- Hi folks, in this weeks video I show how I sewed up my 🌟💙Chanel “STYLE” Skirt with Flare 💙🌟 this is a super comfy little number with, for me, just the right amount of embellishment 👌👌👌I couldn’t be happier with the end result and know I will get so much wear out of this over the coming years 👌👌👌. Fabric - Outer - Tweed - Linton Tweeds - Sold Out, Lining 100% Viscose - from my stash
Interfacing - Standard - Vilene - widely available
Buttons - From my stash - I can’t remember where I bought these..🤔
Stitch length used - normal 2.5mm, longer length 3-4mm, shorter 1.4mm
Needle used - size 70 sharps needle.
My Sewing machine - Brother F420
My Overlocker - Brother 1043d
Pattern weights I usually use www.diy.com/de...
Marking Pen I usually use - Prym Trickmarker EF
Paper I usually use for patterning - standard parcel paper
And you should be over the moon, that skirt is gorgeous. Beautiful fabric, love the lining and those buttons, just lovely. If I saw you on the street I would swear that was Chanel.

That was a fabulous video, but probably a bit advanced for me. But I loved how you did the frayed embellishment and I will use the idea for a jacket. Have never lined anything before but might give it I try now.

Love this skirt! The fabric is such a beautiful color and the fact that you can see just a bit of the lining peaking out of the hem makes it, I’m sure working with the weave of this fabric was challenging but well worth it. You’re so talented!

Lovely skirt! I enjoyed this video so much especially the part with making a corresponding lining and attaching the lining to the skirt: there's a moment when there are lots of layers and around the zipper, and I was very curious how would you do it :) it was a pleasure and gaining knowledge to watch, thank you! :)
