- Alternate title - What if Future Gohan & Trunks Beat the Androids?
I did a similar scenario a while back, so consider this a remake. Amidst their training, Trunks is able to unlock Super Saiyan much earlier than normal. While Gohan & Trunks don't have the raw power to beat the Androids yet, this sets off a chain of events leading to an eventual victory. How does it happen? Let's discuss!

It should be easier for Bulma to build the time machine again now that the Androids are gone. No more cities living in fear so more people working and more resources available with globe trotting adventures. Especially if they get a spaceship and get in contact with King Kai so they can go to New Namek.
agree part of the slow proceeds apart from getting scraps was the risk of being killed by the androids.

To this day, I think it was a missed opportunity for Gohan not to use the Special Beam Cannon in the History of Trunks special.
Also kinda weird since it's one of the only energy attacks that wouldn't have been negatively affected by him losing his arm. I guess he either wasn't sure he could snipe one and get away with killing the other, or he didn't have as much practice with it as Piccolo and Gohan did in Superhero and didn't think he could pull it off in the time that he'd need to charge it. That and hit something vital enough to delay the Androids from getting serious and kicking his ass immediately after. Which to be fair, is pretty valid. Considering that 17 was kicking his ass with half power alone in the fight where he died originally, and then 18 just made that fight impossible for him to win straight out.

We still got the Buu Arc, and i wanna see Ultimate Gohan with the scars.

Part 2. Gohan, Trunks , and Bulma start to try and help rebuild humanity. Gohan wonders what they could do and then he remembers the Kami’s lookout. With No guardian , the 3 decide to make this their base of operations, their home. Bulma begins to give the place a makeover, making it into Capsule Corp Lookout. She even starts studying the hyperbolic Time Chamber which perhaps could help her better develop her Time Machine. No better place to call home in this Timeline.

If they go back to the past they could wish it back with the Dragon Balls after dealing with the Cell Nonsense. Either that or adapt some tech from the Androids and give him a cool Robo Arm. It'd be significantly easier for them to actually get R&D going now that the Androids are gone, but Cell whether he happens or not is gonna throw a massive wrench in the plans.

(Cell saga) What if goku trained with vegeta instead of gohan in the hyperbolic time chamber?
(And Gohan trains with trunks instead)
Good idea
Trunks could get stronger after seeing Gohan potential and goku would make vegeta skip ssj grade 2.
With the Time Machine being destroyed, this might just mean that Present Goku is going to die due to the Heart Virus because the Future Warriors might be too late.
You do realize that even if their time goes equal to them, then can always go back before androids shown off.

Babidi is going to take control of Cell and make him Perfect or possibly even Cell-X (I always wanted to see Cell-X in a What If)
Badidi showed after trunks returned form the cell games 7 years after
And cell showed three years fate the sndorkdbsgas started in the past, fought him before returning back to the past, (explained in the movie, Bojacl unbound)

Cell will find out the androids have been dead a while and will feel that Gohan and Trucks are stronger than him and without the time machine will lose his purpose reverting to survival instincts, skulk about consuming people. When Bobidi shows up will pick up the greatest Killi and evil on earth with his magic find that cell is a walking energy extractor and recruit him. Bobidi would find out from cell that he can get far stronger and would use his magic to resurrect the androids for cell to absorb.

Good job on the writing for this one, Salad. I especially enjoyed how they didn't just train for a bunch of time and have a one sided fight, high five and go home to sit around half @$$ train for the next threat. They actually had to have a bit of luck with your first change, and then use effective tactics to outsmart the opponents.
Some of your more recent videos were getting pretty stale plot wise TBH, but this one clearly shows that you still got it. Well done my man.

Yeah but remember the whole story was design to made Gohan a tragic hero.
Gohan could have easily grow stronger to defeat the androids, he had that power he fought final form frieza on his base
But the writers decide to kill Gohan.

Gohan's death was greatly over blown, and he finally used his brain to win instead of trying to overpower his opponents, now the nearest threat is Cell but how will it get resolved and will they try the time machine, either way i cannot wait.

I'm curious about what will happen next since the Androids are dead now. What is Cell going to do here now with the Androids gone my guess is that maybe he goes to Babidi for help when he shows up. 🤔 Also, I guess this means Gohan, Trunks, and Bulma rebuild the Future Timeline & since time travel isn't needed anymore, maybe she can shift her priorities into finding New Namek now. 👍 Ah Future Gohan using the Special Beam Cannon I remember that been a move option from a video game. I'm hoping Gohan meets Videl here because he deserves happiness. 🙂 Anyways another really good start to this new series, and looking forward to the next part soon.

hopefully, this will cause them to train more, realizing that foes just as powerful if not more powerful than the androids could appear, as they were only able to win by using strategy and not might, i'm very excited to see what will happen next, hopefully, bulma still tries to build the time machine even after the androids are defeated
They don't need to have raw strength, they could easily just win by using strategy,
It's not like the re fighting golden frieza or let goku black reach rose.

here i leave another short what if:
_the victory of Super Vegeta!! - what if vegeta defeated perfect cell??_
the time had come, vegeta was about to get out of the room of spirit and time but... nothing happened, everyone started to worry after the first hour, vegeta was supposed to leave the room by know but the door didn't open, "something happened??", after another hour they wanted to ask mr popo to force the entry, but then the door oppened.
vegeta and trunks came out the room with the clothes severely damaged, the chest piece was gone, the blue expandex had a sleeve and the gloves missing, whatever vegeta was doing these extra couple hours should be really intense.
trunks by the other hand was only using his shirt, the jacket was completely gone, his pants had several holes and both look battered, "did they had a fight or something??", vegeta refused to tell what he was doing these extra hours, or days inside, they just changed to bulma's suits and got ready to find cell.
the fight went as originally, cell plead to vegeta to let him get his perfect form so vegeta could have a challenge, trunks got in the middle and fought cell and his father, cell blinded them and absorved 18, reaching his perfect form, everyone were terrified except by 1 person, vegeta.
vegeta clapped in sarcastic way, telling cell that now he matched his power, but he hoped that wasn't all he had, cell, full of confidence, told vegeta that he made a mistake, because now he was unstoppable, vegeta smirked and provoked cell to fight him, both warriors disappeared as they started fighting, cell overwhelmed vegeta with his new strength, but something was off, despite cell having advantage, he felt that his attacks against vegeta weren't having the desired effect.
this thought was confirmed when vegeta smirked cleaning off the blood of his lip, he was indeed stronger, but vegeta wanted cell to go all out, cell felt uneasy but he shrugged it off and kept fighting as they raised their power, but soon enough he saw it even if he was fighting vegeta with almost all his power, he felt vegeta wasn't really shaken, in fact he looked more confident, as he told cell that even in that situation, vegeta wasn't giving all the power he had, so he asked, no, HE ORDERED cell to use all his power, otherwise, vegeta would exterminate him.
cell lost it, cursing vegeta while he put his hands on a cup in front of him, charging a kame hame ha with every inch of his power they he launched against vegeta, vegeta by his side had a flash of memory, remembering the first time he saw that technique, so he thought that the best way to end this was responding with a galick gun, vegeta charged his attack and launched it against cell, as the beams clashed and started to struggle cell yelled how he was gonna kill vegeta, and then he was going to kill the earthlings one by one, starting with his stupid kid and family, vegeta, suddenly vegeta expression changed, and with a sign of rage on his face pured more power into his attack, slowly pushing cell's.
cell tried to fight back, pushing but it was useless, for every inch or extra power he putted, vegeta responded with ten times more, then finally cell lost the battle, as he saw the beam coming towards him he knew, it was over, even his perfect form wasn't enough, cell disintegrated with only one emotion left...
fear...

Future Gohan deserved this ending after all the sacrifices. Hopefully he gets his hand back and finds a way to find new Namek to wish everyone who was killed back. (Goku should be able to contact him throught King Kai just like he did after dying to the cell bomb) to tell him about Namek.

We can always get more future gohan. He should have been able to rest long enough after decades of fighting enough to fully heal himself and mind before going back in.

Salad did make one What-If about Future Gohan becoming an android, complete with a cybernetic arm. That basically turned him into, well, the Salad Saiyan we saw in his old intro.

All of Future Bulma’s resources and time were going into the Time Machine. Which is way more important the Gohan’s arm. Which btw Bulma might not be able to fix. Cybernetics and Prosthetics aren’t her expertise, she’s just an Engineer
It wasn't explain, why Gohan didn't receive a prosthetic, it made no sense on why bulma wouldn't try to help Gohan, since got handycap, and if Gohan died then she would died too, plus Gohan died before the time machine was ready, this is more plot then anything
Also it's on her field, she could to a prosthetic, as you said she is an engineer, capable of reverse engineering stuff,

I just want to bring up something really bizarre about the Future timeline that no one ever talks about. I know this is far before Super so it wasn't considered, but why didn't the Androids get stronger with time passing? Not only does this explain why Gohan couldn't win alone, but it would also allow him to still grow to insanely high levels while keeping the main timeline in check. Future Trunks grows a lot from it, and that's what makes him so uniquely strong by the time of Dragon Ball Super.
No, I'm not expecting the writers to have written SSJ Blue level 17 over the time, but I'm just saying that they should have been noticeably stronger than anyone in the main timeline.
