    • @TK0_23_
      @TK0_23_ Год назад +3

      @@kiriakoz A setup for a joke is the first part of the joke. It can be amusing in itself or be serious or just an anecdote. (Anecdote: a short amusing or interesting story about a real incident or person.) This gives a premise and will lead into the punchline. The punchline is the second and final part of the joke.
      In John Stewarts joke, he pretended to be praising Chapelle and honoring him, all the while drawing the listener into a serious mood, only to spring the punchline on them. The surprise is another key to comedy.
      Now I know this is difficult for someone like you to understand If you need more of an explanation, there are some very good videos tailored to grade school level people, such as yourself. Have a nice day.

    Dave Chappelle deserves EVERY single award that comes his way. The man is one of the true OGs of comedy and, in my opinion, never disappoints.
    He says whatever the heck he wants to say, and regardless of the subject matter it is always hilarious.

    Jon Stewart is my forever hero. That being said, I watched an interview with Dave Chappell. He said he told his father what he wanted to do with his life. His father said, ‘Know your worth.” He was not talking about $$$. He was telling his son how far will you let them cross over the line of your integrity. Dave walked away when he felt they were not looking out for his core beliefs! I have mad respect for Dave. And I will always support and love his comedy! 😘🤜🏽👏🏼🙌🏽
