(Cell saga) What if goku trained with vegeta instead of gohan in the hyperbolic time chamber?
(And Gohan trains with trunks instead)
Realistically they would all lose since only Goku was able to help push gohan and vegeta properly would still screw things up with cell
@@glassgear6707 maybe, but if trunks and gohan took the first turn in the chamber they would be out during cell hunting A18, but probably neither of them would get perfect ssj unless Goku gave pointers to them while Goku and Vegeta would definetly get ssj2
@@glassgear6707I don't think Cell would even achieve his Semi-perfect form because if it wasn't for Vegeta, they'd be able to take down an imperfect Cell.
That being said without Vegeta and his saiyan pride Gohan And Trunks would make quick work of Cell.
@@glassgear6707if Goku and Vegeta went into the RoSaT together, Goku would have less focus on Gohan, and more on himself.
Likely leading to SSJ Grade 4 for Goku and Vegeta.
Vegeta is an idiot and may try to let Cell become perfect, but Goku wouldn't let him as he knows the dangerous situation.
As for Gohan and Trunks
If these two went into the RoSaT together, it could lead to a stronger bond for them as well as have potential for gohan to become stronger.
Goku was just telling gohan abiut how his whole family and friends are in danger from cell.
Trunks would have the advantage of telling Gohan about his future self, how gohan was the last Z fighter left and time and time again lost to the androids, until his defeat.
Maybe even leading to gohan having a similar mindset of trunks, wanting to "change the future"
This could also be very therapeutic for Trunks as he would be training with his mentor all over again.
While they may not fully unlock Grade 4, i feel they would be very close to reaching that level, with Gohan's anger and new mindset pushing him closer to the edge.

I personally think Goku is going to totally overkill anything he comes up against until he faces the android saga that is where getting super Saiyan so early is gonna bite him in the backside but at the same time he might be able to really turn things around too the Saiyan saga is going to be a washout lol

The Androids and Cell are going to be super OP by then which is not good at all
However I don't think the heart virus is going to bring Goku down during that time I think it will hit earlier and Goku survive thanks to trunks giving him the heart medicine I think Goku is going to play a much bigger role in the android saga
Coming back to your videos after a bit of a hyperfixation burnout where pretty much no DB content interested me. Very curious to see how things have changed since my one comment some time back. I'll probably be writing this comment in a liveblog-style where I add to it as I go through the video.
I enjoyed getting a glimpse into why you picked when you did for Goku to get SSj, even if most people would've assumed that was the most likely point. Getting to know the actual thought process behind why a choice is made for one of these what ifs is always really nice, especially when it's during the "laying the groundwork" stage.
Falling through Nimbus is a VERY good detail. Hearkens to how he always has to go into base form to charge a Spirit Bomb (and for the same reasons, I assume.)
I like that the strain of Super Saiyan forces Goku out of the form after his first burst of proper exertion. I assume that's the balancing metric here, in order to add some tension even to this early arc.
YES. Goku having a hard time tapping back into Super Saiyan is the peak kind of detail I'm looking for. I always love it when a piece of fanfiction actually acknowledges the difficult of using and maintaining Super Saiyan during the early stages. It just helps make it feel like there's more of a purpose to something like Mastered Super Saiyan and such if it isn't ridiculously easy to ascend.
Yeah no, in general this feels like a really strong first episode with a lot of consideration put into not just the fights and power but the writing. It's very much the kind of thing I like to see from what if content, good work my man!
I very much wonder what the ripple effect of Super Saiyan existing will be this early on, not just from a power perspective but from the perspective of the characters around Goku. How will they feel about Goku's transformation, will any of the other fighters be demotivated seeing a wall they're unlikely to scale/a limit they will be unlikely to break themselves? I'm very interested in what comes next.
I like this concept being covered by more people. I'm curious to see how your version and Wrathful Saiyans version will end.

One what-if concept I had one is 'what if Piccolo Jr was part Saiyan'. Now you might be thinking 'how would that even make sense?'. And yeah. biologically it'd be a bit of a stretch. But it could be handwaved as something like... when Goku used his penetrate attack through King Piccolo, some of the blood from his wounds ended up being transferred into King Piccolo at just the right moment - normally that wouldn't do anything (even if King Piccolo wasn't dying), but when he made that egg, it sampled from both King Piccolo's cells, as well as cells from Goku's blood, meaning that Piccolo Jr gets the dna of both (technically being King Piccolo and Goku's son, and Gohan's half-brother).
Mostly, I just think it would be funny if the first Super Saiyan was a Namekian.

This one is gonna rock so hard and goku getting ssj so early means he could train with it and its further forms and possibly master them way earlier then canon
I honestly want this early transformation to lead into Goku asking Shenron about it and finding out he's actually a Saiyan while he's still a kid (and by extension, learning about his Great Ape form). I have seen a few other versions of this concept, but they've always had Goku be oblivious to what he actually is until Raditz' appearance like normal.
This is gonna be an interesting Salad take.

I feel like we're not gonna see Piccolo Jr. for a while, since goku is so much more powerful now, he's probably gonna be in hiding for a lot longer, trying to get stronger. (Maybe using the dragon balls to wish for strength, giving us an early Power Awakened Piccolo/Orange Piccolo? It's the only way I can see him matching ssj goku by the time the next World Tournament happens.)

It's funny because your Frieza Potential scenario already partially did this, but that series was... obviously different. Curious to see your take, since everyone else jumped on this concept as soon as they could.
I for one think that basic what if concepts that are really good should be preserved for when more information is known.
Goku will make certain enemies stronger by default.
I really hope that you make Z Fighters stronger here. Normally with 23rd Tenkaichi, people like Tien only grew in strength to match Goku and King Piccolo, nt really seeing how much stronger Goku could have gotten. Here they see just how absurdly powerfull Goku became and im sure, that would give Tien even greater mtivation to train like crazy to defend his title as a champion.
Goku had a power of 180 which multiplied by 50 is 9000, stronger then Raditz and Nappa.
KO this looks promising, can’t wait to see how Goku and everyone’s lives would be like with him having Super Saiyan early than the original!

You know, given the circumstances, I could see the human fighters training on Kami's lookout too, which would do wonders for them for the tournament and the saiyan saga, and even Namek, as their potential should grow accordingly from their bodies adapting to more power earlier in life
There's also the fact that they didn't meet Yajirobe, so there should be way more availability for senzu beans

@@AgnesBooth-zu7tw When Vegeta and Nappa arrived, Krillin and Tien had power around the 1800 mark, Yamcha around the 1500 mark and chiaotzu around the 700 mark.
Before training with Kami, they were between 130 (Chiaotzu) and 250 (Tien), and they got those massive gain in just a year.
Given that, I think them reaching in between 2000-3000 would be pretty reasonable if they had jumpstarted their training with Kami so much earlier, maybe close to 3500 for Krillin and Tien, just shy of Piccolo

I’ve always liked this idea but I’m not sure how much it would change Goku and the story. I remember watching this as a kid and thinking they would end up together when goku grew up
All hail Piccolo day, also i much prefer this to the Carthu's version and it just super cool taking into consideration that Goku would not be able to ride Kinto due to evil in the heart that Super Saiyan creates, as well as him just getting Tired due to travelling with his copied flight since it would be inneficient so he would not get to King Piccolo before running out. Also Gohan due to his father having already unlocked Super Saiyan would have much easier time unlocking it for himself just like his little brother so he may grow into even more of a BEAST than in canon.
Also it is very likely that Piccolo seeing a much stronger Goku defeat his father would strive even harder in his training and result in a much stronger Piccolo than the one originally at this moment.
Here is an Idea, What if Goku had split personality disorder? We can say it was caused by hitting his head, seperating Kakarot and Goku into two different personalities. While this might be hard to make an interesting story, while a little unrealistic we can use Kakarot as a plot device for conflicts and interference.
Edit: Similar to Old Piccolo and Kami Dynamics.

It only happened the second time Krillin died because he believed Krillin was ACTUALLY gone for good. I think a good time to have him go super saiyan early would probably be when Bora died. Just my opinion. I love this scenario by the way!
