Neil Banerjee this is a -600, its quite new with a nice turbofans. The substitute A350 has only recently entered service, I think it was the last quarter of 2015.
My absolute favorite, the grace and elegance queen of the skies i.e. the A340, shown in a exercise of agility and control. Great video, thanks. The massive A380 looks pretty much undisturbed by the strong winds!
watching this vid again and I'm thinking to myself _"c'mon, this is Germany and Germans are notorious for devising ways to eliminate a problem rather than just handling it. So why hasn't Dusseldorf just put up a giant fan blowing the other direction given how many of these CW landings they have?"_ Yes I'm joking folks :)
Whereas those are good landings, it's hard to compare one landing in this video to another because we don't know the windspeed and especially the gusts near touchdown.
Wieder mal ein sehr schönes Video, der absolute Wahnsinn für Maschine, Pilot und Zuschauer! Die 3 Hasen bei 2:20 min sind doch noch bei Rot über die Bahn gehoppelt!! ;-)
I could watch this all day long. Fantastic photography! I told my wife if we lived near an airport like this I wouldn't be hard to find because I would spend all my free time watching these giants. Thanks so much for sharing these and please put more on.
Makes for brilliant viewing. I know of pilots who get so fed up with autopilot all the time that they welcome crosswinds like this because they said, “we actually get to use our skills”
Those airliners look like giant swans as they seem to descend vertically, thanks to a superb choice of camera angle. This video compilation is a true work of art, worthy of huge viewership numbers over the coming months and years. This video compilation is a true plane watcher's classic in the making.
Love it. Amazes me how pilots can control those planes in tough situation. I go to Düsseldorf almost every year in March and luckily have yet to experience those kind of landings.
It is just a 737 800ng with a new winglet option, the split scimitar winglets. the 737 max is still in the testing phase with 4 special designed test-aircrafts
I came to the comment section to see who would be asking about the animals running across the runway at 2:25 ..... sadly disappointed that nobody cared LOL but thats because people that are here just care about AIRPLANES! I love them too =D
It was neat to see the deer crossing the runway at the 2:23 mark. Good thing they kept moving quickly as that plane was landing. Some of those landings were pretty dicey too. I remember landing a Cessna in Spain some years ago. The crosswind was such that I almost couldn't get the plane to track the runway heading. LOL Fortunately, the wind subsided enough on my long final, and I was able to land without incident, other than a fairly long stretch caught in ground effect. Fun times.
Amazing video of of strong crosswinds' landings. It's not easy to land in a strong crosswind with a low wing aircraft because the correct technique asks for the wing to be lowered into the wind just before touchdown while stepping on the rudder to point the nose away from the wind. Do it too much and you might scrape a wing, do it too little and you land sideways, putting a lot of pressure on the landing gear. Pilots that get it right deserve their pay-check that day :-)
2:20 RUNRUNRUN! :D
hahahah i thin dogs
legend has it the dogs are still running
Rabbits (not dogs)
Hippopotamuses
An A340 never ceases to look awesome.
too sad some of them are being replaced with the a350
777 ok
One of my favorite planes. I want it in Microsoft flight sim 🙏🏽
7:30 the delta 767 like "oh you guys are filming sorry, well this is my magic trick: "now you see me, now you dont!"
Bunnies you were cleared for runway 12r not 12l
Lol
That's way bigger than rabbits ! Looks like deers or boars instead !
Lightevil6354 aneh yang mendaratkan

+Mateyhv1 True, I'm gutted Emirates are slowly killing off their 500's though. Thankfully Lufthansa and Virgin still have these 600's
Hooked on Aviation
Well, you know Emirates likes the best, the biggest and the newest ;)
That A380 was like : 'wind ? what wind ?' and landed like a boss. 3:16
Yeah thats right ! jeje and at 2:20 The B777 was like a boss to.
That's no a380
@@phineasphreak6158 that's not 777 but that's a 757
@@mahatirmuhammad7877 At 2:21 then.
Unforgettable Shadows It is... wtf?
My absolute favorite, the grace and elegance queen of the skies i.e. the A340, shown in a exercise of agility and control. Great video, thanks.
The massive A380 looks pretty much undisturbed by the strong winds!
Amazing video with beautiful landings and planes. Also at 2:21 3 rabbits crossing the runway. So nice.
Airbus at 3:10 was definitely my favorite. Quick recovery from a slight drop from the air , SWEET!
the a380 makes the other planes looks like toys
+Steve Haigh True!
Steve Haigh Tell that to the Antonov an 225
i meant in that video
Steve Haigh ok. I agree
Awesome vantage point. This was a very difficult day. Mostly for passengers. The pilots are bosses. And damn lucky rabbits!
Wow amazing footage. Never seen planes from this angle before. It's almost like you are on the runway with your camera stand waiting for them
Did I see (?) at 2:20 some critters run across the runway? Thanks for another super video Cargospotter, a joy as always!!
what were they? looked like baby deers
+John Phillips wild rabbits, massive Boone&Crockett ones.
+I Be Trollin' They Be Hatin' thanks I Be, I was thinking either I saw something or my mind is going!
watching this vid again and I'm thinking to myself _"c'mon, this is Germany and Germans are notorious for devising ways to eliminate a problem rather than just handling it. So why hasn't Dusseldorf just put up a giant fan blowing the other direction given how many of these CW landings they have?"_
Yes I'm joking folks :)
Henrik Stidsen
Because a ship wont jump out of the water and fly into it like a plane would. lol
Awesome !! Love this airport and it's crosswind landings !! Keep shooting this type of gig !
2:20 animals on the runway XD
Where???
That 757 and 777 pilot around 2:10/2:30 nailed those landings. Nicely done.
Whereas those are good landings, it's hard to compare one landing in this video to another because we don't know the windspeed and especially the gusts near touchdown.
Wieder mal ein sehr schönes Video, der absolute Wahnsinn für Maschine, Pilot und Zuschauer! Die 3 Hasen bei 2:20 min sind doch noch bei Rot über die Bahn gehoppelt!! ;-)
Those bunnies were like, "Run!"
Great skill those pilots, some nasty moments . but all ended well.THANKS
Spectacular shots. Those winds had to be right at the limit for safe landings.
Excellent crosswind captures, dramatic to watch, excellent piloting.
This video is absolutely SPECTACULAR!!!!!! Faaaaantastic!!!
Can always count on you for a brilliant crosswind video! An absolute pleasure to watch Martin!
Awesome mate, awesome! I don't have any other word...
Congratulations for your videos and your channel, here you have another subscriber.
Superbes images...
Le kiss landing du A380 (3'32'') dans ces conditions, c'est fort!
I could watch this all day long. Fantastic photography! I told my wife if we lived near an airport like this I wouldn't be hard to find because I would spend all my free time watching these giants. Thanks so much for sharing these and please put more on.
Loved every second of this video! Thnx a mill :D
Like the hares running across the runway at 2:24 into the video.
+David Stuckey (Explorer) Buns!
Wow, A380 what a majestic beast, loved the last 777 and A340, A330 what a wing flex! Nice video as always!
I think A380 offers more security than other planes in crosswinds. Congratulations from Brazil!
Were there some design issues with this airport? If cross wind happens so often, surely the runway should be designed in a different direction.
Makes for brilliant viewing. I know of pilots who get so fed up with autopilot all the time that they welcome crosswinds like this because they said, “we actually get to use our skills”
I love watching your videos, the video quality is fantastic and the wind sound is very minimal, as always great job!
2:50 is spectacularly beautiful!
2:24 dafuq are bunnies doing at an airport lol
haha indeed
They were late to their flight...
You'd be surprised how many bunnies I've seen running across the grass in European airports
My father used to be a flight attendant. He told me that bunnies on runway is normal in Europe.
Like almost every field in Europe has rabbits living in it and airports are usually made on fields
Great sight for the rabbits at 2:22 :)
Those airliners look like giant swans as they seem to descend vertically, thanks to a superb choice of camera angle. This video compilation is a true work of art, worthy of huge viewership numbers over the coming months and years. This video compilation is a true plane watcher's classic in the making.
Another amazing crosswind video! I could watch this over and over again
1:42 you can see the wake turbulence gliding left above plane.
its the heat waves generated by the engines
amazing
thanks for pointing that out; i never would have noticed it
Sehr beeindruckende Aufnahmen!Daumen hoch!Gruss inselvideo!
Wonderful #videography of these big birds coming in and down and up. Superb composition.
Excellent job, just is pure joy of watching, thank you !
2.25. the jet blast going like a wave, distorting the scenery. gorgeous
Cred to the pilots.
I love the camera angle. The aircraft just shows up on short final. Very nice videos. Thank you
Spectacular video! So awesome to see crosswinds on aircraft!
The last dude nailed it… But then he was like, I could do better. So I went around practice the next one. These guys are fantastic Pilots.
Another great crosswind video, mate! Well done!
757 737 and airbus A321 are just my favorite kinds of planes
What an amazing video mate! All those crosswind landings looks so amazing! HUGE LIKE!
lufthansa 340 and turkish a330 landings were mess. but that 777 @2:23 was class. perfect example of crosswind landing.
Absolutely loved it! Great quality as usual!
The A340 is sooo beautiful
YOU JUST GOTTA LOVE THOSE ENGINEERS!!!!
2:15 look at the animals running across the runway!!!!!!
Excellent vdo showing pilot's skill and experience. Every landing you can walk away from is a good landing!
Wow it takes some serious experience to land in these conditions props to the pilots and am I the only one who saw rabbits at 2:20 ?
+GTAFlightsHD Wild pigs lol...
The A3 series are really quite handsome! Thank u for another great video!
A340-600 is such a beautiful aircraft.
I love your videos! Greetings from Argentina.
Love it. Amazes me how pilots can control those planes in tough situation. I go to Düsseldorf almost every year in March and luckily have yet to experience those kind of landings.

Those were beer not deer
wow execellent landings given what they were facing with these winds !! awesome footage
Beautiful view of the new 737 MAX, at 5:04
It is just a 737 800ng with a new winglet option, the split scimitar winglets. the 737 max is still in the testing phase with 4 special designed test-aircrafts
+stokkulf Ohhhhhhhh, I didn't know that. Thanks
no problem! I also got confused at first a while ago about that so you're not the only one ;)
+stokkulf because it really looks the same but everyday we learn something, I didn't you could custom the winglets! Thanks
Was für krasse Landungen!! Klasse compilation!! Daumen hoch :)
Absolutely awesome camera and lens you have! Major kudo's to all the pilots!
The quality is impressive ! Gorgeous light also ! Big like !
Great video, I like the filming style of stationary camera. The planes swoop down from the top of the frame!
These are the nail-biting moments when pilots earn their salaries. Whoever thinks hand-flying has become a dying art MUST see this video collection.
Excellent shot. Thx for sharing ....
testimony to how well the pilots are trained and how robust the aircraft’s construction
Outstanding footage.
Simply amazing footage.. loved the video.

Brilliant shots and pilot skill....loved it.
Imagine the pressure on the rear wheels when it touches the ground first and then slides to one side due to air pressure, amazing!!
It was neat to see the deer crossing the runway at the 2:23 mark. Good thing they kept moving quickly as that plane was landing. Some of those landings were pretty dicey too. I was hoping you would get another windy day. Y ou do a great job!!! Always enjoy you vids. Cheers
2:35 I wanna bop its nose! 😂 It really stands out!
Absolutely stunning vid! Keep em' coming!
Beautiful video. Got distracted by the cool wingtip vortices visible at the tree-line.
That A380 be like: Crosswind? What Crosswind? ;)
A340-600 such a beauty! is it always this windy at this airport???? Scary!
Awesome footages!!
Very good pilot at 4:12. Great quality of this vid !
Yea the 320 was struggling but the pilot manages it like a boss
Beautiful filming! Always love your footage. :)
2:20 RABBITS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! GO-AROUND!!!!
WINDSHEAR AHEAD! PULL UP
Absolutely brilliant spotting footage!
The yellow sky @ 2:50 is great contrast. It just stood out compared to the rest. Those little animals @ 2:20 also.
crasy crosswind flying !
Fantastic, as always :)
Excellent video, many thanks for sharing.
Nice Video Bud.
Gaaaahhh. I freakin' love these crosswind videos. Well done.
I love that perspective! Really looks as if they're descending vertically doesn't it.
Lol yeah like a chopper
Amazing video of of strong crosswinds' landings. Nope, the more common technique in low wing aircraft is crabbing for that very reason.
