Dave Chappelle Show was godawful. Cheap laughs, stupid humour. I didn't become a DC fan until I saw Killing Them Softly, which is up there with Delirious, imo. Chappelle's stand-ups are where he is in his prime.

You cannot help but think of Richard Pryor when you see/hear Chappelle...Pryor was that same prodigy, that Stewart is referencing. And just like he looked out for Dave early in the game...guys like Redd Foxx and Dick Gregory, looked out for Richard.

Dave Chappelle deserves EVERY single award that comes his way. The man is one of the true OGs of comedy and, in my opinion, never disappoints. He says whatever the heck he wants to say, and regardless of the subject matter it is always hilarious.
Jon Stewart is my forever hero. That being said, I watched an interview with Dave Chappell. He said he told his father what he wanted to do with his life. His father said, ‘Know your worth.” He was not talking about $$$. He was telling his son how far will you let them cross over the line of your integrity.
