Hi, what advantages would the Graco 9.5 offer over the 7.0?
    Thank you.

Hi Paul, the 9.5 is able to spray at a higher pressure and is available in the 110V version too (for UK painters). The 9.5 also has an expanded needle kit which includes #3, #4 and #5 needle sizes. Learn more here: ruclips.net/video/xy4-WgUNgxY/видео.html

What would be the advantages/disadvantages between this HVLP set up and an old school 2 gallon conventional spray pot with a conventional spray gun, like the Binks model 62 ? Thank you, John

Hi John, thank you for your question. At first glance, these two guns look very similar (comparing the edge II Plus with the Binks 62), they both have adjustable dials for air and volume, both have an adjustable nozzle for your spray pattern and both can use the pot/beaker system or have a material tube feed added. The key feature differences are (1) HVLP operates at lower pressure. The Binks 62 had suggested PSI for enamels at around 50-60 PSI, the HVLP sprayer operates between 7 to 9.5 PSI (depending on model) and often times much lower. This is a 80%-90% working air pressure reduction! (2) the FlexLiner cup/beaker system now operates in a vacuum allowing you to work with the gun upside-down (3) the TurboForce II and Smartstart allows for a much better working efficiency. Also we can mention (4) lighter, compact, versatile construction of the HVLP and Edge II spray gun (5) easier to repair the HVLP Edge spray gun. Having said all this, we do appreciate the construction of the vintage Binks 62 - the customisation of the spray gun was very forward thinking at its time. We interested to hear how our experienced HVLP spray painters have found the new technology- The Graco TurboForce II FinishPro HVLP 9.5 has been getting really good reviews so far.

Hi, I'm trying to decide between those 2 sprayers too for doing the same type of work. Which one did you go for in the end?
