect to your light. the light switch use by "momentary" switch, use wire connect to KC868-Server controller's INPUT port, 16 OUTPUT have 16 INPUT ports.
I wish there was more explanation. It looks amazing, though! Fun to watch!
ok, maybe in furture will make a new video more explanation
very nice build. do you have that running through a firewall or some other security to prevent attack, or don't you worry about it?
home assistant have security protect function.
I always wonder how much custom we can go. If there is a fire (regardless where), will the insurance company reject everything just because they find that some items are custom made and/or lacking CE or UL certification? What is the state for this kit?
main controller have CE
Waw !
beautiful...
muito bom seu projeto gostaria de fala com vc
thanks
nice dress
Excellent work, im from Philippines how to order im fan of kincony since your first video upload
thanks, you can order from our kincony aliexpress official store
Good day. Can the system measure power consumption on all 8 channels ?
you can add our KC868-M16 energy meter board, detect by CT clamp.
Using RPi for just turning on/off switches is way overkill, and considered the forever supply shortage of RPi you'd be better off using a 2$ ESP32.
It's also boot a lot faster and more resilience, you also don't have to worry about the OS halting and related problem.
it's two different solution. we also have ESP32 solution, but RPi is a computer, almost install any Linux softare, how to install home assistant on ESP32 MCU?
@@KinCony Heyo! There is a version for implementing home assistant on ESP32/8266 called "ESPHome". Try to look into it. Anyways, I am a huge fan of your work now!
Also, I have a question about installing this into my home. Do I need permission from the city/energy provider? I am still studying electronics and this could be a great project for my semester...
Where did you install the RPi ? I hoped you put more explanation about the parts you used or provide a simple list with a simple diagram of which part is installed where and its specs.@@KinCony
inside of KC868-Server, here is details: www.kincony.com/home-automation-local-server-raspberry-pi-relay.html@@PerchEagle
Thanks man :)@@KinCony
Why industrial components for home use? Is this the least expensive route?
because of stable is important.
Do you have a video Showing how to build this board? I love the wiring.
is this you wanted? ruclips.net/video/mKjOv1IVVxo/видео.html
Why you don't use end cap? On the terminals
Beautiful panel, but this outputs need to go to the entire house right? So, every lamp or outlet, you want to automate needs to go to the main panel right?
yes
very satisfying to watch. tho it's a bit questionable to crimp that bunch of wires for neutral line distribution from mechanical point of view
thanks, we will make that better in furture.
this is such a nice looking project but impossible to do it legally here. We even have very strict rules for AC and DC together in one box (pretty much not allowed). We also need to use 2pole breakers and also have to use RCDs... sometimes it is just easier to use only RCDs with integrated circuit breakers. We also do have a mix of single phase and 3phase devices... Every project I see is so nice but so unusable in our country...
It's a pity. thanks for your concern.
Which country? (I'm in UK.)
@@RichardDTube Czechia
@@RichardDTube i am in China.
Do you sell this rack already mounted? I'm looking for 16/32 relay switches solutions
Also Want to know where is the homeassistant instance installed? (SD card? eMMC?)
Thanks in advance!
there are two version of CM4, one use by eMMC, one use by SD card. we can sell completed DB version, here is our online store, you can check . shop.kincony.com
The back ground music spoils the fun.
that's awesome.
what does it cost those components if i orderd it ?
and it hard to install by myself?
am electrician by the way..
we have diagram for this, not difficult. all purchase link in video description.
Regarding the lk-320 printer, I bought the same one but with the ability to connect to a computer ( lk-320p). But the software had a problem installing. Can't install on Windows 10. Can you help me?
you can try to find whether printer have driver for Win10
ОК! Thanks!@@KinCony
You need to develop an interesting solution for IR, I know kc868 but it's too big for small applications and doesn't have output for external IR. An IR Hub is interesting or a compact WIFI/ZIGBEE system.
you are right, now the new version in our development plan, will have esp32 gateway support zigbee and IR extender way, use wire extend to send IR signal.
Our company would like to specialize in your products and methods for IOT. How can we get training?
www.kincony.com/forum/forumdisplay.php?fid=18
I have a updated question. What If internet goes out and Can not reach the app throught the network. How do someone manually turn off and on a light or even dim the light high to low?
it's a good question, all our solution have manual control buttons can work without network, without software, just physical control way.
Great video! I wondering if the temperature of the air conditioner can be adjusted, or it's just an on-off control. Thank you in advance for your reply ;^)
this just for ON/OFF, but add our other IR products, that can control any IR devices.
Thank you for your feedback. I'll check with Kincony's website.
